Saffron Curry in Tamworth

First time here, eating with friends and their young boys and not disappointed. Food was excellent quality. Great service and certainly value for money. Nice bottle of Rioja at a decent price.

Very good micropub about ten minutes walk from Tamworth Railway Station. Four cask beers available when I visited including a milk stout. The pub was formerly a cycle shop and it opened as a licensed premises in 2014. A well-chosen range of around 20 ciders and perries has led to the pub being a finalist in the Campaign for Real Ale's national Cider Pub of the Year competition several times. There is a single ground-floor room and an additional small overspill drinking area upstairs which is generally quieter and more private.

Top class food good portions and great service cheers lads

The food is amazing, so much choice!! I especially liked the Chicken Yaki Udon! Staff were lovely too!
