Seven Seas Fish and Chip Restaurant in Wigan

I had a chicken burger and chips and a bottle of Fanta and I also bought some icecream from their to and It was all very nice To be honest I didn't really want to cook for myself tonight and The staff are very friendly to I like talking to the staff at the chippy

fish is very prro quality, tasted off

Fish was great but poor quality chips which seemed to be frozen ones. Did not eat 90% of chips. Sorry to say but a genuine reflection of our experience today.

Lovely traditional fish and chips and the best cup of tea we have had in ages.

Polite driver apologised for traffic

Driver went to the wrong address and had to chase him down. Ordered the food to arrive at a certain time and it shows up 20 minutes late

Cold soggy chips won't be going again very disappointed

Great fresh fish and chips, staff are lovely and your served quickly. You can eat in or take away.

Chip barm £3.60 Sausage dinner £9.60 I’m sorry but do you get a free holiday when buying the chip barm or sausage dinner. Crazy prices for a chippy in Wigan. I wouldn’t pay that sat in the sun with a sea view for chips and a bit of bread.

Spring rolls were stodgy not at all crispy Overall food was quite bland not it's usual high taste

Ordered at 1830 for delivery at 2000, turned up at 2045. Food was hot and really tasty though so wasn’t a big issue

The quarter pounds cheese burgers are absolutely brilliant perfect best I have come across, good salad too.

Chips were undercooked, didn’t put salt and vinegar on anything when I asked and I’m currently crying watching mashtag because I’m hungover and been looking forward to this all day

The food was cold, the portion size of the chips was poor about half of what they normally send. We had to put the food in the microwave to warm it up. Not worth the money we paid. Very poor in comparison to what they normally send. It has put me off ordering from Seven Seas again, awful

Spotlessly clean, quick & friendly service, and really excellent fish & chips. Eat in, or takeaway.

The driver rang to open the door said he was outside. He was at the wrong address so my order was late and cold. Very poor communication.

Order never arrived, rang up restaurant told nothing they could do but to go through just eat, really werent interested, avoid do not order from here would give zero stars if i could. Poor customer service, will never order here again

Fair prices but the portion sizes of the chips is noticable. They need to be a little more generous with the chips.

The food delivery didn’t even get delivered due the driver putting in the wrong postcode and even after sending a copy of the screen shot which stated the. Correct address he still refused to deliver and also was told by his employer not to deliver , the food was never delivered and no money was refunded this is the second time in less than 10 days the address and postcode has been confused with ?? What actions will you be. Carrying out and when can I expect to receive full refund from this

Disappointed I specifically asked for it not to arrive on a bike as we have had problems before and you sent it out with a bike, and now I'm considering ending my custom with you

I always enjoy the food here but i have just one complaint this time,the delivery driver just dumped my food on the doorstep and went did not give me time to answer door just knocked and went

Worst chippy we’ve ever had. Barely any batter on the fish, batter on the sausage was questionable at best and barely cooked as it was soggy. Chips were also barely cooked. More grease left on the food than in the fryer. Curry sauce was like water, and the “small” sausage was atrocious - £1.70 for a dry and shrivelled up bit of cardboard. Won’t be back.

Again the food was warm, seeing the food arrived on time we expected it to be hot!!!!

Ordered fish chips twice all wrapped separately. Got home to just two bags off chips rang up complained told him to Come back tomorrow for the fish as there closing in 20 minutes jokers i often have my fish and chips in 2 sittings over 2 days 👍🏻🫠

We get fish every week on a Friday tea, we was left disappointed for the first time, the fish was dry like rubber, we only had a very small amount of the three fish, then we chucked the three fish in the bin, we look forward to our chippy tea but not today,

the time went up as we were waiting. Just eat map said driver was in Scholes which is the opposite direction to my house. I only live 3 streets away from the restaurant but waited ages. food was cold.

The delivery time kept being put back later and later so I ended up having to pick up the food myself.

The food was great! The fish was very fresh and nicely cooked, the chips always fresh too, would recommend this one to anyone, best chippy by far! The only thing is when it says "large spring rolls" stating multiple of them it's not it's one large (vegetable) chunky one but it was so good and very tasty, can't put a fault in this place as its always been great!

We like to call in for our lunch on a Saturday on our way to Wigan. All ways quality food and friendly service.

Been for lunch there about 20 times now with my daughter. Went again today. Ate in. Speedy service and top quality fish and chips.

The large gravy could have been a bit larger but the food was excellent.

Everything was cold the chips was rock hard I won't order from just eats anymore the amount you pay them to deliver hot food is ridiculous especially since you pay almost £4 for it to be delivered and I really want a full refund not just an email saying you have refunded it just eats

Chips tasted like cardboard and the battered sausage was extremely pale.

Called in on my way to an appointment to get quick lunch. Long wait as they seem to cook everything to order, which is great cos its fresh but not if your passing and want something quick. I had fish, chips and peas. The fish was outstanding! Lovely white meat and plenty of it. Wasn't over impressed with the chios, they were hard and not tasty. I asked for plenty of salt and vinegar didn't get this and it was all on the fish so nothing on the chips. Probably why I didn't enjoy them as much.

4 hours late. We phoned to cancel, some error with just eat system- we went to alternative chippy. 4 hours after order placed it arrived!! Want money back

Used to be decent. Really poor quality fish and chips. Fish the last few times has been very bland. Chips have been under cooked on many occasions. Service is rather poor as well. I won't be bothering with here again.

Delivery driver spent 13 mins on The phone to me as he said he couldn’t find the location. It’s on a street and a bungalow. On google maps. Food was cold

Delivered by a courier on a bike, went passed the house twice , and delivered with a cigarette hanging out his mouth which was disgusting. Because it was late the food was not hot as it is usually from seven seas which always send great food, so this spoilt our meal

I'm getting fed up of food being late. I was given a discount voucher from. The previous late order and it had expired. Not happy

Poor was cold. We didn’t get much for our money. Portion size was small. Wouldn’t order through just eat again.

This is the best chippy in Wigan. Traditional fish & chips shop. The food is of really good quality. Proper chips. It's a 5 star from me & my son. Rachel

Delivery was prompt. Food was good, we had the cod and it wasn’t at all greasy unlike some other chip shops.

Late by 10 minutes is on time in my book. Excellent quality & food piping hot. No problems at all.

Came with a bag and it was missing chips from the steak pudding meal and from the kids meal tried phoning but no answer contacting just eat its automated on website it doesnt give full order of extra add ons that have to pay for just the main order

Pudding had been microwaved I think, which is a no no from me , won’t be ordering this again I’m afraid

I live very local so go often. If I've returned from travels handy to nip in and get a ' chippy tea' Their steak puddings are also great, and lunch time specials great value if you dont want a massive portion. If i have fish I order it lightly battered so they catter for you preference in 3 sizes of cod or haddock. I've been dozens of times and never had bad meal, Staff always friendly and helpful. If a theres a queue you can order your fish straight away, so its ready for you.

Food was shocking. Sausages were hard and not for consumption. Very disappointed

Item missing rang restaurant to be told they can refund it...not much help when I've got three people to feed and only two main items!!
