UPDATE: I received a notification from Google and was reminded I left this review a year ago. In response to their reply I sent an email back then but received no reply to rectify the bad service. Hopefully it’s improved since I went :) I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the customer service. I heard great things about the restaurant and booked in with 4 of my friends for a stag do. Upon arrival we weren’t even greeted with so much as a smile or even a simple “hello”. Just shown to a table in the corner. The restaurant was cold and had a broken light in the toilet. I wouldn’t usually complain or leave a bad review but the waitress that served us was beyond rude… To the point where she got angry at us for not knowing exactly what we wanted straight away. After we were made to rush our orders she came over with the wrong starters. When we told her they weren’t ours she insisted that they were and got annoyed with us. There wasn’t even an apology when she realised she was wrong. When we got our food and drinks everything was (practically) slammed down onto the table and we all felt nervous to ask for things that were missing. The food itself was okay but the starters were well overpriced. After we finished our meals I spoke to the manager (who was actually lovely and very understanding) and she explained that there have been on going issues with members of staff. It was so bad the table next to us complained about the same issues. It quite simply isn’t a cheap restaurant so terrible customer service is completely unacceptable. Despite receiving a small discount it didn’t matter as the whole experience was awkward and ruined a special occasion.

Ordered from Rosa’s Thai via Uber Eats last night and was shocked to find that the chicken satay skewers were barely cooked and completely raw inside. Unfortunately, I only noticed after eating half of one skewer. This isn’t just a mistake—it’s a serious health risk. I’m baffled as to how something like this could leave the kitchen. To make matters worse, my attempts to address the issue have been ignored by both Uber Eats and Rosa’s Thai’s Instagram page. Extremely disappointing customer service for such a dangerous oversight.

I've not eaten in yet but the takeaway has always been delicious and, importantly, well packaged for travel.

Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai dish and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the chilli oil/dressings in the table that enhances the flavour of the dish. The service was okay, friendly staff but sometimes was hard to get their attention. Overall, good vibes, I’m excited to come back and try more dishes.

Celebrated birthday here, not happy very dead service nothing special. Won’t be visiting again.

The staff were super lovely and attentive.

The food was authentic, aromatic and tasted generally excellent (spicy here means really spicy). The portions were absolutely ok in size. The atmosphere is very modern and doesn't really remind you of classic Thai restaurants - but it's a nice contrast. The service was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the drinks sometimes took a little longer. All in all, a clear recommendation and I would eat here again at any time.

Atmosphere is the best thing of this restaurant, especially when you want to chat with your friends. The lighting and decoration are lovely. I didn’t expect much for food as this is a chain restaurant so some can be hit or miss. The chicken noodle in clear soup is delicious but som tum (papaya salad) and Tom kha gai are way too sweet! Service is just so-so as it was hard to get anyone attention.

This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was served by the manager, Holly, whose rudeness was shocking. When I tried to share my concerns, instead of any kind of apology or understanding, I was just met with cold questioning. It was clear there was no care or respect for what I was going through. AVOID!

Very tasty and great atmosphere

Service wasn't great. Had to prompt staff a few times. Adding 12% service is a cheek imo. Up to me what service I want to pay. The website menu had more options so disappointed when looked through the menu.

Visited early to beat the crowds, ahead of Peter Kay gig. Seated straight away. Delicious food as usual, and decent prices, especially when Bluelight Card discount is applied.

Legit one of the nicest Thai red curries I’ve ever had

I can't believe this place has got so many good reviews. Tom kha soup was gloopy in texture, very sweet, no subtlety of flavour. The noodles were very thick tagliatelle type ones some of which had stuck together during cooking so there were undercooked lumps. Chicken included some skin and stringy bits. Chicken satay was OK, but far from being great. The satay sauce was not very tasty. Maybe we just picked the wrong dishes, but very disappointing food.

Nice and delicious asian food!! absolutely golden touch with the prepararion of the menu. As a gem of Manchester center, is always busy and full that i decided to bring home some of these lovely flavours. The staff bring such a lovely service with a beautiful smiles on their faces 😊😍 You guys should try this amazing restaurant 😋❤️

Everything at Rosas Thai was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, every bite was better than the last. The service was outstanding—quick and super attentive. Rosas Thai is such a great find! Everything tastes amazing, leaving you wanting to come back for more. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, perfect for enjoying a meal with good company. The paintings on the wall… well, they almost distract you from how delicious the food is. Definitely coming back!

Yet again lovely food and service slightly trained by the £5 service charge that was put on the bill. The waitress said it was a choice wether to remove it from the Bill but it was very awkward so I just left it on. The Bill was only £40 .

Niamh and Holly provided excellent service for me and my friends. Would recommend and definitely coming back!

The food is very delicious.. The cashew chicken 👍🏻 and the fried rice with shrimp is something amazing 👍🏻 The tom yum soup is also special 👍🏻 We ate there twice, God willing

The yummiest food ever that’s a given but my favorite part of nipping in for my fave takeaway is always Holly!!🩷 I would give the service 1000 stars if I could , she always looks after us and makes us feel so comfortable and sorts us out right away , the food is always good but holly and the service is why we keep coming back !!

Wali was incredible! Looked after me with my celiac disease! Went above and beyond to check in ingredients. Took feedback on about menus being removed for gluten free yet being accredited by celiac society. Also allowed for me to taste the wine before trying! Reasonably priced. Food - always go for pad Thai but on this particularly occasion just wasn’t as some for some reason. Minimal veggies and tofu and something missing in the taste of the sauce but nonetheless still tasty just not 5/5 but always thankful to be looked after where allergens are concerned. Big thanks to wali though.

Super friendly and fast service, waited less than 5 minutes to receive our food! So many vegetarian and vegan options too. Would absolutely recommend for date night or larger groups!

Every time I come to Rosa’s, I can’t ask for a better experience. The food is always made to high standards, and the waiters are always so lovely and attentive ! Holly especially takes her time to chat to you and recommends the best dishes. She then ensures the rest of the night runs smoothly. We’re not left waiting around after each course as the waiters are keeping their eye out. All the staff have definitely impressed me! Good authentic food in a nice environment :)

Rosa's has very friendly staff Holly and Aaron in particular went out of there way to make sure my experience and the restaurant was perfect. Food is incredible and very authentic, I would recommend the tamarind duck.

The food from Rosas is always so tasty! The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is amazing and the portions are a great size. They offer a great choice of vegan / plant based options too. Highly recommend for families, couples and friends. It’s in a great location too.

I had a wonderful experience at Rosa’s with the lunchtime deal in particular. The Pad See Ew was on of the best I’ve ever had, and our waitress Holly was incredibly efficient and accommodating, even offering us a complimentary ice cream (which was also delicious!!). The atmosphere is lovely, the interiors are beautiful and its a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal for a decent price. I could not recommend enough <3

Really enjoyed the chilli basil stir fry last night.🍛 🙌🏽 The spicy level of the food definitely lived up to the taste.

We came here as a party of 7 with 2 late arrivals. We got seated straight away and the waiter came to ask us for drinks a little after we sat down but then there was nothing for a full 45 minutes with nobody checking on us or anything. After we ordered the food came quick and it was actually really nice. The fried aubergine dish is their special and it was delicious - extremely spicy though! Everyone around the table enjoyed their food 😊 afterwards we waited again for quite some time for the table to be cleaned and had to nudge someone for the bill - twice. Overall it was a good meal with fair prices
