Rubys at Dundry Garden Nursery is excellent for morning coffee and cakes, lunch or afternoon tea and scones (the full menu is offered all day). We often meet friends there for Sunday lunch. All the hot dishes (casseroles, pies, quiche, fish cakes etc) are home cooked and fruit crumble and custard cannot be bested. Highly recommended.

The food at Ruby's continues to be excellent (Haddock Frittata or Lamb Hotpot last week). I was lucky enough to be there on a trial day for Plum Crumble with custard - yummy. As well as the Garden Nursery, small Charity Shop, and pet shop, there is now a new addition. "The Flea" sells interesting items from house clearance. Worth a visit.

Ruby's is based at Dundry Garden Nursery, and I have visited many times since it opened a year or two ago. It offers excellent cakes, scones, toasties, sandwiches, hot snacks plus a wide range of drinks (hot and cold). The hot food menu changes regularly which is just as well because I would have difficulty choosing between meatballs, lasagne, curry, frittata, fish pie if they were all available. Seating is adjacent to the cafe in the open air, in the garden centre, or in the cafe. Dogs are welcome except in the cafe. There are good dog walks in adjoining fields. It makes a good break for walkers or cyclists - lots of footpaths and lanes in the area. The garden centre is well stocked with plants and garden items, and there is a small shop for the adjacent Butterfly Garden charity (supporting people with disabilities). When meeting friends for Sunday elevenses, Ruby's is our first choice. BEWARE OF THE TRIPADVISOR MAP. The post code works fine on sat-nav, but the map wrongly shows Ruby's in Cheltenham centre rather than in Bamfurlong Lane.

We were very excited to go to the outdoor inn, being a fresh bar to Cheltenham. Unfortunately, as much as the staff seemed friendly.. the managers or owners (not sure) were not… they were rude to people (all be it customers who had had too many drinks!) and seemed arrogant. Drinks prices are okay for Cheltenham, but we feel a little like we wasted a couple of hours going here, where we could have gone elsewhere and quite frankly received better customer service. I wish them well, but I will not be going again and would advise pekoe to only go if they can bank on nice weather, and at a last resort!

Took my children as we had a voucher and re-fell in love with book shops! The staff were super helpful and all of the children got something they spent last night reading. Special bonus / the coffee is great and Polly’s board game recommendation was top drawer. A real reminder of when a website just can’t compare!

Ben was brilliant, food is good and we got plenty of drinks - strawberry daiquiri was on the table constantly which was great! Ben was a brilliant waiter and kept the drinks flowing!!
