Savci Turkish Mediterranean in Luton

This place is not worth the money, food quality was poor, portion was very small for the price. This is the worst Turkish restaurant I have been to.

Great choice for vegetarians. Excellent ambience and service.

One of our friends hyped this place up but honestly it's not worth the price and food is not all that.

Good food. The Chicken Guveci was really good. Nice atmosphere with the staff as polite as humanly possible.

First time visiting. Atmosphere electric, food 1st class and staff very professional. Only place in Luton where you can eat, have back ground music whilst eating and then party time after eating. A must visit.

Our second visit as we came in the opening weeks when they had a few teething issues. Thought we’d give it another chance…. Wouldn’t recommend though as the food is overpriced and isn’t worth coming in for. It’s fake Turkish. Food is really bang average kebabs, went for the meat platter, sharer for 2 (meat dry with rice) and not premium quality for the price they charge (Lamb cutlets had barely any meat on them). For starters, tried the cold mezze sharer (loads of sauce, but no bread) looked like it came out of a tub and not freshly prepared. Service wise, friendly but felt like we were constantly being watched (probably as there weren’t many in there) and pressured to eat up our evening meal, had 4 different waiters at our table and came across as disorganised, especially as our sides never came with our main and got our drinks order initially incorrect. In short an expensive meal and wasn’t impressed.

Food is nothing special, meats on the grill and that's it. We were group of 8, ordered 1 platter for 4 and waiter thought it's for all of us, haven't ask others what they want, even we said they will need to order too. Ordered drinks and they all coming at different times, not sure how hard is to bring them all together. Same for food, some arrived earlier, others had to wait. Not the servise you would want from a place calling itself a restaurant. Overall it's ok, nothing special or amazing, not sure if I would go back.

Amazing food and really friend staff, it’s my 2nd time here and it’s been great each time I had the calamari and Savci special which had a mix of food. The waiter was a young female who was very friendly, not sure what her name was

It is also one of the very good restaurants that we were able to visit if I come back to Lutton the passage will be obvious of course. Not funny, even the service was excellent, we ate really perfect.

We arrived without a booking and were shown straight to a table. Staff were attentive and ready to help when we wanted. Food was available quickly, well presented and tasty. Thanks for your great, friendly service.

This is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely ambience. We were only there for coffee (the Turkish coffee was excellent) but would love to come back to try their much-recommended cocktails and food.

Must reccomend, lovely food with the right amount flavour. We ordered adana kofta and lamb shank well presented and lovely flavour. The staff were very welcoming and attentive to any questions we had. Also the toilet facilities were lovely and clean which brings a change to some the places we've been to. Overall thumbs up 👍

When it comes to iskendar the best in this area is effes in Dunstable. The make it brilliantly the next nearest is in MK (Olive Branch, however both of these are around £25 per portion. Somehow this one slipped under my radar. Ordered iskendar kebab for around £20. Oh my it was sublime, brilliant and as good as efes make. The Adana kebab was meaty n moist, halep sauce had a richness and tang and topped with mild yoghurt . Brilliantly done. 10/10. The 2 pots of sauces they give the red one is amazing and just adds more flavor layers to meal. Salad was also really nice with good blend of colours. Never had souch rocket iny salad and it rocked it My new go too restaurant thanks Savci. I shall recommend to everyone.

First visited Savci through an invitation from a neighbour related to the owner as he’d arranged an afternoon party for his daughter at the restaurant. We had a great experience on that occasion and fully intended to go for a meal sometime soon. Finally booked in for a family meal this weekend. The interior design is spot on, the ambiance just right and it’s a lovely place to be. The experience was faultless with very friendly staff who made us feel not only welcome but special and it’s clear, they really do care about their customers experience. The food was fantastic, really tasty, well presented and I honestly can’t think of a place I’ve been with family members where we all absolutely loved our chosen dishes. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and the prices are very reasonable… to the point I’d have happily paid more due to what a great time we all had. Will definitely be returning at the first opportunity and imagine it will become a regular choice when eating out. Thank you Savci for giving Luton at least one fantastic place to eat out.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, and the food is enjoyable. However, the portion sizes are quite small (as per photos), especially given the pricing. Additionally, the quality of the meat does not meet the premium standards one would expect for the cost but the spices and way it’s cooked compensates for that.

We had booked for the dine in restaurant but had to cancel due to migraine earlier in the day; decided to order takeaway instead. Lovely food, really enjoyed the shish, should pack chips separately in paper to retain the quality but other than than fantastic - would order again x

Only came for a take away. The food was fab; well cooked and good portions. The staff were great and made sure cold dishes were separate from hot. The atmosphere inside was good and will def consider eating in when down this way again.

Good food, friendly service the only downside is that it is a bit pricey for what it is. It's not a place I would go to on a regular basis, only on special occasions due to the cost of the meals. Putting that aside, the service was friendly and efficient and it is a nice place. Food was cooked well. As there was a number of us we all choose different meals and most of us enjoyed what we ordered. Would I go back? Yes, once I've saved up enough pennies for a meal.

This a lovely spot in Stopsley. The decor was lovely and it very tasteful. The food was lovely well presented and good value for money. Will go back again soon. Highly recommend.

came here to celebrate my brothers graduation. the staff’s service was phenomenal. not only did they bring out the cake and cued the music for celebratory songs, they also gave multiple items on the house. lovely people and lovely food 🤍

This place just gets better and better. The staff and management were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for our group. The Manageress knew exactly who had ordered what and was constantly making sure we had everything that we needed. We have already booked our next visit in a couple of weeks time with our extended family and friends. Best of the best

The staff were amazing. They were happy to seat us in an area we felt comfortable in. Food was delicious, managers were very hands on and friendly and the ambience was perfect. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning!

This is a superb restaurant! The food was was delicious and the service outstanding. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long while.

We ordered a platter which was delish. Couldn't fault it. The food was so tasty, but a bit more salad would have been nice.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was a good choice with really excellent food, which was reasonably priced, and delightful friendly staff. There was a wide choice on the menu and they were knowledgeable about what was gluten free. My only 'criticism' was that the portions were enormous! I certainly wouldn't have had a starter if I had known as it was the size I would have had for a main meal, and my main meal was easily enough to feed two people. Even my husband, who can eat a lot, was defeated. Fortunately the lovely waitress gave me a take away carton so I could take the rest of my meal away to eat the next day. I hate waste!! I shall know what to order the next time and will certainly return. Highly recommended.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I dined at Savci restaurant in Luton last night and had an incredible experience. The vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere is perfect, and the decor is charming. The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with incredible Turkish flavours. The baklava was a delightful end to the meal. The staff were lovely and attentive, enhancing the warm ambiance. Highly recommended for delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and great service!

I’m hard to please for meals out as I am a self-proclaimed food snob but this place didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious, portion size was generous, service was friendly and it was busy, so added to the enjoyment. I only deducted 1 star for atmosphere as the music was a little too loud for me but that’s cos I’m knocking on a bit and getting deaf!

Spontaneous trip lead to succulent lamb dish with good atmosphere and polite staffing. However, slight miscommunication with drinks/starters yet quickly resolved which hasn't deterred us coming back!

Was pleasantly surprised. A warm atmosphere with delicious food. The family and I enjoyed their mouth-watering Savci Mix Special with a few mocktails. A delightful evening out.

We saw some good reviews for this restaurant and decided to give a try! What a mistake!!!! The lamachun was soggy and not crispy like it should be the mince meat lacked flavour and taste. All I could taste was just the taste of meat which wasn’t so pleasant. We then ordered a mixed cold mezze which wasn't too bad, however taramasalata was inedible, also it did bot resemble the picture from the website which was disappointing as what came was a lot smaller in size. We also ordered a mix grill kebab which was a shock to say the least! You could count the pieces on the plate that has never been a mixed kebab i have eaten in lots of Turkish restaurant the salad was ok but the kebabs were so small and dry so was the pieces of dry chicken wings and chewy meat, chicken kebab and meat smelt and lacked flavour. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant as its far from a traditional Turkish restaurant. We both left very disappointed. Just to add the waitresses were very nice so as the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Had a single meal takeaway. It had the smallest portion of rice and meat for £20 and was really dry. Won't be going back there.

Had a meal here for my grandaughters 18th birthday. First time here,lovely place service was excellent, the food was delicious, the portions were huge.Even supplied a box for left overs to take home can't fault it will definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone.

Very delicious authentic turkish food

Took my daughter and here for her 18th birthday, never been before my daughter wanted to try something new along with the family, (9 in all) we had a amazing experience, The whole team we're fantastic, we were Greeted with a smile, the kitchen stuff Produced amazing food, we all had something a bit different and all of us were Extremely happy, the portion sizes are great, A few of us could not finish it and we were given boxes to bring some of the food home. Table Service was fantastic one of the best i've had in a long time, helpful, Patient and made my daughter feel special along with The management, so kind, my daughter had a a wonderful time. We all will Definitely Be returning, and I highly recommend this restaurant to others.

The staff, management and kitchen staff made my daughters 18th birthday very special. from the amazing food to the service that was impecable. The staff also helped out with a birthday cake (not their own) dressing it up on a plate also playing happy birthday. Nothing was too much trouble every request was met with a smile. This was also acheived whilst haveing 4 other partys of 10+ in the resturant at the same time. All in all it was one of the best dining experiences i have ever had. So please go to this resturant and try for yourself dont just take my word for it. You WILL NOT be disapointed

My business colleague and I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at Savci. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was excellent, and the meal was wonderful. We enjoyed a mixed grill platter for two and couldn’t possibly finish all of it. We also enjoyed some wonderful cocktails that were unique in and of themselves. All in all a fine dining experience with the kindest and most outgoing hosts and hostesses!
