Savannah in Lambeth

Estaba muy decepcionado con el cerdo Large Jerk que pedí el otro día. Pedí uno grande y compré de 5 a 6 pedacitos de cerdo seco y recalentado en un recipiente pequeño con un poco de arroz. También pedí que me lo llevaran pero cuando lo recibí, se había calentado muy caliente. Así que tuve que recalentarlo de nuevo porque estaba frío para cuando llegué a casa. Eso no fue grande, tengo un cerdo patán grande encantador en Croydon por casi la mitad del precio. No estoy seguro de por qué el servidor tuvo que envolver el contenedor en una película clin y luego ató la bolsa para que no pudiera abrirla para evitar que mirara la comida hasta que llegara a casa, no está bien. Lo siento, pero me sentí muy decepcionante y terminada. No puedo servir

My friends and I had a brilliant time at Savannah in Clapham. (31/8/2023) The food and service were excellent, thanks to Andrew and the rest of the staff. See you soon again.

Genuinely the worst roti. No potato. Mainly bones and not dhalpouri which they should specify- Fellow countryman tried telling me that’s how a roti is, knowing he talking to a trini. He was v defensive when I addressed it. Poor poor service. Horrible value for money. Curry taste okay ish. Don’t go. It’s not a good representation of the Caribbean

I ordered a takeaway from Savannah and the food was absolutely amazing. Delicious fresh food and huge portions. The best West Indian food in south west London.

siempre me dan rabo de toro y arroz. Auténtico y delicioso. Usan arroz basmati que lo hace tan sabroso. El rabo de toro se cae del hueso. Tierno y muy sabroso. No recomendaría los buñuelos ya que mi primera experiencia fue horrible. Duro, masticable con poco pescado salado y demasiada harina.

Sirve increíbles y comida deliciosa. Todo estaba caliente cuando lo llevaron a la mesa. Felizmente volvería y comería aquí de nuevo. No quedaba ni un trozo de comida en el plato.

I ordered the fried sea bass with hard food (steamed green plantain, dumpling and yam)along with salt fish fritters and fried plantain and it was absolutely delicious. The fish portion could have been bigger however I was completely stuffed as I'd also ordered fried chicken wings and the tastiest mac and cheese id ever eaten in my life. I am definitely going back

I can't thank you all enough for making my parents day so special. From the begin booking our reservation, excellent communication from all staff, all staff made sure everything was done exactly how we requested especially my parents music request. The food portions were plenty, nicely presented and tasted delicious Savannah's is a homely place to dine beautiful ambiance. Thank you Andrew for meeting our requirements, to all the Chefs thanks so much the food was👌🏽👌🏽❤. I'll be Back Carol.

Superb food that was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the waitress really friendly. We loved it so much that we called back in later and had dessert - possibly the finest Jamaican rum cake I’ve ever eaten.

Went Savannah restaurant for the first time yesterday and had their fish box don’t on Fridays and Saturdays , absolutely delicious, not oily , generous portions and hot upon serving .. will def be back :)

Piccolissimo ristorante con una bellissima e gentilissima ragazza come unica cameriera/cassiera . Ci ha fatto mangiare nonostante fossero le 22,00... in Inghilterra inusuale! In cucina 2 Mary che ci hanno dei piatti straordinari. Piatti con bellissima presentazione e profumo buonissimo! Tutto SUPER. Prezzi bassissimi con una buonissima qualità! Proprio brave. Lo consigliamo. Da ritornare senza dubbio.

Food was cold and dry waited 2 hour , first and last time

food didn't come at all last night, I had to get a full refund today by contacting just eat.

I placed an order at 7.15pm for 9.30pm knowing that I would not be in earlier than that. Came back home at 9 and waited until 9.50pm when I then called the restaurant and was told that the driver had come twice, around 8.30pm, but had then left as I was not it. I was told it was my fault as there was not my number on my order. What's the point in choosing the delivery time if they then do whatever they want? Awful service (but good food)

We ordered 1 main and 2 sides and couldn't finish it between the two of us. Excellent food, great value, will order again.

2 of my 6 pieces of plantain were missing and I only received 4 pieces. Apart from that I was extremely pleased with the food which I was expecting but more surprised with the speed of the delivery service which I was not expecting. Overall very happy.

Never again will I order from here. An hour late delivery. And they were out of dumplings and salt fish fritters! Errrrr they should have gone to the shop and bought a BAG OF FLOUR... dumplings don't take long to make. Neither do fritters. Replaced with horrible pasta salad and an apple crumble that tasted shop bought. The stew chicken n rice that the family had wasn't good. Rice tasted re heated. And I didn't bother with my ackee and salt fish as I they served it with rice. Ew. I wanted hard food. Anyway in the 2 hours we were waiting from the original order time I ended up cooking for my 3 yo daughter who as she couldn't wait and bedtime was near. Realistically I could have cooked the whole meal myself in that time and it would have been fresh and much more tasty.

45 minutes late had to call restaurant, food wasn't that good meat was tough overall very basic carribean that I've ever tasted sorry won't order again.

Waited for 1 hour 45 mins for food to be delivered 5 mins down the road. Was told twice on the phone that the driver was on his way and caught in traffic waiting a further 30 minutes. Food was not hot on arrival.

Second time ordering from them. Food was cold and mac n cheese was simply gloopy pasta with cheese sprinkled on top. The attitude from the staff is shocking! Will not be ordering from them again!

I had chicken curry with a festival and I was surprised at how good it was. The person who delivered my food was on time and the food came hot which is great. I would definitely order again!

Having read the reviews about the delivery time I was a bit apprehensive to order however I was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing and delivery was under an hour. I would definitely order from here again if the service remains good.

Food here is always delicious well made well seasoned arrives hot and on time. Only issue I have is that they rarely offer delivery. Good food

They didn't have roti which I ordered and said they tried to ring me. I didn't get any missed class so was given chicken breast as a swap which I felt was fair. It's too bad that the beautiful woman working the counter didn't have my correct number because I liked her a lot and dream of her texting me one day.

Best Caribbean take away by far!

You cant deny the quality of the food from Savannah, the food is 100% tasty and the best I've had from a Caribbean takeaway. There's one big problem and an on going problem they deliver your food up to 2-3 hours later. They don't stick to the estimated time what so ever which has made me want to leave a review for other customers. I've ordered from this takeaway more then 10 times I've never received my order on time. I think Savannah need to change this if they want to keep their customers, the time keeping is totally ridiculous.

at last a yard food delivery service that dont take 3+ hours to turn up. the food dont taste like it was cooked 3 days ago and just microwaved. annd the prices aint sky high decent enough, recommended thumbs up

I ordered Jerk Chicken and rice and peas, the food arrived 15 minutes quicker than the original delivery time, however the rice was dry and in clumps. The peas were solid lacking in any taste whatsoever. The chicken was so dry, with no juices or gravy at all that I had to add my own sauce. Overall the food was mediocre at best and won't be ordering from this establishment again.
