Absolutely fabulous food and friendly service. Would highly recommend giving it a try. The cocktails are amazing too. We will be back XX

The tapas starters were fantastic - my 2 stars does not relate to them, but the main course. We had chicken fajitas for our main and were horrified that the chicken was gristly Pieces of chicken thigh meat. I’ve never experienced anything like it and only ever been served lean chicken breast strips with fajitas in the past. Neither of us were able to eat the food and I did mention this to the waitress who said she’d speak to the Manager. We had been placed upstairs on a table for two right by the door and the waitress station which was very cramped and we felt that we were being watched all the time. Not a very comfortable experience. We did ask if we could move to another table for two and we were told we couldn’t because it was already booked. My friend asked with the bill when I had gone to visit the ladies room and when I returned, the waitress was standing by the table so I asked her what the Manager had said about the food which we had not been able to eat - She then said oh yes, sorry I can take £7 off the bill. By this time the restaurant was full and we did not wish to make a scene so paid the bill and gave the £7 discount as a tip to the waitress which I thought was more than fair in the circumstances. I then emailed the restaurant to raise a complaint and never received a response which only leads me to believe that they simply don’t care. I’m not sure if the popularity of this place is just because it’s the only Mexican Themed restaurant in Coventry (except las iguanas but I mean independent restaurants), however it simply doesn’t cut it for me and the really poor quality and even worse customer service has made me determined never to return. So very, very disappointed in the lack of communication. On reflection, we should have refused to pay the bill as I’m sure that would’ve got the manager’s attention!

Came here yesterday on recommendation and cannot recommend this place enough! Staff were lovely and attentive without being overbearing and the food was absolutely delicious! My fussy husband who rarely enjoys a meal out as he says it is all “average” could not get enough and said he looks forward to going back as the food was so tasty and well presented. Rarely leave a review but had to on this occasion. Thank you

Very glad that they have now reopened. Managed to get a walk in table, but I'm sure it won't be long before you need to book a week in advance again. Food was brilliant and service excellent. One of many excellent restaurants in Coventry. We will be back again soon.

Hours not updated and no info on their website that the place is closed. We travelled all the way from London and kissed the door.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, but it turned out to be a major letdown. Mexican cuisine is famous for its bold flavours, yet the food here was bland, greasy, and completely lacking in taste. We asked for some sauce to add a bit of flavour, and they brought us a small spoonful of what tasted like supermarket sauce, then charged us £2 for it! To make matters worse, the staff were unfriendly, and the toilet, situated right next to the kitchen, wasn’t clean. A very disappointing experience overall.

Great little gem in the heart of the city. Went a long as part of a birthday celebration. Which they booked from various recommendations, definitely not disappointed. Cocktails were really great garnished up with lots of fresh fruits and flowers. They tasted spot on. Food was very tasty we had a few of the tapas between us for starters. I had the ribeye fajitas for main, one of the best meals I have had out in ages. Would highly recommend this place. Booking would be advised as it's small inside so always busy. Good would of advice, if you done upstairs watch out for the beam.

Pretty decent, surprisingly the ribs are amazing! They just fall off the bone.

Recientemente cenamos en Selminas después de haber disfrutado de una visita previa, así que decidimos volver con amigos que no habían estado. Al sentarnos, pedimos una ronda de ginebras flamencas y luego nuestra comida. Dos de nosotros empezamos con los Nachos, seguidos por las Fajitas Tomahawk para dos, mientras que nuestros amigos eligieron una selección de seis tapas para compartir. Como antes, la comida era deliciosa, y Selminas tiene un ambiente fantástico, perfecto si estás fuera con amigos, familiares o en una cita nocturna. Muy recomendable. Sin embargo, esta vez, nos encontramos con una mezcla - con nuestra orden, que está bien y fue rectificado. Sin embargo lo menciono por una razón, pedimos específicamente las Tomahawk Fajitas, incluso señalando el plato en el menú, porque hay otro plato, el Tomahawk Steak, que viene con papas fritas y sirve para 2 - 4 personas. Cuando el servidor repitió las órdenes de vuelta a nuestra mesa, mencionó el filete Tomahawk, y mi amigo reiteró que queríamos las Tomahawk Fajitas. A pesar de esto, cuando llegaron los platos, nos sirvieron el bistec Tomahawk en su lugar. Informamos al servidor que trajo la comida, y ella lo discutió con la persona que tomó nuestro pedido. Se acercó y, en lugar de reconocer el error, insistió en que nos había repetido la orden, y dijimos que sí, que lo hiciste, pero mi amigo le repitió las Fajitas Tomahawk. Si bien apreciamos el esfuerzo por aclarar, no es una buena práctica hacer que el cliente se sienta culpable, especialmente cuando hemos señalado claramente el menú y repetido nuestra solicitud. Dicho esto, sigo recomendando Selminas por su gran ambiente y deliciosa comida.

Best Mexican I’ve been! Great food great service great price!

Great restaurant in Spon Street. Food was excellent, great choice and not your usual suspects on a standard Mexican menu. Will definitely be back when visiting in the area.

Reserved on a recommendation. Arrived exactly in time. Was given a table for two, crammed in to a space in between two tables of four. Positioned so closely that you couldn’t get to it without disrupting the other diners. We asked for an alternative, to which there was a resolute no - it was 8pm on a Sunday evening, with what appeared to be empty, larger tables. I appreciate we are no longer under a 2m restriction, but I still feel it should be safe to assume that other diners elbows and hair wouldn’t infringe in to your dining space. Businesses need to make money and with restaurants this means covers, but we didn’t stay, so the restaurant lost our revenue because they are trying to make every cm of their floor space count, literally. There needs to be a health and safety review at this restaurant, their spacing cannot be safe and there is no room for diners with mobility issues. Food here is nice, but suggest if there is two of you, reserve a table of four and tell the restaurant that your friends were a no-show. Really disappointed,

Aprecio que ya no estemos bajo una restricción de 2 m, pero todavía siento que debería ser seguro asumir que otros comensales codos y cabello no infringirían su espacio de comedor. Las empresas necesitan ganar dinero y con los restaurantes esto significa tapaderas, pero no nos quedamos, así que el restaurante perdió nuestros ingresos porque están tratando de hacer que cada cm de su superficie cuente, literalmente. Debe haber una revisión de salud y seguridad en este restaurante, su separación no puede ser segura y no hay espacio para comensales con problemas de movilidad. La comida aquí es agradable, pero sugiera si hay dos de ustedes, reserve una mesa de cuatro y dígale al restaurante que sus amigos no se presentaron. Realmente decepcionado,

Thoroughly enjoyable - there were 4 of us and it was delicious nicest meal I have had in a while well priced to will definitely go again

Fuimos clientes primerizos, habiendo hecho una reserva siguiendo una recomendación. Llegamos a tiempo y nuestras primeras impresiones fueron buenas al cruzar la puerta. Había varios grupos sentados en mesas y disfrutando. A partir de entonces las cosas fueron bajando lentamente. Tardó un tiempo en llamar la atención de cualquier funcionario a pesar de que había varios alrededor. Hubiera sido genial haber tenido a alguien con cierto entusiasmo o carisma saludando a los huéspedes. Estábamos sentados en una mesa para dos, que estaba bien y nos proporcionaron rápidamente menús y bebidas pedidos tomados. No hay cerveza de barril solo botellas, estas eran de precio razonable. Creo que todos los demás clientes en nuestro piso nosotras las mujeres y muchos estábamos disfrutando de cócteles. El menú tenía una amplia gama de platos mexicanos de los que pedimos. Hubo entonces tal vez treinta minutos de espera antes de que llegara nuestra comida, tiempo durante el cual nadie preguntó si queríamos más bebidas o algo más. Hubiera estado bien haber tenido algo de pan o algo más para mordisquear mientras esperábamos. Quizás podríamos haber sido avisados sobre el tiempo de espera y podríamos haber pedido algo para empezar. Cuando la comida llegó era agobiante en comparación con otros restaurantes que ofrecen comida similar. Mis fajitas venían con tres tortillas del tamaño de una palma, pero estas eran quebradizas y secas ya que estaban dobladas y metida junto al tazón caliente en el que estaba la carne de fajita. El único acompañamiento fue un plato pequeño con crema agria, salsa y guacamole. A pesar de que las tortillas eran pequeñas, todavía no había suficientes chapuzones. El guacamole tenía varios grumos grandes de aguacate que no habían sido triturados. El plato requería tortillas más grandes o más. Había pedido un poco de patatas con queso. Estas resultaron ser papas fritas flacas, ok al principio , aparte de una sección que estaba fría, pero el queso se congeló rápidamente a medida que se enfrió, lo que significa que tuve que cortarlas del bloque sólido con un cuchillo y un tenedor. Mi esposa tenía un plato vegetariano con puré de verduras. Por lo general comerá cualquier cosa, pero no los dos tallos de pimienta que encontró. Había un número de personal de pie, pero de nuevo no había servicio ofrecido, nadie preguntó si necesitábamos más bebidas o si la comida estaba bien. Una vez que habíamos terminado y los platos estaban despejados, nadie preguntó si queríamos algo más o si queríamos la cuenta, a pesar de que estábamos sentados en una mesa vacía. Después de haber pedido el proyecto de ley y esperar a que se preparara, un miembro del personal vino y nos dijo que nuestro límite de tiempo había terminado. ¡Qué raro! Siempre somos comedores rápidos y había mesas vacías a nuestro alrededor. Supongo que la principal queja es que nadie estaba realmente administrando el lugar, así que el personal estaba actuando de forma independiente. La próxima vez que quiera mexicano me iré a otro lado.

Perfect spot for a cosy and delicious date night! I wish I could give Selmina's more stars to be honest. The food is incredible. This place has become my partner and I's date night spot. We love the oxtail tacos and the scallop tostados. The drinks are massive and delicious. They are all presented beautifully too. The staff are lovely and friendly. Edited 8/8/24 - I went again yesterday for a work meal and the service was insane again. To put it into perspective, we ordered almost £300 worth of food and had no issues. Shout out to Eugen who was an amazing waiter, served with a smile and clarified all things quickly and clearly.

Fantastic meal, we went for our anniversary meal. We had 7 of the small plates all were brilliant. You will struggle to find anywhere better in Coventry for food. You will probably need to book as it's extremely popular. Couldn't fault anything. Thank you to all the staff for making our evening perfect.

Nice restaurant. Went for a meal with a large group. We'd all pre-ordered due to the size of the group. There was an odd mix-up, but generally good. I wasn't sure what to have as I'd never been before and not a big fan of Mexican food. I think I made a good choice with the salmon tortilla and a side of sweet potato. It was nice, although I didn't finish it as the portions are quite large. My meal came to £21, which was not bad value. Drinks were expensive, though. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for people with mobility problems. It's on two floors.I found the stairs a bit difficult, and there's not a lot of space on the ground floor.

Just a fantastic place really really excellent. Food was amazing. Service was prompt courteous and professional.

We first went to Selminas about 4 years ago and everything was amazing, used to be our favourite restaurant. Now unfortunately the food is just mediocre (burrito and chimichangas) and the service is sub par as the staff just seemed indifferent.

It was a lovely place to eat, we had tapas, there was plenty of food for two, it was delicious, and washed it down with a couple cocktails 🍸🍹

Rotten potatoes fries, awful rude and abrupt waiter, terrible ambience upstairs. Told we had to leave by a certain time just before we ordered. As they had another booking but upstairs was completely empty, Food very mediocre and not the best. Comes out very quickly meaning it’s all probably just reheated. Not worth a visit

We were a larger company, so we ordered all dishes under the Exclusive tapas, along with some of the classics, together with tequila drinks. The “Sexy u know lobster tail”, scallop toastados, ox-tail tacos, baked goat cheese, el filette skewers and chillie prawn tacos were awesome. Everything tasted really well. My only feedback is that the drinks were a little bit too sweet even for spicy food - I missed the lime and tequila freshness, and the salmon a bit overcooked. But overall the best Mexican food I’ve had in years, well deserving the highest recommendations!

Rude and very abrupt waiter. Spoilt the whole experience of eating there. Add to that food is nothing to rave about. Quality is obviously very poor judging by the fries we were served- see photo. Was sat up stairs and immediately informed we had a time limit. By this we finished the whole of the upstairs was empty and no one was waiting. So basically made to clock watch and rush our food. Waiter tried make us have starters and mains at the same time. Awful ambience upstairs.

Visited here last night. Disappointed to say the least. Constantly reminded of the 1 and half hour allocated time. Food over priced we ordered classic nachos and fajitas, bottle of beer glass of house wine that costs £41. Food was small portions. Avoid!

Tiny place but the food was so fresh, the cocktail i had was mid and not cold but the food made up for it!

Incredibly small. Very poor service and basic food. Obviously they think they're amazing as they are 1 of 2 in Coventry. Native to the America's, I'm very aware af great tastic Mexican and Spanish food. This ain't it! Not friendly to disabled people. My mom was made to climb steep steps with a cane when empty tables for 2 were available downstairs. Rude staff ruined my birthday. Nachos and spicy Chipotle wings are the best thing on the menu. Cocktails are ok.

A lovely meal, and great cocktails. The starters/tapas were particularly good. Great staff that really looked after us. It is very busy, so booking a must.

This restaurant only has good reviews as it holds the monopoly on this type of food, not because the food is actually exceptional or has quality customer service. I went with my disabled mother for my birthday. We called ahead to notify the restaurant that we were going to be late due to an issue around her disability. My mother struggles to walk and was using her cane and though there were empty tables for 2 downstairs we were made to climb very narrow, steep stairs to an over crowded loft room where we were sat next to an open door that was inches away from my mother sitting at our table. The waiter (another member of staff) was also incredibly rude and continued to rush us through our meal. Pleasantries like, "Is everything alright with your meal? Would you like another drink?" were not afforded to us. When the happy birthday music was played, I said to my mother that it must be for me. The waiter interrupted our conversation to tell me it was for a table downstairs. Being from Texas and having grown up around a strong Mexican and Spanish influence, we were disappointed by one of the main dishes, chimichangas to be filled with rice and served over chips. This was a triple complex carb overload, fajita bread, potatoes, and rice! I was expecting my chicken delicacy to be filled with creamy cheese, beans, chicken and vegetables. If you're just stopping for a quick bite, I'd suggest the cheesy chipotle wings and nachos which were amazing, but other than that I wouldn't rate them. The restaurant is so small; the table legs are awfully placed centrally so it is impossible to sit comfortably. Normally a good cocktail makes all the bad go away, but in this instance it didn't. We took our money and spent around £100 up the road on drinks at the Telegraph hotel instead. I won't be going back to dine as the staff are rude and the food is generic. No photos as I don't wish to remember how they tried to ruin my birthday.

I’m a fan of Mexican food and have been to several restaurants as well as travelled to the country. But I would say this the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted in the UK! My colleagues and I were looking for an affordable (we’re on a corporate budget) but nice meal and stumbled across Selminas. The venue is small but has great, chic decor that adds a nice ambiance to the place. The waiter was super helpful and there’s a lot of choices on the menu. The meat is also halal. Our party of four each ordered different meals and all were simply mouth-wateringly delicious! Would totally come back here if ever in Coventry again and would recommend it to everyone.

Exactly quality food, never had a bad meal here, the dedication to the food by the chefs is evident in all dishes. Good presentation but more importantly, great tasting!!

Really pleased to find Selminas. Food is top notch, generous and perfectly served. The buzz on Saturday night was fabulous. Nice cocktails too. Thanks folks, will definately be back next Coventry visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner yesterday at Selminas!! Our waitress Tattiana was so lovely, so helpful and very attentive. The food was incredible, and this time we brought two friends with us as we loved it so much last time. Would definitely go back. Thanks to Tattiana for making our evening special.

Lovely restaurant. Cozy interiors, lovely staff. Their service was absolutely great. Totally loved the vibe. A must try for coventry people. All their signature dishes are a great try. They do not provided fresh juices though but food and coffee is really great. Good to go with friends as well as for family outing as well. We tried a variety of dishes and found them really worth the money. Came in again and Azan did an amazing service. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing and authentic food cooked with love, to perfection. The staff here treat you like family! We ate at this restaurant for my daughter’s birthday and they accommodated our large group with ease, the food arrived fast and fresh and everybody loved their dishes. They made my daughter’s birthday extra special for her- these are good people. If I had to make some recommendations I would say the lobster tail, beef tacos and tomahawk stake. Absolutely phenomenal food with amazing service!

Selminas deserves to be award winning - I’m stuffed. Staff were super friendly, and spoke highly of the kitchen staff. Great work. So, we were in Coventry for a business meeting, I live 2h30mins away, and I will be returning with my family for sure. I believe this speaks volumes about Selminas. Thank you!

I have been here twice before with my wife and son on a Saturday night. The food is excellent. We have been up stairs on each visit. There isn't much room but the quality of the food is unreal. There is nothing that we didn't enjoy. The staff are helpful and attentive. The price is reasonable too. Well worth a visit.

I had never heard of this place before going, but i was told when i was there it was great (family member had been before). My daughter choose to have a small family meal here, for her birthday (10 people). The food was great and deserves 5 stars however, I will echo other reviews here, the night started off sour with the waiter not smiling, being pretty blunt and reminding of the 2 hour limit. Definitely go here for the food but, don't go here for a social meal as you will be hurried.

This Mexican fusion is a great hidden gem! The restaurant is in an old Tudor house which still has its original features and beams. We were seated upstairs which had low ceilings and a very low beam in the middle! The decor is very fun and very on theme. The food is a variety of small plates and main meals, we had 3 small plates and 2 mains between 2 people and they were really tasty! Food arrived fast and all at once which was fine for us but you may want to ask for small plates first as the tables are quite small! Would definitely visit again and have already recommended to other in the area!

Unable to give a positive review about the food or the service due to the fact they lost our group booking! The menu sounded good, but disappointed we didn't even receive an apology.

The food was amazing, so was the atmosphere, however, the time you can spend there is very limited and after spending there over just an hour, we were asked to pay the bill as the next table was about to arrive. Bearing in mind we had only one course each, we found it very inconvenient.

We went on a Friday and it was so amazing that we went back again on the Sunday. Fish dishes are superb, atmosphere is great and they agreed to our request to shift the music over to Marachi!

Amazing and authentic food! ❤️ havent tried cocktails but they really looked amazing at the bar. Looking forward to some mocktails option in the future. I think photos of food/cocktails on the menu would help a lot! as the food really is looking amazing and if you are first time in a mexican place you may not know what chimichanga is 🤪 The table is booked for 2 hours just so you are aware as they are a small place! Overall very good experience and we will visit again.

I'd like to give a positive review about the food and the service. Unfortunately, I can't because Selmina's spoiled our evening by losing our booking! We were a group of ten people. Our organiser called into the restaurant personally and booked a table. On the appointed day, she called to double-check the arrangements and was told they had no record of the booking and were full! I don't think any of us would risk booking again.

Visited Jan 2024. Amazing restaurant. Scenic settings and delicious food. Loads of choice on the menu as well as thr cocktail menu. Definitely recommend it and will definitely be back soon.

Arrived with a reservation and was advised we did not have one multiple times, when we produced the email proof we were told we would be shown to our table but no apology offered for the confusion. We were shown to our table upstairs which was situated in the corner, we had to go to our seats sideways to avoid hitting the diners on the table next to us, the space was far too small and uncomfortable for the 3 tables on the wall. On 3 separate occasions food and drinks were brought to us that we did not order and the waitress appeared annoyed at us when we advised they were not ours. The food was stunning, good portions and absolutely delicious although my metal plate kept spinning around throughout the meal. Overall despite the lovely food won't be in a rush to return due to the cramped space making it an uncomfortable meal.

Just back from a fabulous evening for our belated, Christmas night out!! From start to finish everything was amazing. The cocktails were delicious and unique, service was second to none. The food was outstanding and the personal service from the chef was truly exceptional! We all work in hospitality, so can be quite particular, however the whole evening was wonderful. Hi, My name is Zeynep, and I would like to share my feedback about our visit on Sunday, January 14, 2024 to the Selminas Restaurant & Bar in Coventry. We visited the restaurant for the first time. We were extremely excited to visit a new place. The waiter, Azar, asked me and my friend "private" questions and was being very "handsy" while taking the order. After this incident, we (especially myself) felt extremely uncomfortable until we left the restaurant. We constantly felt the eyes of the waiter named Azar on us. We also changed our table so that he won't be able to see us easily. He acted like he was listening to everything we said. Although the food was delicious, we will never come to this restaurant again because of the waiter's attitude. We feel harassed. No waiter can/is allowed to ask a customer a question about his/her private life in this way, it is obvious that he/she has not learned such things as keeping a distance and being respectful. Won't you train your staff properly? I will be applying to the necessary authorities. Stay away from this "restaurant".

The food is absolutely delicious. We had the tapas and it was so yummy and more than enough to go around! Loved it and will definitely be going again. Hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the street it’s in. Make a trip - it’s SO worth it.

Extremely small and intimate surroundings, and was VERY busy on the night we visited (a good sign on a random wet and windy weeknight in early January. Booking is essential. Food was delicious, the usual Mexican food options you would expect are there, with some interesting takes on traditional or non-Mexican dishes. Food came in good time and everything tasted fantastic. The only minor issue was ( an assumed) corked glass of wine served to one of our party which smelled and tasted completely off, but the waiter was happy to exchange this for an alternative drink free of charge. Really enjoyed our first experience at Selminas, would definitely visit again.

Unplanned dinner visit on New Year's Eve. They could accommodate a table for 2, unbooked, so really pleased. The food was beautiful. The service was perfect. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Went last night after a few months and noticed the food has become really bad now used to be very good, also the server had a bad cold and kept blowing his nose while servicing food really gross!

Excellent quality Mexican food, the service was intimate and friendly. A great choice of food, I was spoilt for choice. The tapas selection looked amazing. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary, and they set a table with rose petals for us, a lovely gesture. We have found our new favourite restaurant and can not wait to come back. Thank you for a great evening 😊

Great food, nice atmosphere and great staff. It was our second visit in the same month so I would definitely recommend. A pity it doesn't have at least one mexican beer on draught, but that's a minor complaint.

Just passing and popped in, able to seat us, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food shame we could only stop for an hour.

The restaurant has a nice vibe and nice staff. If you're a vegan or a vegetarian avoid this place. Nothing is clearly marked as V or Ve. The options are limited and it's mostly just vegetables with cheese on top.

We celebrated a birthday at Selminas in Coventry on December 1st, and it was an outstanding experience. The service was truly exceptional, making us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in. Eminah, the head chef, even took the time to greet us personally, adding a special touch to the evening. The staff's friendliness was noteworthy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the slow-cooked beef ribs and quesadillas, both of which were not only delicious but also showcased the culinary expertise of the kitchen. Selminas is a gem in Coventry, offering not only delectable dishes but also a level of service that elevates the dining experience. Highly recommended for special occasions and those who appreciate quality food paired with impeccable hospitality.

Noisy, hardly any room to move. A waiter actually asked my friend (who was eating at the time) to open the door to go upstairs for him- his hands were full of plates. I mean, seriously? No prices on the menu, Tiny portions! I'm an adult, not a child. The portions would barely feed a sparrow. Very basic service and the bill came to over 90 pounds! For extremely little, the food was only so-so. Would never go again. Absolutely no value for money, terribly overpriced. Was left feeling very underwhelmed. I'm shocked at any positive reviews- this definitely was not my experience. I would prefer to be writing a glowing review but that would be untrue. Could never recommend.

Amazing food, good service only down side is being reminded about the 2 hour booked on to may occasion we did not exceed this, there was no offer of desert or more drinks just a reminder we have 15 minutes and would me like the bill. The food was amazing. The small sharing plates were perfect sizes and full of flavour. The mains were served in beautiful plates and were full of mouth-watering flavours.

Booked in advance for a birthday dinner. It was my first time in Coventry and I wanted more of a local business over a chain and my god was that the right decision. The best haloumi starter I’ve ever had and the fajitas were on point. I was so impressed. It’s so difficult to find good food these days but Selminas nailed it. I will definitely be organising a day out in Coventry just so I can go back!

Came here for its rave reviews. Waiting staff very polite and attentive. Ordered two lots of fajitas that arrived on cold skillets. Of course with fajita's this meant they very quickly became cold ! When this was reported back , with one lot of fajitas not being eaten, the manager was nothing but rude and argumentative. I was told to go into the kitchen and see the food was fresh! The chef was then sent out to argue further until finally she acknowledged that the plates were not heated as they usually are. The manager then came back to say the dish had been paid for by the poor chef ! She then handed us the bill to make it very clear we were not welcomed. Very embarrassing to be spoken to in such an unprofessional way. If you want evidence of this managers rudeness just look at her response to the reviews on Google ! Most of which mention cold food

Lovely little gem of a place. Great food, helpful service and will visit again

My partner and I visited this restaurant on weekday evening. The parking was tricky as there was limited on street parking and parking lot was almost full. However it was easy to make a reservation and we were sat upstairs. The restaurant is very cosy with lots of hanging plants, sombreros and jungle wall paper. The service was impeccable and the waiters were polite and had good sense of humour. We both ordered cocktails which were delicious as was the food which was cooked to perfection. There is a broad menu but I would strongly recommend tapas 3 for £21. My partner is vegetarian and she was very pleased with the flavours of the halloumi and bean dishes. We are both picky eaters but we would highly recommend this restaurant. We were told it is very busy on weekends so we would suggest booking in advance but well worth the visit.
