Heard a lot about this place and found it above my expectations in the taste of Afghani food. Just yuuuum and finger-licking food. Pilau with fine trim j carrots and raison and the accuracy of broth in Pilau rice can't resist mouth-watering taste. Ribs meat portion was balance cooked the kids enjoyed it a lot. Naan bread was presented on the stand. Lamb Karahi was reasonably priced and the taste of special tomatoes was unforgettable. Very economical mango Lassi jug. Each penny I spent was worthfull. Since 2 years in Britain 🇬🇧 first time enjoyed real Afghani foodi experience.

Very nice and delicious food, just would remind you the taste of Shinawari Jamrood or Peshawar. Food is a bit expensive as compare to the local restaurants. Place is small and hard to accommodate 14 ppl on the same area. But overall they are doing good.

We tried the Kabuli Pulao, Coated tikka (Pattay tikkay), and their signature Shinwari curries along with Peshawari chapli kabab,7 every dish was fantastic. The Shinwari curry, in particular, stood out with its tender, slow-cooked meat in a delicate, savory broth. It had a genuine, homemade taste that you can only get with quality ingredients and traditional Afghan cooking techniques. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond. They patiently explained each dish and made us feel completely at home. You could tell they are passionate about sharing Afghan culture and cuisine with their guests. To top it all off, we were served complimentary qahwa (Afghan green tea) with sweet almonds at the end of our meal – a thoughtful touch that left us feeling appreciated and satisfied. Quantity, quality and taste was great but was it authentic? Its debatable. There shouldn’t be any tomato in namkeen Karahi and no masala on namkeen tikka, but taste was good so no complain.

One the most authentic Karahis in Birmingham. People claim to be Karahi specialists but you need to try this one for sure. Order the Charsi Tikka and Charsi Karahi. You will not be disappointed. Book beforehand to avoid waiting. I will be back for more. Great food, even better customer service.
