This shop scams people on Uber eats. They charged £17 for lamb doner buy one get one free. I forgot to take a picture, but my order looks identical to Steven Lawrence’s review below. The portion was so small, they served it in a 7 inch pizza box (they usually serve in a doner in a doner box) The box was half filled, with no salad. I chose the pick up option on Uber eats, when I asked them for salad, they said they don’t include it. At this point is it buy one get one free? I can see they trick customers to think they’re getting a normal doner meal, then sell a lamb doner box on Uber eats for £17 then do buy one get one free offers. Edit: I’ve seen a lot of customers ALOT of people complain about this in your reviews. This might be the reason why you have such a low rating on Google and on Uber (you have only 42% on this meal on Uber). May be might be worth trying to address the common complaints that many other customers have tried to make, instead of trying to have an argument with them. 3.3* rating is very low.

Last night I ordered 2 chicken doner boxes, costs me around more than 18 pounds including fees through Uber. Now order I received only fries and dried chicken. That how u making people fool??? That how name it Donner??? When you call it Donner it means it comes with onion,tomato, cucumber, jalapenos,lettuce etc on top then it becomes doner, even if u have a look into Ur menu pic, there was a green chilli and tomato . But u sent me only dried chicken and soggy fries. That was my first time. I will recommend other people not to order again from this shop. Because u guys don't deserve that we buy food. Highly disappointment.

Scam! Absolutely waste of money no costumer service at all the customer service is terrible avoid it all cost of this place. If you buy food and want to eat in they will charge you £3 extra and which the price is already very high it is a scam restaurant.

Ordered lamb donner and chips. Portion size was very decent. Tasted good. Only downside is that delivery took a bit longer than expected. But overall satisfied and will order again.

I used to always order from here but then one day they didn’t deliver the food. After waiting around 2 hours I called them up and they said they did deliver the food and that I’m lying and was arguing with me over the phone. Don’t order from them, they try to scam people and have terrible customer service

I recently had a disappointing experience with my customer service. Upon receiving it, I noticed there was hair mixed in with the meat. This was not only unappetizing but also raised concerns about hygiene and food safety. I expect a certain standard when ordering food, and finding hair in my meal is unacceptable. When confronting the guy, he denied it and continuously accused me of placing it in there. The guy continued by laughing at me saying ‘it’s good for you’ and refused to take this complaint seriously. I will NOT be coming back considering i was a loyal customer !!

i’ve been a customer for many years: In my opinion the best value and quality in Gants Hill. I especially enjoy the lamb ribs which are to die for and the lamb donar which is always crispy and yet juicy. Service is also always fast and well mannered. Take away service is always prompt, and eating in is good cafe style. i also noticed that they now serve food on smart plates and with excellent sharp knives to cut meat. Highly recommend

I place order by Uber eats at 11.35 and it should arrive by 13:00 but it's arrived at 13.45 . I call them 5 times and always they lies me it's coming in 5 min or 8 min . Last time when I call them they closed the phone! I don't recommend this restaurant!!

Disgusting - might report to you to health & safety ! Avoid

So the guys at salamis are very friendly however they kept asking me if i was to eat in or takeaway. As there was table and chairs I assumed seating would be better. The food which i ordered was doner lamb in outta with Salad. Presentation was as to be expected however the doner was very dry almost inedible. Salad was nice as nice as a salad should be.The doner was left half eaten as i couldn't stomach anymore, when paying the bill they charged me £14.99 when totting up the display menu prices it came to £10.00 When i asked in detail why the extra amount he simply said you ate inn. inwas taken a back and asked him to explain this.... There was no signage stating eating in would cost more. This is really a rip off especially for the food which was served. Feel completely ripped off wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. I should of read the reviews before visiting... 1st and last time!!!

I been told to the restaurant and I order Greek salad what was say it’s £5 and I order apple juice £2.50 When i pay it was £9.50 for all that small salad I got shocked for that and I asked the wearer how come I paid 9.50 he said because I’m eating in that why! If I know that , I’m going to take away my small salad.! And I told him why you guys not making people to see how much the price of your are in or take away this is really really bed ! Just for this small salad I paid this much this is funny never going back again. I’m really upset now .

I have come here since salamis was a smaller resturaunt. So nice to see its expanded and its definate always on my list for fine resturaunt and take away. My son is a very picky eater but he loves everything at salamis restaurant. His favourite is the lamb doner wrap with salad and chilli sauce ! something he never used to have in his life and now always wants ! The staff are brilliant the food is amazing price is reasonable! The man with the grey hair is our favourite !!!! Always happy and smiling 😃 thankyou

Best local takeaway, you can’t beat them! Lamb doner is amazing and the best cheesy chips, absolutely worth the price and the staff are always kind and approachable! Great atmosphere, would 10/10 recommend! Ps. if you’re a student they’re a go to after a night out!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from this horrid restaurant , and it was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The floors were sticky, the tables were littered with crumbs and used napkins, and the counter was covered in what looked like a day’s worth of grime. The food quality was appalling. My kebab was cold, the meat was rubbery, and the vegetables looked like they had seen better days. It was evident that the ingredients were far from fresh. The pita bread was stale and hard, making it difficult to even chew through the sandwich. Overall, the meal was inedible, and I ended up throwing most of it away. Adding insult to injury, the staff behind the counter had a filthy attitude. They were rude, dismissive, and acted as though serving customers was a chore. When I pointed out the state of the food, I was met with eye-rolls and snarky comments instead of an apology or any attempt to rectify the situation. Their lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was truly disturbing. In summary, I would strongly advise against visiting this place . The unhygienic conditions, terrible food quality, and the disrespectful behavior of the staff make for a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Save your money and your stomach – go elsewhere.

Kebab was very dry. It tasted like no taste to it. Portions not quite there (large). A very disappointing meal. Happened to me on 3 occasions. So had enough and written the review. Going by what others written it’s obvious they don’t care.

The moussaka was a sloppy mess and all mixed in together instead of the bechamel sauce on the top. Hardly any aubergines and only a bit of lamb. I'll give this restaurant a missalongwith the other nearby Turkish eateries. I'l stick with the M&S!

This place is so tight with their portions yet they charge £10 for a large donnar. I cannot believe how stingy they are with their portions, maybe the staff want to take it home and eat it alone and not sell it. Please avoid, don’t be robbed.

we called the restaurant twice and they kept saying the order would be with us with no explanation why it was taking so long. I ordered at 7.30 and the order arrived at 8.50. the quality of the food was very bad and cold.

the dishes I ordered already come with rice but the menu requires that I have to order extra rice OR chips for an additional £2.something. this is a waste of money and food. I don't need that extra rice as the lamb kofta and the wings come with rice already. you need to put the extra rice and chips as an option a d not something that is required.

JustEat prices for this place have gone absolutely astronomical. Has gone up by £10 and more in the space of a few weeks. Is now delivered with almost NO rice, was also cold and the price change is also a con. 40% off offer so they increased the price massively to compensate. Their menu still has the correct prices. Look at photos below to see the lack of rice, the real price on the physical menu and the insane prices inflated recently on the app to make up extra money. On top of which is a service charge making it even worse. I used to use this place almost every single night. I can barely afford to use it once now due to the insane price rise. You're now paying literally more than double for much less food if using the apps. 26 pounds for lamb chops and almost no rice is unacceptable. Unheard of in fact. 15.99 was reasonable and fair. When a 40% offer is applied and you're still paying more than the menu price, something is very, very wrong.

It was my first and last visit. Go to SULTAN Restaurant at Cranbrook Road Instead. Don't dare to come into this place. Very bad services. Looks like money, Hungry owner. Reduced portions size and disgusting food.. horrible. I am a regular Turkish food fan, but this place food tastes horrible. It was too expensive for the portions size.

Declining standards.. ordered a chicken sheesh, portion is smaller, they didn’t supply any bread, and charged £9 for some chicken chips salad with no drink! In the past the portion of chicken and chips have always been generous and all for £6

I live 3.5 miles from them and it took them 2 hours to delivery my food. If you want quick to eat I would not recommend Salamis.

Very very good restaurant for grill items, we ordered king platter and mega platter for 11 people and we have got sufficient portions and the items were very tasty and good quality. The manager here is very good and we requested for some discount at the end and we were happy for what he has given the service. I would recommend this place for everyone for small occasions to big events.

In the app it said it arrived, but it didnt. I called them and they say in 15 minutes but took an extra 30 minutes. They forgot some of the items but it is useless saying anything as they ask for a picture of the missing item. I didn't get the milkshake (almost £6) if I didn't get it how can I take a picture?! Honestly, even that the meat was nice, is not worth the hassle.

Food was delivered 20 min later then latest estimated time .Part of the food was delivered completely cold and the rest was nearly to cold .I have contacted the chef asking where is the food as ,, just eat " updated the food was delivered ,saying to enjoy our food but we still waiting for it .So he said they don't have drivers to deliver ,when the food arrived the driver said the chef is very busy in the kitchen as sorting other orders . Charging £14.99 for a lamb donor which is a medium size portion of donar and chips (no salad) in a pizza box is clearly wrong. The taste was very bland and having no salad just makes it much worse. Then to have an offer to say buy one and get one free on this lamb donar seems too cheeky based on the size and taste of portion plus no salad. This seems to be a misleading advertisement on your website. Each donar box should be equivalent to paying £14.99 in terms of taste, portion and to include salad atleast and also definately not serving in a pizza box. It was not something i was expecting from your restaurant.

Went last year food was great. This time... terrible! Ordered Lamb shwarma but it wasn't. Was lamb donner that tasted like plastic. Awful! Cost £9.99 each and couldn't eat it. Chips were cold, rice was over heated and all in all was a terrible experience. Complained to management and was give £7 off my total bill. Felt scammed. Avoid like the plague. You are better off putting a bit of seasoning on your money and eating that. Would have tasted better!
