Sea Pearl Garden in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

On holiday and needed to eat. More expensive than at home and nowhere near as nice. Pancake rolls so greasy there was a pool of oil in the bag, and no flavour as it was mostly bean sprouts and no seasoning . Wouldn't go again and wouldn't recommend. Rice was ok, Prawn with ginger and spring onion was tasteless and my husband's crispy beef was ok but very bland

Food all cooked in view and its fresh. Nice and tasty. After reading the last review I walked down and got a takeaway to see if they were as wrong as i knew they'd be. 6 different dishes for £30 and its freshly cooked 😀

Do not eat here and this is coming from a local to the area. Had this twice a both times it’s been horrendous slop! I will not be returning to this over priced crap hole! Cheers and gone!

Very good chinese takeaway, we are on holiday and go here, we had the set menu for 3 people plus extras all good would recommend if you like Chinese food and not just one dish

I know takeaways as I owed and worked in few and I can tell you Satay is Amazing in this place! ❤️❤️❤️ We ordered few times while on holidays in Tommy’s holiday park and we liked every dish (aromatic duck, veg fried rice, king prawns chow main plus chicken and green peppers in black bean sause we ordered twice haha! But Beef satay was perfect balance of spice and peanut flavour- heaven for me! Thank you and see you next year probably 🥰 Kornelia & Kamil

Staying nearby for long weekend so sourced a Chinese restaurant that delivers to pick up at reception. Delivery prompt polite food still hot as in old school tin tubs not plastic. Special fried rice prawn foo yung ribs chow mein few other little bits all excellent and very tasty definitely trumps anything where we live. Surprised the prices were also great for a seaside restaurant. Would recommend without hesitation

The must be something weird about the people who complained about the food on offer here, we have been using the Sea Pearl for a long time and we’ve never been disappointed

So surprised to see some bad reviews on here, we have had a great takeaway every time from Sea Pearl Garden. Reasonable prices, quick and tasty.

It was very complicated to order. The menu online is their old one which isn’t updated and so on arrival everything was more expensive than anticipated. It was cash under £10 which we were not told on the phone when we enquired about cash or card. When it comes to the food… they managed to mess up prawn crackers- stale and tasteless. This carried on throughout the meal. Nothing was seasoned and the chicken tasted of plastic. Chow mien noodles were plain with not a lot of sauce and there wasn’t a lot of pancakes to go with the duck.

on holiday fancied a Chinese, arrived quickly however chips were inedible as you couldn’t chew them portions very small and watery. A waste of £50. Very disappointed ☹️

Tasteless food. Run down and rough. Chow mien had a long hair in it. Food was bland. Needs an extreme makeover

We waited 45 minutes for food (when ordering we checked and I was told 15-20 minutes). The food was so overcooked it was inedible. Definitely would not recommend

Absolutely disgusting food disgustingly rude staff very watery curry everything tastes of fish it’s awful had to get a re delivery as they messed up then they tried charging me again for delivery

Would definitely recommend this chinese takeaway, was very tasty and portion sizes are really generous. Delivery was also very fast.

Really disappointed, the food just tasted re-heated, old & verging on inedible. We like to support local business however nobody likes to feel they’ve wasted money especially at the moment. Really unfair to be serving food of such low quality to honest & trusting locals.

It's not often I ever write a review but after using this takeway for over 30 years its time I put pen to paper and endorsed this authentic chinese food shop. It tastes like chinese as real Hong Kong chinese cook the food and run it so well . I have been to Hong Kong Malaya and Singapore and this food reignites my tastes buds for these exotic and the culinary delights of the far east. Every other shop in Hayle is second rate in all respects to this brilliant jewel of chinese nosh delight.

Was dubious as no recent reviews but the family enjoyed egg fried rice noodles prawn toast and satay prawns, very tasty no msg cooked really well and delivered to beachside within 40mins .

Whilst on holiday in Hayle we had a takeaway, the food was really tasty and freshly cooked, would definitely recommend.

Order here if you like onion. Ordered 7 different main dishes and it was very bland. Very disappointed. All meals bulked out with onion and bland veg. Absolute garbage.

Best chips in Cornwall! Also have really nice spring rolls. Quick genuine service also. 10/10 would recommend if in the area.

Great little place, very friendly staff. They were extremely busy which i see as a good sign. Food was all lovely, hot and very tasty.

Food was terrible. Very salty and sour flavoured, didn't taste fresh. the salt seem to be masquerading something ???.Chucked the whole meal in the bin.. Disgusting.. We've had Chinese meals all over this country, for many many years.trust me, this is the worst... Do you self a favour avoid it.. There is a fantastic Chinese just down the road 400 mtrs into hayle, we went there after this rubbish meal..It's called EASTERN EMPIRE on the right hand side. Fantastic food, Great price. Hot , and friendly staff.No complaints here.....
