We order from here regularly now. It's good value and the specials are so delicious. We have ordered when friends have come round and everyone always enjoys the food. I usually pick up as the delivery times are usually double the pick up times.

The best ever crispy chilli beef. We have used this take away 4 times now and it’s good. The ribs, crispy beef and chow mien are brilliant. Impressed.

Ordered food to be delivered at 8.40pm. Delivery person tried to deliver at 7.40pm when no one was home. When food arrived at correct time it was cold and had obviously been waiting around for an hour before being delivered. Not had a problem before but it has put us off.

Food was very bland especially the Singapore fried rice - the duck was very over cooked. Wouldn't order again. We collected our order so can't rate on delivery.

Ordered 2 prawn crackers and only got 1 bag. Ordered at 8:50 and received food at 10:20. Salt & pepper chips were poor, spring roles didn't have anything in them. Chicken and sweet corn soup was very very salt. Overall very poor and won't be ordering from here again.

My order took over an hour and a half to arrive. I wrang after an hour and was told it would be with me in the next few minutes, it arrived half an hour after that. When the food finally arrived it was cold. Was not offered an apology. Very disappointed.

Food was cold even though we had collected at the time they advised and over bearingly salty. Although the takeaway did call us to make us aware it was ready for collection.

Quick delivery in about 25 minutes, but prawn toast was close to burnt, and the satay duck - though not marked as hot, was so spicy it left my stomach hurting for over 24 hours afterwards!

Food arrived cold and the driver refused to come anywhere near the apartment building so had to leave the premises to retrieve the food from him.

Great food and a brilliant deal for 4 dishes for £11 however I placed my order at 6:30 pm and it didn't arrive until 7:45 pm so the service time is awful and I'd give that no stars if I had the choice! Bare in this in mind if you order from here to order it an hour before you plan to eat for it to be there on time.

First of all I wouldn't give any stars if possible. They sent the wrong thing and then when I called to discuss the problem they said I could have what I ordered next time. Awful customer service, the food was under average. I assume the delivery was quick because of the bad quality of food. Wouldn't recommend ever!

Food was really nice, however Having spent over £35 we would have thought to be given free prawn crackers as this is usually the case when ordering Chinese so we didn't put any on the order and we didn't receive any. Maybe this is our own fault 😂

Waited for so long and after numerous calls to the restaurant, the guy only told me my food was on the way. I tried asking for the driver's phone number so I could call him and ask how far away he was but the guy just hung up. Really not happy with the service and the waiting time. And I am still waiting.

Absolutely awful, waited over 2 hours for our take-away, for it to them turn up cold and for things to be missing. After ringing to say items were missing, and I wanted a refund for them, they hung up on my. Disgusting service.

We were kept waiting 1 hours and 55 minutes for our food. We called several times and we received the same response that 'our food was on its way' each time. By the time the food eventually got here it was cold. Would definitely not order from here again.

Terrible. Everything about this meal was terrible.rice missed off the order. Satay Chicken was akin to Vinegar Strokes and everything else was tepid. waited an hour and a half and tried to call up to request they take away the food as it's inedible but there was no answer. After 50 calls. I'll be dropping the food back with Shanghai Garden tomorrow and demanding a refund.

It was cold. Took ages to arrive. Tried to ring the takeaway and they told me it is my problem it was cold I wanted a full refund because I didn't eat it and they said there is nothing they can do. Will never ever ever ever order from them or Justeat again. Unless this is sorted.

I received only ONE soup when I ordered two. And I gave explicit instructions for VEGETARIAN noodles, even chose the vegetarian options, and instead I was met with COLD noodles containing PRAWN and BEEF. The delivery driver just ran off when I asked him abut my food, claiming he just knew the restaurant's name. I called them up, and conveniently nobody answered. Terrible service, don't order from here.

Driver parked up the wrong st. Needed instruction from me on the phone and by the time he'd worked out he was on the wrong street my food had gone cold and sweated in the bag leaving it soggy. Prawn crackers chewy. Not good

Our takeaway took two hours to arrive, and we started trying to phone up an hour after it was due. They didn't pick up the phone for 45 minutes of constant calling, and when they did were very short and rude on the phone. When we complained and asked for a discount because our food was over an hour late they first refused, before then offering a derisory £1.50. We managed to finally haggle them down to a £6.50 discount (still only about 20% off), and the food did eventually arrive. Very slow delivery and terrible customer service mean we won't be ordering from here again, which is a shame because the food was very nice.

The restaurant tried to overcharge and the delivery driver was very aggressive and refused to leave the house when we would not not pay the excess that was not on our just eat receipt our also the food quality was very poor burnt chips and the prawns were inedible and smelt gone off

Food was late and needed reheating before we could eat it. Order came to exactly £18 but when delivery arrived they asked for £18.70. Not very impressed.

Usually a very, very, happy, regular customer however the last couple orders have gotten progressively poorer. Delivery times missed and food cold/wrong. On this occasion we ordered at 17:43 and were originally quoted 18:30 delivery. This then changed to 19:00 and didn't actually arrive until after 19:15. This time food was warm but they gave us Szechuan prawns instead of crispy chicken. Decided against phoning the takeaway service as we'd already waited an hour and a half for our food. Received a free bottle of warm Coke because we wasted £35 on the order. Only given one star for delivery as it wouldn't allow me to submit the review otherwise it wouldn't have one. Will not be visiting again.

Ordered salt and pepper prawns, which were nice. Boiled rice was also nice, with the small portion being a rather large portion and good value for money. Disappointed with the mapo tofu as they used deep fried tofu instead of silken tofu. Asked for no onions on my order but got what seemed like a whole onion. Delivery was before estimated and driver polite enough. Decent pricing.

Absolutely disgusting, the food came 20 minutes later than the time we were given (an hours wait) and when it arrived we were still required to pay for delivery. Order from Shanghai garden about once a month and we usually love it but tonight was extremely disappointing. Delivery driver was extremely rude and acted like it was an inconvenience for him to be there. Order was wrong, ordered the Thai green curry with chicken and it came with prawns which I am allergic to so couldn't have my main. We also asked for satay sauce on the side of skewers as I like the sauce and my partner does not but we just got no sauce at all! So rude delivery driver and food wrong and poor standard, need to find a new place to order from!

Order took a while to come even though it is only down the road. Bbq sauce is more like gravy wouldn't order that again. Salt and pepper chips could do with being more salty & spicy. But would order again just something different.

Meal did not arrive until considerably after the estimated arrival time (30 minutes). The driver didn't know the address and had to ring. When I was given the meal I explicitly asked "Is this everything?" to which he replied "Yes". It was not. The gourmet starter was missing the crispy seaweed and the Duck in Plum Sauce was neither duck or in plum sauce. The food quality overall was good but it wasn't what I ordered, took ages to get here and, considering I didn't get everything, over-priced.

The delivery was super slow. Not only was the food cold and tasteless, but we are now also puking our guts up. I would not recommend this takeaway.
