Shambles Kitchen in York

I visited for a quick lunch when out and about. The staff were really friendly and the service was speedy. There’s a varied menu of meat and veggie/vegan options. There’s also options for those wanting/needing to eat gluten-free. I had a beef burrito with a range of extra side bits that were all included in the price. It was absolutely delicious! It’s not that easy to eat without slopping it down yourself, but it’s so worth the risk! I’ll be visiting again next time I go to York.

My wife and I have been in York for 2 days and whilst going through the Shambles market we noticed a burrito stall that catered for vegans. We gave it a try and were not disappointed with our burritos. They were brilliant! Extremely tasty and very filling. Great food and good value for money. The young man on the stall was also very friendly. We liked them so much that we went back and had another the next day.

I always enjoy a visit to the food court at Shambles Market as there are so many great choices on offer. Shambles Kitchen have a great little burrito stall here which is definitely worth a visit. You can choose your favourite filling from pork, chicken, beef or their amaxing vegan Yucatan jackfruit. Add a dollop of guacamole for a little bit extra and top everything off with one of their amazing sauces. Absolutely delicious. Fast and friendly service too. A definite winner if you're looking for a tasty lunch.

I treat myself to one of the these delicious burritos whenever I can. I haven't tried the jackfruit, but I highly recommend all of the of the others. The staff are always great and chatty and the portions are generous and the quality superb! Thank you guys for always improving my day 😁
