a warm welcome and tasty food were exactly what we wanted on a cool morning. The breakfast was lovely and we bought cakes to take away which were amazing. Dog friendly so my spaniel was allowed in to be fussed over. Great little place and I would absolutely recommend a visit.

What a wonderful experience . Great food, excellent service and such a cosy place. Would highly recommend the Safari Narrowboat Tearoom. My 4 year old grandson thought it was marvellous and was very well looked after.

Visited with a friend one afternoon & ordered a toastie & a Bakewell cake as well as a flat white & a decaf coffee. The toastie was OK. The cake was very dry if you had the bits without butter cream. There also wasn't a very distinctive almond flavour. The decaf coffee was of the instant variety & the flat white wasn't as good as others my friend has had. The boat is beautiful & the setting in the marina is lovely. People are really nice too. But overall, what we had was a little disappointing.

Had this on my list for a while to visit. Responded quickly via Facebook message, highly recommended booking. We went Fri lunch time and it was full. Easy to park on the main road and walk through to the marina, great selection of breakfasts, lunch, afternoon teas and more. Food was well presented and very nice.Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating to needs. Great prices compared to other places now. Unusual setting, would be a great gift/ different occasion. Only negative is the outside could do with a freshen up / lick of paint.

Visited this beautiful narrow boat to have breakfast for the first time with my mum and daughter. The breakfast was lovely. We all enjoyed it very much in such a different and cute setting. The owners were very nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend it is something a little different and will certainly return again. Thank you for a lovely morning .

Great quirky, quaint setting on a moored narrow boat. Only seats 12 people so recommend booking in advance to make sure you get a table. Great service, really friendly and polite. We all chose to have the safari afternoon tea: choice of sandwich, crisps, side salad, coleslaw, a meringue with cream, scone with cream and jam, and a large slice of cake, which can be chosen from a small selection. It comes with a tea or coffee or for a small supplement a different drink can be chosen. Everything was well presented and tasty. Good portion size, very filling. Reasonably priced. Would definitely go again and would recommend to others. A really enjoyable experience all round.

After searching on-line within our area of Oldham for a place to have breakfast out for a change, we chose Lilly's Bistro In Ashton u Lyne, located a 10 minute drive away. Really happy with our choice. My wife is gluten intolerant and she'd brought her own GF bread with her in the hope they may agree to toast it, which they kindly did. The breakfast itself was every bit as good as my wife's usual full English ( I'm beingcareful!), with good quality sausages, bacon & black pudding, choice of eggs and crispy, croquet style hash browns, nice toast etc. The cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had. All told 10/10. Definitely our new go to place for a breakfast out treat.
