I ordered a quinoa salad and a turmeric latte. When I got my salad there was a medium dark hair sticking out of my salad. The quinoa salad was served by a waitress with medium long dark hair so I presume it was hers, or it could have been from the kitchen staff. Anyway, I ate it for a bit (because I am a bit of a drifter) but I could no longer eat it and went to the till. I explained what happened to a girl. She took off the service charge of my bill and nevertheless made me pay £19! I will never return to Roni’s Bakeries!!!!! The hygiene levels is terrible!!!!

Cafe in Hampstead with a pleasant and calm atmosphere. Very friendly staff. There were children and they were very attentive to them, asking at all times to advise what to take.

A choice of truly delicious gluten-free pastry which is not a chocolate brownie or a shortbreads. Worth taking a look, but read the label carefully make sure you talking with the personal who knows what contains gluten and what’s not.

Staff just weren’t bothered when my friend and I reported that our cup of tea was only warm when served. Then our jacket potatoes were served warm plus not up to much. Left most of our food, as very tasteless and disappointing. Told waitress how we felt but she just shrugged her shoulders! Cakes looked good but I will definitely not be returning with such negative staff attitudes and poor food/warm tea.

Sorry guys I have to say. English breakfast - really disappointing. Especially in line with the price. I get that Hamstead is a gentrified location and prices will reflect that, but if your going to charge £12/£13 + for a small breakfast, you gotta back it up with some quality :( My sausages were pink in the middle and you charged me £5.99 for a potion of chips on the side. £20 plus service charge for a very average breakfast with a can of coke - sometimes you want a fry up in a nicer setting - but your better off just going to a standard builders cafe. Turkey bacon I swapped with sausage - but seriously, turkey bacon? The sausages (apart from being undercooked) weren’t even premium type sausages either. Eggs were done very well to be fair, and I like how your bagels are bakery style - the only saving grace but not enough. Staff were nice enough. But wouldn’t go again or recommend. Felt a bit robbed - feel bad leaving this review but I hope this will help improve the offering - as too many places are charging ‘London prices’ because they can, but not backing it up with any quality, thought, or real substance.

I’ve been there today in the morning and feel very welcomed . Nice place to stop for coffee and croissant on the way to work. Friendly staff with smiles on their faces. I can recommend to everyone go there.

I’ve been to Ronnie’s a few times, but I’m finally done with this place. The manager's behavior is beyond unacceptable. She's incredibly rude, not only to the staff but also to customers, which creates such a hostile environment. You can feel the tension the moment you walk in, and it completely ruins the atmosphere. It’s definitely not a cozy or comfortable place to relax or have a good time. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a pleasant experience.

I came in yesterday to Roni s Bakery For a cup of coffee ☕️ It was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly I have been going to Roni s Bakery for years I will be back again soon

Coffee was nice but I would give the bakery a miss.. tiramisu was too dry and had a mountain of cocoa powder on it.

Good food, small place little cramped especially when pushchairs brought in.

I took a very small croissant from the plate - there was no price there and it looked like this is an offer for degustation. Then I went to a cashier to order a drink and she asked me very rudely if I took a piece from the plate and ate it. I said yes and asked if it was for degustation. She said that I had to pay and I had to ask before I took a piece. I felt embarrassed. I don’t mind to pay for this but she said it very rudely - I don’t believe I want to return to this place again.

Fabulous not living in London anymore so it's such a treat to buy hot bagels and chopped liver

The best coffee ever creamy and delicios

It was my first time trying Israeli food and I loved it... I've tried shakshuka, carrot juice and an almond croissant... Everything was delicious. The shakshuka is a little bit spicy and most times I don't like spicy food at all... Fortunately this time it was different, the dish was very tasty.

This is a lovely Bagel bar in Hampstead. The staff were very accommodating and the food my wife and I had was tasty and freshly made.

Love the selection of food, with some of my favourites (bagel, pretzel, even herring). Cute and unpretentious atmosphere.

I bought challah bread and ginger cookie today. When I order ginger cookie, one staff didn’t understand my word, and I repeated “one ginger cookie, please” politely. But she looked at me rudely and she just reached her arm holding cookie to my friend, so my friend had to aproach to her and received the cookie. We were embarrassed. The challa bread was normal, but it isn’t worthy. The ginger cookie is just ginger and flour taste. I will never visit again.

We stopped at random, the place is charming and the welcome was very pleasant. We enjoyed an English breakfast. Great value for money. I recommend.

My daughter has recently been involved in a freak blender accident that has led her to be bed bound and uncommunicative for months. In a last ditch effort I resolved to take her to Roni's Baker in Hampstead, the moment a drop of that vanilla iced oat latte touched her lips she discarded every bandage and cast she had on and smiled for the first time in 7 weeks! This was quickly followed by cries of joy over her granola bowl due to the perfect pairing of honey and yogurt. Thank you Roni's for saving my child from a lifetime of misery and seclusion

Brilliant food excellent service would recommend to anyone. Love it here so much. Perfect place for Anniversary meal. I could not fault the food.

Great place for an indulgent treat and coffee. A good selection of pastries and cakes. I had the cheesecake and coffee and wasn't disappointed.

A small bakery/cafe serving very nice coffee, breakfasts, light meals and tasty selection of baked goods. They can get busy, but early morning is often quietest as they do a lot of deliveries. Polite friendly and clean.

Fast service but the wine was terrible and the shakshuka incredibly disappointing with zero seasoning (not even salt!) and a soggy egg. Would not go again.

Popular cafe in Hampstead village. Good vibe, nice music, interesting crowd. Always busy on the weekends. Nice quality pastry, although on a pricy side, also decent coffee. Service was kind and friendly, also not obstructive.

this place has completely gone downhill. They've changed the quality of the bagles, and they want nearly a fiver for a tuna bagel. Service is now a complete joke . After years of going out my way to get my bagles, I will look for somewhere else .Shame

Met a friend here for coffee and cake. Loved the little Belsize Park square fairy lights and community vibe. And the cafe mirrored the warm welcome. We chose cakes from the bakery area, enjoyed coffees and received smiling service. They even gave us a little box of cakes as we left when they knew we were celebrating a birthday. Absolutely loved it and look forward to next time I'm in the area. Thank you guys xx

Delicious food in general. Unfortunately, attention to detail is missing. The service is a bit chaotic and uncoordinated. I also wasn't impressed that although I ordered the salt beef on rye bread I got it on white bread. When I flagged this with the waiter he insisted it was rye bread. It clearly wasn't (see picture) but I didn't want to pick a fight over this. Roni's, you can do better...

For 2 bagels and 2 coffees we paid almost 30£, it's not ok, the server should have told us there's a salad on the plate but instead sold another one, she also didn't listen that one dish should have been without bread and just egg. Not great service and too expensive.

Fab food and location. Hope to return soon.

They make the best cannolis I've ever eaten

After lunch in Dim T, we fancied coffee and cakes somewhere else, so came across Roni's. Very busy which was a good sign. Might be a bit too noisey for some. Managed to get a table inside. Shared a black forest type gateau with my son, and it was delicious. Far too much for one person, but splitting between two was fine. My wife had a Canolli which she said was excellent. Had a Cappucinno, an Americano, and a mixed berry smoothie as well. All good and total was £21.03.

I have never tried the restaurant but I pick-up bagels from here and they are fantastic! It is the only place in London I have found with "everything bagels", a staple in North America but have never found them in London! They are great. A bit expensive but worth it.

Food safety rating is only 3 no wonder we had such a bad time. Swains lane worse. Really worrying safety standards

Friendly service and helpful staff. Stopped by for a quick bite and a warm drink to accompany a brisk walk. It's unlikely you'll be disappointed. The place was buzzing with activity and patrons we're enjoying their breakfast. The bagel that I ordered was tasty — toasted with cream cheese. The faux pas was using a cold premade bagel from the display case to fulfill the order. Toasting it merely burnt the outside of the bagel without heating the interior. Given this is also a bakery, I would have appreciated a fresh toasted bagel with cream cheese added thereafter. Small yet consequential details detracting from a higher rating.

I can't believe the good reviews here, honestly the staff is clearly unhappy to work here. They seems trying but I noticed that the people are often changing and from what I saw seems a toxic place to work which reflect on the service.

This place used to be excellent, but it has changed. The service today was appalling - the waitresses have a ‘can’t be bothered’ attitude - the one making my coffee sneezed in it! The food served - omelette and potato’s was so full of oil I could not eat it. Sad to see what was once a really great place with great food and friendly staff has now turned to barely mediocre - I strongly do not recommend.

Terrible experience. Waited absolutely ages to find out our order had been forgotten, and there was no apology or anything. We then heard shouting from the kitchen and decided that it would be best to leave. So disorganised and unhelpful, I bet the staff haven’t even noticed we left. Don’t waste your time on this deceiving place as it looks promising from the street.

Went to this cafe on Boxing Day as this was the only place that’s been open that day. The seating area is quite small, thus we’ve opted for a takeaway. The staff seemed to be in a rush, yet we still had to wait a long time for our coffee. Bagels with salmon and cream cheese were tasty but rather small. Overall, it’s great that Roni’s was open on a bank holiday but I would probably not be back here if I had a choice

Slowest service ever, not comparable with Roni’s West Hampstead..

I was overall not impressed. The cafe looked very welcoming and it caught my eye. However, it took 50 minutes from the moment they sat me down to when i received my hot drink and jacket potato. The hot chocolate was good and therefore I’ve given 2 stars. However, the jacket potato portion was small and took too long. The service is awful, they served someone who got there after me, they forgot my order, i had to ask 3 times about my food and was promised it wouldn’t take long. I was not happy at all.

Good food. Seating could be better, but standard for this neighbourhood. Good for a light brunch.

I ordered a salt beef bagel to take away. The beef was cold and was kind of wet and incredibly chewy - like the texture of raw meat. Ugh! I took it out completely and just ate a plain bagel with pickles. I realise it was not raw but was not the slow cooked melting texture of good salt beef. Really disappointed. Definitely won't ever go back.

Good food and pastries. Belsize Village branch is much better for service and staff attitude. Update: service much improved at this branch. Food as good as ever.

Great food, can get busy during peak times

The bakery is really good and has nice Challa, bagels and rougelach. However the restaurant is terrible. The service is really bad. You’re mostly ignored and they forgot to bring our drinks. They served us madbucha which had gone bad, the shakshuka was tasteless and the hummus not good either.

It's a bit pricey. But what do you expect in desirable Hampstead?? Coffee is good.

I am a regular customer of Ronis and lives locally .Today I must informed Mr Ronis that you have a Very friendly and hard working Staff , delicious food, and cafe but manger is incredibly rude to staff, and biased against some customer, she often tells her staff off in front customers-

The order is always incorrect & one of the girls who serves is soooo very rude …. Definitely would not recommend…. My Sunday ruined by how completely off hand she was

Roni's Hampstead provided the food for our garden party last weekend. It was perfect: salmon and a variety of salads, followed by fruit platters. All fresh and of the highest quality. The guests loved it and so did we. Nicole was exceptionally helpful and flexible as we changed our minds about what to serve, and helped enormously in getting the order completed on time . I could not recommend Roni's Hampstead more highly if you have an event to cater.

Fantastic service, super fresh food and really nice vibe. Grear for sitting outside in the summer having lunch with friends and people-watching. Their tuna salad and chopped chicken Caesar salad are superb - very fresh, generous portions and such good value for money Big shout our to the lovely waitresses who were so attentive and speedy. Best place for eating and what a great staff always so kind

It was chaos on the afternoon we visited as it was a very hot sunny Saturday, so when we finally got to order our 2 take out pitta sandwiches we were warned it would take a while. The guy on the till was very polite and friendly, apologetic for the wait and asked us to take a seat while we waited. He then followed up why we hadn’t received our food after 10 mins. No complaint at all on service, the sandwiches were lovely, fresh and worth the wait .Good variety of bottled drinks and reasonably priced.

1 no difference from feta to chicken cubes visually in the display salads and no description ...so easy to be confused if your a vegetarian looking at the salads..ie all vegetarian except for the chicken cubes mixed in with vegetables..basically all mixed up with no advise or labels. My partner was sick and really upset that she ate meat after 30 years and the boss couldn't care less ..look at the photo ..thats chicken not feta

The food is average at best. The shaksuka is tasteless. And it’s way overpriced. The cake section is disappointing.

Did not have a good experience here. Had to wait 10 minutes for tap water and even longer for food. Completely overpriced for really skimpy portions. The bread was sliced so thinly it was falling apart and was barely filled with anything. We left feeling really hungry and scammed. Not sure if this was one off but very disappointed and big waste of money :(

Their bagels are good but the customer service atrocious. I was standing in front of the till today with a 3 year old waiting to pay and I was totally ignored by 3 staff members. They didn't even acknowledge my presence. They didn't even say Hi and politely ask me to wait a few moments and then apologised for the delay. They all looked very grumpy, as if almost forced to be there... Very bad experience and they are not cheap by far.

Awful service - weren’t even acknowledged when we walked in. Didn’t receive all our breakfast as menu states jam and a bread basket and we received a few pieces of toast on the tray with dips and no jam in sight. Pastries were gorgeous but again we ordered a breakfast for two and got 3 small bite size pastries between us! Coffee weak too- generally a pretty disappointing experience. Won’t be going back.

Really horrible experience, my cup had someone else's lipstick on it and the coffee was burnt. Coffee and a biscuit was over £6 which felt like a made up price. Really better avoid this one

Don’t bother there’s better food elsewhere. Been coming here for years. Today chose the artichoke salad. Served a huge bowl full of green lettuce. Few artichokes from a jar. Loads of walnuts that it. Lemon olive oil dressing absolutely tasteless how much lettuce can one eat. I left half of lettuce in bowl as felt sick. Told the waitress who told management she came back to say I ate most of it nothing she can do. I said I forced myself to just eat artichokes & walnuts she didn’t want to know. The manageress ignored us. Will not return after this. Go elsewhere in the high street better tasting food

this place used to do a good range of pastries it is supposedly a bakery but now has very limited selection . Besides that the two servers were the rudest waiting staff ever !! First the girl walked off to take a phone call while I was asking her something without so much as an ' excuse me '. Then a young chap approached he's a tall but stocky swarthy looking guy . His attitude was stinking he was so obnoxious like he has no interest whatsoever in serving customers . A few doors up is new Planet Organic where they do cakes pastries coffees etc and they DO know about customer service !

Guess I was unlucky coz the rest of the reviews are good, but the quality of a jacket potato I just purchased here is below average. It tasted and looked gross, the potato itself, not the filling. Hopefully better luck next time as place looked like the food would be great.

Awful pancakes today. Dry and clearly not fresh. Rock hard! Sat outside and service atrocious. Do not put tables outside if you do not want to serve this section.

Used to be really good. Food is very average now. And it took an hour to get some eggs and a bagel from ordering. Cafe up the road does it in 5 mins and it’s nicer. Very busy deliveroo service though so at least they are making money from takeaway as they neglect the people that eat in. Waitress was very very nice and not her fault the kitchen is rubbish.
