chicken was ,cold and chewy,there was some sort of mince in my curry butter chicken, witch was not nice as I don't eat mince, chips were good ,rice was a little hard ,,the spicy chicken wasn't spicy at all either ,not the best. personally

Order arrived within given time slot. Food was all very tasty. Maybe rice portion was a bit smaller than from other Indian takeaways but was still well enough.

food was lovely, only disappointment I had , was the size of onion bahji in my mixed kebab, it was rather small. all other takeaway places I've bought from, are a decent size, one bite and it was gone. would have rated higher if it wasn't for that.

Disappointed this time round. Starter was mixed kebab and it was tiny. Chips were far too hard. Paid £2 for a popadom which is way too expensive for what they are, and the dansak didnt have any spice to it. Too overpriced. I will be trying somewhere else.

Driver got lost , went to wrong address & I told him with getting lost my good would be cold . a puny little fella . I’m disabled I asked him for help with something , he refused & more or less waited for me to offer him money . I didn’t like him , not kind at all unless there’s monetary reward . I already paid £3,50 . Food average . Chips poor quality potatoes & I’m still looking for the chicken in the Massala ??? Alishan is better but shutting early

We ordered and didn’t realise our curry wasn’t included in the order because we selected ‘order it again’ on just eat after receiving a 30% discount code on our previous order but saffron sent out our curry in less than 10minutes after receiving our first order so thank you very much, food was still really hot and amazing as always we will always order from here best by far! Thank you guys :) amazing customer service!

Well I thort I already found the perfect Indian meal but after trying saffron I was wrong meal was so nice and tasty everything was well packed and very hot when delivered also thumbs up to the driver well done to all will definitely be ordering again thanks team for a lovely meal 👍

Food and delivery time were spot on, however living in a tower block which there are over 20 in Sunderland for some reason I had to come down from the 8th floor to collect my meal, hardly home delivery and the driver told me its because they aren't insured to come into the building, rubbish, I get mail, parcels and takeaways delivered regularly, £3.50 for delivery and I have to get it myself. Food was good but won't go back

I’ve ordered from Safron, whether via directly on their website, in person on Fulwell Road, over the phone, JUST EAT or UberEat, countless times over the years, but this will be the last: what a disgusting delivery of food; what an affront to an otherwise loyal customer. What a shame.

Onion bahji’s not the best but overall very tasty so will definitely order again.

Driver rang to say he was not allowed to come into the building so I would have to go downstairs to collect it. He said he was not insured… No consideration as whether I was capable of doing this!! What did I pay delivery for if I had to go downstairs to collect it. Also, I ordered vegetable pilau rice but received an extra onion bhaji instead so curry with no rice. I have just moved to this area so not a good first impression. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. I will not

Absalutly the best curry I’ve had in a long time and the all in one box is not in a foil tray it’s in a lovely black plastic lunch box that separates the curry from the chips and rice defo recommend

4 course special. Prawn bhuna and puri to start with lots of prawns 🍤 ❤️ chicken curry and big proper chunky chips with garlic naan. Loads of chicken and gorgeous. Then lots of picky starters so tapas style. Garlic king prawns for starters. Ordered 2 as only get 2 king prawns in the starter for 5.50 each. Chicken tikka starter. Onion bhaji - get 3 in starter well worth the money. Chicken bhuna on puree and mushroom pilau rice. Nice little boxes of salads. Everything was outstanding and delivery driver lovely all on time and piping hot. Thank you 🙏

I recieved a notification from just eat saying my order was ready to collect. I had to wait 10 minutes when I arrived. I ordered a chicken madras pizza. It was so bland, no taste at all. Crispy flavourless pizza base. I wont be returning

It's been around 8 months since we ordered from saffron as was disappointed last time so ordered again as there pizzas are top quality, crust lovely, toppings lovely, well we ordered a hawian which is advertised with pineapple, 2 tiny bits of pineapple on full pizza. Also ordered a lamb pizza with 2 tiny bits of lamb on full pizza, I suggest they put what they advertise on pizza as would only cost £1 ??? Not ordering from them again

Ordered from saffron as numerous times before and never had one complaint at all and tonight’s food was just as good, nice and hot and on time, this is the only Indian we will order from.

Curry was unreal!! Only thing i’d say is that the naan was a bit thin and could have been more fluffy, but other than that it was so tasty.
