Shabna Tandoori in Bolton

I wanted to leave a review just to say how wonderful the team at Shabna are. Always polite and courteous when they drop off the food. An item was accidentally missed off my order (which I immediately forgave because they are always so spot on with my order) and the lovely staff took it upon themselves to bring me some bits and pieces the day after to make up for it. What an absolutely brilliant restaurant. The food is also delicious and made with love. Thank you Shabna :)

Tandori Chicken biriani. Amazing.

Had a delivery, on time, they said we would get free poppadoms with the order, but unfortunately, we didn't receive any, e e everything we paid fir arrived.

Very tasty food , would highly recommend . We tried the Chicken Biryani and pappadums.💫

Great food and brilliant service

Used to be my favourite place, however, chips are always soggy, cold and flavourless and the containers the curry comes in is piping hot! The amount of times I've burnt myself is crazy, especially when the chips feel like they've just come out of the freezer but the curry feels like lava! It's just getting more and more disappointing. The naan is always burnt and most of the food is always cold. Edit: had it a few more times now and one thing I've noticed is the masala always tastes different (unless I just have weird tastebuds) but it's still delicious. Changed my tunes because the chips are nicer now, I extended my palate to other dishes which are decadent and this is definitely my comfort takeaway and the best in the area.

I've tried many curry's across the country in my time and this is by far the best wow is all I can say I have a lamb madras and lamb is so tender and sauce is not greasy like other take aways always fast friendly delivery and now I'll never go anywhere else for an Indian take away

Tried the delivery service for the first time tonight, have to say I’m immensely disappointed and won’t be returning. Ordered a buttered chicken with pilau rice, the curry was gritty and in all honesty the overpowering taste of sugar was disgusting. The full meal went in the bin, nobody willing to eat it. The chicken appearance isn’t right either, the majority was thin strips but very very dark in colour on the outside. The only positive was the speed of delivery and the cheery attitude of the driver.

At the ripe old age of 62 I still haven't found anywhere near as good. So don't bother trying anywhere else now 😊

Food was absolutely delicious , stumbled across this take away last week as the smell was enticing , later came back to order which was 15 minutes before closing time and the staff were more than accommodating. Food was full of flavour, really good portions, friendly helpful staff , hot food and brilliant prices . Lovely and clean inside. They offer delivery too. We have come back tonight for round two . Food usually very good but last night our food was not ok massala sauce was pink seemed watered down chicken was tuff tinned mushrooms in my dish that does not have them in any other time dishes were completely different won't go again now sorryb

Food was appalling, £54 wasted!! Our food seemed as though it had been kept warm and was overcooked, onion bhajis were cakey, rogan josh, masala and korma was simply not up to their normal standard, most was thrown away and quite frankly the worst I’ve had from anywhere. Been using these guys for years, tonight was enough for me to never return.

Ordered, never turned up rang and they said they will not deliver. Guys were really rude, would not use.

Used Shabna many times and always satisfied. However extremely disappointing last night. Food, which was in excess of £22, was delivered 35 minutes late and much of it was luke warm or cold. Chips were awful. Possibly undertook many deliveries and we were last so food been carried around for some time. Mentioned it to deliverer but no response!! Have to consider whether order from here again.

The new Shabna Tandoori is THE gaff. My friend ordered from flavours of India even tho I said to get from Shabna and it proved the point that The New Shabna is the best Indian about, the chops are on point,the masala is bad boy and the rice is cooked the perfection. I don’t even live in Bolton I live in Radcliffe but this Indian does numbers I’m telling you now get it ordered you won’t be disappointed! Safe!!

Curry was great but the sides were burnt. Bhajis were a bit black, pakora was dry and over cooked. Masala was lacking chicken so the portions don’t seem great. First time I’ve ordered from this place. All In al it was nice, but too many rough edges.

Called for Takeaway Saturday evening, when I called to pick up they were very busy, but that should not excuse the very poor quality of my meal, I ordered Chicken madras, chips and 2 Chapatti's, the Chicken was very dry and tough, and there was only one chapatti

Food was very poor. Have ordered before and was nice. All the food was cold when received. Curry was not jalfrezi. Just seems like used a basic sauce and added to all the curries. Biryani was not even biryani. Delivery came 45 mins late unable to contact take away. Tried almost 40 times before having to go via justeat. Poor all around which was a shame.

Ordered a mix kebab but received a doner kebab!

We ordered last night through uber eats because we had a voucher. The food was very good, hot and on time. The delivery driver was smart and polite. We will be ordering again!

Food was good but app said out for delivery at 20.00 but delivery was at 20.35 we are only 5 min drive from the take away. Delivery was 90 mins after order on order time said 40 to 60 mins.

Gorgeous!. First time customer and I'm glad I tried here. Wanted a lovely meal for our 37 year wedding anniversary and they didn't disappoint. The food was on time, hot and delicious! The best poppadoms I have ever had. This is my new go to takeaway. The5 star food hygiene rating sold it to us as well as the reviews from other customers. Very happy.
