Rosy Lee in Eastbourne

Excellent , kind , caring , good atmosphere!! clean , good service , friendly staff! quick easy to understand menu ?? lovely clean toilets. Good value!!

What a fabulous cafe.The waiting staff and chef have it spot on.Hot,well presented and perfectly cooked breakfast.Will be returning to try the home cooked lunches soon.Very reasonably priced.Toilet was spotless.The bacon and Brie toastie needs to become permanent not just on special board…it was delicious.

I am regular here, but the quality just seems to be getting better and better. The food is excellent, well cooked and good value. Every ingredient is quality. Bubble and squeak is highly recommended. The staff and the owners Kevin and Dee are lovely, the atmosphere is relaxed and there is always plenty of parking nearby .

Run and cooked by Dee and Kevin, this cafe has been going as long as I remember! I had a small breakfast with extra bubble . Well presented with the beans kept separate from the hash browns and bubble.The chipolata was butchers quality and tasty as was the bacon. The only reason I gave it 4/5 was the price. (£8.00+bubble) All in all an excellent quality breakfast. Yea and toast included.

Had a fabulous breakfast with bubble and squeak . The best hash browns I have ever had lovely . Nice tea too. The bubble had corn in it, my partner does not usually eat corn but he ate that. I really enjoyed it too.

A proper cafe serving proper food. Breakfast is a joy, lovely black pudding, not at all greasy. One of the best in Eastbourne. Spotlessly clean and great service.

It’s ok apart from the lads on the table next to us who were very load with not so nice language. We had to wait 30 mins for food even though they were not busy. Sorry won’t be back.

Massively disappointed. Today was strike three. Previously I was told they couldn't make an omelette because they were busy. Last time the bacon was cremated and toast cold before it reached the table and this time the soft poached eggs I requested were rock solid and they forgot to put the bacon on my plate. In addition they tried to charge me only £1 less than the normal amount despite me not having the two sausages and two black pudding I ha e had in the past. When I mentioned this, and the eggs, the apology was terse at best. Sorry, but I can no longer recommend this with such erratic quality.

Never had a bad experience in this café, great staff, best breakfast in Eastbourne and delicious pies, all home-made, along with lots of other traditional café food, even open on Sundays until 1 pm, and great value for money, I think it’s the best café in town, and well worth a run down Seaside Road!

This is a really great café, one of my favourites anywhere! The service is really friendly, a real home from home feeling. Everything is cooked fresh, and to order, I normally go for breakfasts, the bacon and sausages are great quality, portion sizes are generous, and it’s great value for money. The breakfasts are so good but sometimes I try other items such as the home-made pie which is particularly good and also really satisfying comfort food such as Welsh Rarebit. Lovely home-made crumbles for pudding - all in all a true traditional cafe with good quality home-cooked food.

I have to say every time I visit Rosy Lee cafe I am always impressed with the quality of the food. Not only that but it is served by friendly kind staff who are really interested in their customers. There is a wide selection of all day breakfasts sandwiches snacks and main meals as well as a delicious list of desserts most of which I have to stay clear off, lol. No request it is too difficult for them to deal with, and the place is very welcoming. If you can't get parked right outside you can usually get part in one of the adjacent side streets which are close by. Thank you Kevin and Dee for making the Rosy Lee experience a great one. I would just had that I stumbled across this place having been somewhere else just the other side of the Tesco's roundabout naming no names, but it is on a little present in which there is very little parking. My experience there was totally different. Staff work rude unwelcoming and their approach to charging was downright greedy. But boy am I pleased that is the case because it enabled me to find the Rosy Lee cafe. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very nice breakfast at the Rosy Lee Cafe today. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. They also have an alcohol license so somewhere a bit different for a brunch and a cheeky glass of wine?

I went with someone in a wheelchair. There's a tiny step to enter but a lightweight ramp stored directly inside for easy access. We were then seated at a table easy for transfer & waited on. The food is excellent, plentiful & sensibly priced, the environment clean & bright & the atmosphere welcoming & helpful. I greatly look forward to returning.

We received a lovely welcome when we visited The Cafe from the owner , the quality of the food and the wonderful service are to be admired. We both went for the Medium breakfast from the menu which when it arrived in good time was pipping hot and all ingredients had been freshly cooked to order , great quality products on the plate cooked to order what more could you want? I highly recommend this family business if you are in the area and look forward to our next visit.

There is a warm and friendly greeting every time we visit. The food is top quality and the prices are extremely reasonable. The owners are very accommodating and there is a speedy service. We travel several miles to eat here and we have enjoyed it every time

Visited Rosy Lee several times over last 2 weeks. It always seems to be busy so expect maybe 10-15 mins for your order and maybe a little longer at the breakfast or lunchtime rushes - but definitely worth the wait. First of all the food is great, delicious well cooked cafe food - greasy spoon without the grease for breakfast… homemade bubble is fab. Lunchtime specials are fantastic. One of the best steak pies I’ve ever had and great fish options on Fridays Next - the service is so friendly, all are made to feel so welcome, it’s the best café I’ve been to in the area, and beyond!

Having previously used the Cafe for Breakfast & Lunch, we decided to visit the Rosy Lee for their first evening service on 9th September. We received a warm welcome & it was great to see a number of other customers present. We had a party of 5 & the evening menu catered for all of our tastes. The food was excellent & the service was first class. With an option of 2 or 3 courses available + an upgrade option to a Fillet Steak - it offered excellent value for money. Our party enjoyed the evening & would throughly recommend a visit - we will back soon.

We decided to pop in to the Rosy Lee for lunch. Whilst we know from previous experience the breakfasts are great, we decided to have one of the specials today - the Steak, Onion & Guiness Pie. This came with Roast Potatoes & a selection of vegetables with gravy. It was really tasty & the service was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend this cafe & will be returning very soon!

Went there today and I am a very fussy eater I asked for breakfast to be well done and that what they did it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had nothing was too much trouble for them very pleasant atmosphere and staff definitely recommend

stopped in at this cafe not to long after the new owners took over first off when you go in you are welcomed into a nice well looked after cafe with a very warm welcome from staff the service we got was brilliant and the food was lovely a short wait for food even with quiet a few people in the cafe also very reasonable prices I shall definitely be going back with the family.
