The young girl that served us was lovely... We went in for carvery, orderd a small plate, only to be told it was only for chilldern or OAP'S.. you should make that clear before people sit down!. Instead I orderd a side ov macaroni, wich was tasteless, and lookd like a bowl of slop.. My partner had the burger, he couldn't finish it, he said it was vile. When I asked them to take the macaroni off the bill, they weren't happy about it. Thy didn't realise i was stoop behind them, so I heard everything that was said about me too.... Overall the place looks lovely, but the food is shockingly basic, with some seriously rude staff.. We will NOT be going back...

Going to concert. Busy day as lights were being turned on too. Could get a table here. And it was great. The choice for gluten free was excellent. Fantastic salad bowl.

When we went to go get food, it said on google maps it was open and it wasn’t. My mum went to go get food while I stayed in the car and she said that 3 dogs were about to jump on her, there were bin bags everywhere and it looked very dirty and it looked like it was permanently closed so

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! We stumbled on this place by accident when trying to find a good view of Stalker Castle. We decided to pop in this little pub for a pint but little did we know how special this place is. We arrived a bit before dinner service was starting so we chatted with the host and she gave us the run down of the place - it's history, the food, etc. Luckily we were able to get a table and WOW the food was delicious. I had the stake and fries and my wife had the home made tagliatelle pasta with beef - both of which were great. We followed that with sticky toffee pudding and it was the best we had over our two week trip. It is one of those experiences we will remember for a very long time.
