Great idea, poorly executed. Inexperienced and disorganised staff. The ordering was seamless and the server very friendly and helpful. That was the only redeeming element of the experience. Waited 15 minutes for a shake to be made. Burger sat there for 10 minutes. When prompted, the server laughed and said the machine was playing up. It wasn’t. User error. Huge queues of people waiting for food that was ready. Replacing the current manager with extra napkins might improve the customer experience. Don’t bother.

AVOID, went yesterday around 15:00, got 2 smoke shake shacks and 1 fries take away, got charged 38£. Quite poor quality I am a 3 time monthly customer via deliveroo and pretty much know the quality, extremely over burn burger full of oil, upset for the rip off and poor quality but the worse was yet to come. 4/5 hours later we started to have some headache, my partner was fine until 12h later aprox was vomiting the burger and spent all day today with fever, I was more lucky only got a toilet throne due to the diarrhea that burger cause me. I guess as the brand expands the product quality reduces really not the same as a few years and you definitely lost a customer.

Truly appalling. £32 for one burger one fries and two shakes. Felt completely scammed. Burger - tiny, around the size of the smallest McDonald’s burger , soggy overall with dry overcooked meat. Worse than the 99p McDonald’s burger. Fries - asked for cheesy chips, came though with some strange plastic tasting yellow fake cheese which kids both tried and refused to eat despite being very hungry. Shakes - complete scam, lump of ice cream with a straw but tiny thin straw so none of us could drink the shake as it was a lump not a drink - shake should come with a knife/fork/spoon , it’s more like a pudding so with just a straw none of us could actually get the solid ice cream lump into our mouths. I really hope these scammers go out of business which is what they deserve. Ambience - there isn’t any, it feels just like any overcrowded McDonald’s.

The unfriendly staff seemed too preoccupied to concern themselves with customer service. My single burger order was clearly a challenge to prepare, as people behind me in the queue, with bigger orders, were served first. When my burger eventually arrived it was tiny! £8.80 and it barely filled a hole in my tooth. Not to mention that there wasn’t much flavour to it. The most underwhelming burger experience I have ever had. I use this airport regularly but won’t be back here for food!

I had a very friendly manager serving us today - Ranu. Burgers and shakes hit the spot with my boys and I had a glass of wine to start the holiday in the right way!

A complete waste of money, bordering a rip-off! 36 pounds for 2 small and bland burgers, dry tasteless fries and a pint of urine-looking lager which also tasted like it! This is a huge traveler tourist trap and money-making machine. Will not be going to Shock-sh*t again!

We were prepared for the fact we would be paying over the odds as it is at Gatwick, but the minimum requirement then is that the food is okay. I know, it's a fast food place, what did I expect? My rating is not comparing Shake Shack to ordinary restaurants, but to my fast food experiences. £35 got us two burgers, one chips and one drink. After the inevitable 20 minute wait (fast food ???) we received two tepid burgers that were small, squashed and tasteless. The chips were overcooked and sparse considering the price. None of it looked the photos. We felt ripped off. I will never eat via Shake Shack again and share my experience as a warning to others. If you think I am someone that is prone to complaining about restaurants, please see my others reviews which will show I am generally very happy with what I get.

First visit to a Shake Shack and will be my last. Very small burger and tasteless. Long wait for so called fresh burger, how come it wasn’t hot when I got it. Plenty of better places to eat in the Terminal. AVOID

Queue was very long for the nearby Sonoma outlet so thought we would try this chain. Won’t be bothering again. Filled a gap, but nothing more. Stodgy egg and cheese breakfast bap with fries. Coffee average.

I am shocked the size of the burgers here. I been to many in London and the ones they serve at Gatwick are children size compared. For £9 burger I would expect a lot more

Never seen a Shake Shack in the UK before….I have to admit, despite the queue to be served, it was one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever eaten

I forgot to write a review and I just remembered as I was going through my wallet and saw the Jamie's Coffee Lounge review card. I went to Gatwick last year, I think it was August or September time. I had a nice pesto and mozzarella sandwich, I think, my mom had a coffee. Our staff that day were Kristina and Lucia, many thanks to them for a nice service and their positive attitude, very much appreciated. My sandwich was delicious and my mom enjoyed her coffee. All is good despite the prices, good old London haha.

To put it bluntly Yes it is that BAD!. Used to be called Chiana Peking & when it failed they rebranded it Mings. Greasy unpleasant food. zero manners from manager when things go wrong. Ordered a sweet & sour battered chicken, it to arrive with no Sweet & sour sauce? only to be told you have to pay for the sauce extra Yes Really!.

My wife went to Starbucks car park, Southgate Park, Stansted Airport to get a coffee as my flight got delayed. She parked at Starbucks car park for 26 min, but Starbucks was already closed that time. MET Parking services sent parking charge notice as she was not considered a customer as Starbucks was closed. The parking fee notice board clearly says 60 min free for customers. She did not know that once Starbucks closed, she had to pay from the minute she parked. Be careful, MET Parking Services must have raised millions from people simply displaying misleading information.

A large group of us had a meal here for a darts team night out and we're very disappointed the service was very bad staff didn't really look like they know what they were doing and a lot of the group I was with didn't like the food (mine was very nice) a lot of stuff had to be sent back for being incorrect and the price was a rip off almost £5 I paid for a bottle of beer won't be going again

I ordered for my lunch break at work, I ordered 1.5 hours in advance an booked a delivery time as I only get 30mins for lunch. The restraunt accepted the order an verified the time slot. 5 mins before my lunch break they decided to cancel my order, leaving me working a 12 hour shift without food or time to make any other sort of order.... (they didn't even bother to call an give me a heads up), I only noticed the email once the time slot had actually passed, my food was late, a 3rd of my break already gone. So I was looking for the receipt so I could get the number to check where my food is an that's when I found the email informing me it's not coming 😔 I understand stuff happens but not to call an let me know 🤔 I think that's just awful way to treat customers who's bookings an money you already accepted, they did issue a refund but it's not the point here.
