Roundhill Restaurant in Brighton and Hove

The Round House is a superb place and the new menu is second to none and staff are out of the top draw especially Bella.

So delicious, we ordered the whole menu and every dish was so good. I know they are thinking of changing the concept and I really hope you don’t, I will definitely come again and I know lots of people who want to try it and haven’t had a chance to get there yet! Such a good new restaurant to the Brighton scene. Great service by Jake as well.

Thank you so much Kokadama. . We had a wonderful afternoon with you yesterday. Your charming manager could not have been more lovely, and the waiter (sorry I didn't get their names!). The food was exceptional, so fresh, different and very well received but the whole party of 9, only 2 of which were vegetarian and aged 25 to 80. The desserts were also gorgeous, my vegan ice cream was none the less fur having no cream and others had the chocolate and pears and were delighted. It was the perfect venue for our family lunch to celebrate my step son's engagement, we were in the courtyard which was bright and the decor and furniture were stylish and comfortable. Lovely linen and cutlery. .it really was perfect. Will definitely come again when we are in Brighton. Thank you and long may you continue.

Amazing food. The satay mushrooms were incredible!! One of us ate from the set menu (at a very reasonable £15 pounds for 3 dishes) and then we also selected some other dishes to share. Highly recommend.

Diverse meals and plates made us feel like being kids with many candies in front of us. Dishes are tasty and George and his hospitality was beyond 5 stars !

What a joy! An absolutely amazing choice of dishes that we’re all delicious. As there were four of us, we tried them all!! Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Don’t hesitate - go and treat yourselves.

Visited the restaurant for the first time this week and had a great meal. We enjoyed sharing small plates and there was a really good selection to choose from. We especially enjoyed the charred leeks and the shallots with toum, which was silky smooth. Every dish was well cooked and full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and we would definitely return.

An all-round fantastic place. Amazing, diverse selection of small plates (all delicious), unique cocktail choices and friendly, attentive staff as the cherry on top. You won't be disappointed.

My wife decide that we should try this vegetarian small plates restaurant on a visit to Brighton. Being a seasoned meat eater I questioned the restaurant selection thinking I would come out hungry and uninspired. How wrong could I have been, we both agreed it was the best food we had eaten in a long time. With the help of our fabulous waiter we picked an array of dishes (we both loved the corn fritters) all very different and delicious. I would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for something a little bit different to the norm especially those meat eaters out there. This is my first ever review but felt I had to say something in recognition of the great meal.

We came upon this restaurant by chance. It was quite late on a Saturday night. We were told their kitchen was shortly closing but they could accommodate us. A friendly waitress helped us with our choices, since we're not familiar with vegan gourmet food. Their dishes consist of small portions to share and they recommend five dishes. Everything was exquisite and beautifully presented. Our only criticism is that not all the dishes arrived at the same time. We were full afterwards - surprisingly - since the portions were small. It also felt surprisingly intimate in the middle of a lively squarte. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I cannot fault this establishment. Excellent central location with chic outside dining in the square. Pretty tableware. Fancy plating in a rainbow of colours. Delicious and creative dishes with ingredients I've never tried before that days later I'm still thinking about. Professional, friendly, and helpful staff. And I think excellent value considering the very high standard of the cooking and quality of ingredients. I've been to plenty of small plate restaurants where the bill makes you wince, but we were stuffed and even with a cocktail it was very reasonable. I've already recommended it to friends and family. Hopefully it won't be too long til I'm back in Brighton and can go again!

Amazing food and such variety. All vegan which is such a treat. Good wine list too. Service was good, not amazing but it was a busy Friday night after all.

What can I say . I’m not a vegan but ate here for a vegan friends birthday and it’s one of the best meals Ive had in a long time . Vegan small plates we actually picked every dish in the menu . Everything was exceptional, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. This experience has definitely got me thinking more about the possibilities of vegan cooking and eating . Service was outstanding our waitress Lia was brilliant . The food comes out as and when but you get a nice break as you would if you had a tasting menu . Never felt rushed . I definite 5 * review. This certainly ups the vegan food game .

Absolutely incredible eatery. Stunning variety of small plates, lovely surroundings both indoors and out, and an extensive drinks list. The food was OUTSTANDING. The chefs catered to our request to have a dish that wasn’t on the normal menu. The food came out in good time and each dish had an entirely unique and tasty fingerprint. My personal favourite was the satay mushrooms with a cherry jus (inspired by PB&J). Big shout out to Amy and Claire who were fantastic and helpful hosts!

We had the most delicious lunch here yesterday for our Daughter’s graduation. We wanted somewhere new and special and Kokedama was spot on. We could even sit outside with shade. We were served by the lovely Amy and Clare who couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. We tried all the main dishes and loved them all but for me the chickory and candied walnuts was outstanding. The flavours are just so good.

Excellent evening with friends, fantastic food, service was brilliant and the cocktails are a thing of beauty! Highly recommend, even if you’re not vegan because you will be pleasantly surprised

Fabulous night, delicious vegan (and gluten free in my case) small plates food. Great atmosphere, decor and service. Part of the award winning Roundhill (Ditchling Road) group. Thankfully now arrived in central Brighton. Can’t wait for my next visit. Welcome to Brighton!
