Polite staff and amazingly quick with food and well presented waiting area

Food was not nice. Onion baji and naan tasted stale. And never had a chicken chaat like it. Overly tomatoey. Wasn’t nice at all.

The food was disappointing. The onion bhaji and biryani were OK. The Pasanda was watery and fairly tasteless. The Paratha were too thick, spongey and oily with no layers. The only thing I really enjoyed was the poppadoms with mango chutney.

I always rated this as the best Indians. Tonight I received the worst meal ever delivered. Waited 35 minutes after booking time. Lamb Tika was thought full of gristle and swimming in water. Chicken curry was the same £33 went in the bin not fit to eat. Tried to log the complaint via chat on food hub but was 98 in the queue says it all really.Lost a good customer tonight

Madras lamb meat very dry, spice level is good but spice over flavour. No flavour just hot. Vegetable pilau had sweetcorn and some peas and one half potato. Not as good as Barbuchi, as they have full veg in rice and have flavour not just heat in their dishes

Hands down best takeaway in Wallsend, food is always perfect.

Well a have to say that yous are very exspensive these days a forgot to order a curry sauce and I was charged another £17 quid taking the total over 40 quid av been ordering from yous for 30 odd years but I will not be back

alot of water and grease off the kebab meat in the box which meant the chips were soggy. food was quiet bland to be honest. wasn't awful but we just didn't enjoy it. 😫

Ordered a takeaway after a hard week at work however was very disappointed with it, very substandard phoned up to discuss our issue and the response was do you want us to send the rest of the meal now.

I ordered a takeaway on just eat from Ruchita, really quick delivery but I was missing a nan, I phoned them and I had barely sat down to my food when they were at the the door with the rest of my order, top top service from a top takeaway, Ruchita have been in the same place for as long as I can remember and have always been one of the best Indian takeaways around, and no wonder with such good service, cracking spicy hot food too, keep it up guys

yet another disgusting meal from ruchita tandoori, this is the third time we've had stale undercooked reheated chips and this time the chicken smells rotten and rancid. To top it all off it was stone cold, we used to order three times a week but the standard is getting worse everytime we order now. absolutely disgusting. at 22 pound a go its not cheap, never again.

The worst butter chicken we have ever had. Waste of money.

Very happy with delivery time but the recommended chicken joi purée was 2/3rd oil. It went straight in the bin. We managed to salvage some to show just eat for a refund. The oil in the meal would have filled a small container. Not edible whatsoever

Great tasty food and excellent service

Food was quite bland. Disappointing as had some great curry’s from here in the past. £5 delivery fee also a bit of a joke.

Not ordered for a good few months, this food was quite tasteless and the coconut korma looked like sick. Chicken tikka was tasteless as was the tikka nan bread. Very disappointing won’t order again. I’m not normally a critical person, but on this occasion I could not let it slide. Don’t know if they have changed hands since I last ordered but quality not as good as it used to be.

Second time I’ve been fed dog food off these first time was food poisoning pure bowl of water for a curry went straight in the bin offered to send another bowl of water when I rang you don’t make curry from a tap not risking food poisoning again off them

Some of the worst Indian food I’ve ever had me and my girlfriend have just ordered food from here. Chicken korma was bland and I even found hairs in it! Would not recommend to anyone.

the chips are nice, but the curries themselves are watery with no flavour, the Sri Lanka curry is watery with heat but again no flavour. the garlic nan is soaking wet with garlic on top. this is my first time here and by far the worst curries I've had in a long time. will not be back

Terrible delivery. From being notified the food had left the restaurant it took 30 minutes to be delivered. Same last weekend. Won’t order from here again

50 quid for poppadoms, mango chutney a naan some rice and 2 curries which tasted the same more or less is extortion, all together a expensive bland experience made worse by the fact I've woken up with stomach ache.

The food was amazing as usual & thanks for the extra nan bread too have ordered here for years and never disappoints claire

Ordered the mix rice with a dansak sauce, the rice was packed with a great variety of meats eas very tasty 100% recommended. And the dansak sauce was cooked to my preference perfectly spicy just how I like it. And it was very generous with the pineapple. Def be Ordering again.

Food again really really tasty. Tried the butter chicken, my partner really enjoyed it. Not my cup of tea just due to the almonds in it and I like a bit of spice personally. The staff are always lovely and friendly when going to collect xx

Ordered a lamb biryani came on time, piping hot. Tasted amazing, definitely getting again as the lamb was cooked to perfection. Was very surprised that the vegetable sauce was that large, great value as everywhere else it is not even half the size, highly recommended ordering from here.

Favourite Indian takeaway ever.

Basmati rice was missing from the Vegetable Mossalla, also said it had been delivered about 10-15 minutes before it actually was. Food was decent, but to pay £9 for a veggie curry with no rice is a bit steep

First time getting a Ruchita and I think it's going to be our new favourite! Food is absolutely delicious. Naans are fresh and tasty. Chicken tikka flavourful and tender. Lovely stuff

Ordered food via Uber eats, order was cancelled, I thought it was something I had done some placed order again… order seemed to go through correctly checked on the order about 15 minutes later to see they had cancelled the order again at no point was there any contact to inform us it was cancelled. Couldn’t get them on the phone to find out why they cancelled the order twice. I would not even bother trying to use them again, now without food and an extra 30 minute wait.

I would never give anywhere a bad review so Ruchita gets the 5* as the food was on point however, we did not get what we had ordered so have requested a refund for that 1 dish. Food is always lovely from here! The incorrect order wouldn't put me off ordering again 😊
