I usually enjoy the food but last nights wasn’t as nice, the curry sauce was very thin and also my special curry didn’t have any prawns, I didn’t enjoy my food

food dry chips cold curry sauce so thick crispy chicken wings ment to be crispy not crispy at all robs chewy don't thing I be ordering again not nice

asked for the beef curry to be slightly hotter but chilly powder was just sprinkled and left on top rather than mixed in to the curry, this spoiled the taste. shame as everything else was lovely.

The culinary experience was truly exceptional, with impeccable service from beginning to end.

Good was cold upon arrival, had more onions than chicken and mushrooms and had to reheat.

Avoid..first time ordering and the food turned up cold, the prawn crackers are stale and clearly from the weekend, there’s no sauce on the special to the point it’s dry and there are 2 prawns in the whole dish. In addition the oil used is clearly also from the weekend as the smell on the food is awful. I’m a Chinese fan and eat a lot it but this is very very disappointing I won’t ever order from here again.

Amazing! ordered for a specific time and it was bang on, piping hot, fresh. had some order notes and they were followed to the book although I wouldn't of minded the veg on the salt and chilli wings I do understand my notes said "no veg in anything" 🤣, will definitely be ordering again!

Third time eating from Mr rice. Brilliant food. So full of flavour ! Delivery can take a while but worth the wait not had a bad meal yet.

Brilliant fresh and tasty big portions

It was a lovely meal, but the ribs were dry, the bbq sauce was very salty and the beef with mushrooms had too much fish sauce in it.

Ordered a few times now and every time the food has been lovely and delivered on time. There was a mistake with the order tonight but rang the restaurant and they delivered the correct item within 15 minutes and piping hot. Very good food and service.

Ordered delivery which was super late but food was terrible chewy gross beef pieces and chicken sweet and sour balls horrible. Would not use again telephoned to complain no refund offered just a discount on next purchase, which was not going to happen would not recommend at all .

Portion size was amazing and is certainly one of the better Chinese places I've ordered from. Mr Rice has now become my go to Chinese. the double happiness is wow!

Good food, don’t give many 5 stars to places unless it’s exceptional. Feel like it could have stated that the chicken balls came with curry as brother isn’t usually too keen on curry.

Very food. First time ordering. Good prices. I payed the same price but for one person at a different place. I payed for 2 meals for that price. Very nice, I requested for mushrooms and a bit spicey and they did exactly that. Nice chips aswell unlike other places I have been to, even PirFinoi is not all that. Thank You, will order again!

Was not keen on the Chicken used in the Chicken Chow Mein, it wasn’t the best. The noodles in the chow Mein was tasty

Our usual Chinese was closed, and we used to use new jade garden on occasion when ours was closed, but when we arrived it looked like it had changed hands/ name The Sweet and sour chicken balls wasn’t all that nice, and the sauce was almost like jelly Egg fried rice and curry sauce and chicken chow mein was nice though. Chips were under cooked and still hard in the middle. This was around £7 more expensive than our usual but wasn’t nowhere near as nice. Also menu states from salt and chilli chips over £25 but we didn’t get these and we spent over £29 I wouldn’t come here again I would look at going to another one, if our usual one is closer again

This is my new go-to for Chinese takeaway. I really like every aspect of the food. I'd have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the curry sauce; it's too spicy which overpowers any flavour. Everything else I've tried is excellent. I recieved the wrong sauce last time, I called to let them know and within 5 minutes the driver was at my door with the correct sauce. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Food not hot, 2hrs late. Crispy chicken didnt have chicken in batter just a few dry bits. Phoned restaurant 3 times and was fobbed off with its on its way! When it clearly wasnt. I spent over £45 pounds and expected better food and service on delivery.

Went to order my normal meal the other night online and instead of £13.10 it is now £23.70, didn't order and won't be again, I know things have gone up in price but that takes the p---

New management, wish I'd know this before hand, food was very bland and had no taste. My favourite Chinese by far...WON'T be using there again!!!

Just been in to new management ordered my normal chicken and sweetcorn soup prawn toast jade Garden special chow mein battered chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce and a black bean sauce found the chicken and sweetcorn soup bland no taste watery and chicken was shreaded instead of chunks in it prawn toast was ok special chow mien meat was over cooked apart from the beef battered chicken balls chicken was dry and batter soggy sweet and sour sauce was ok but blackbean sauce was very watery free chicken toast felt very slimey when eating best part was the prawn crackers not planning on using the place again anytime soon where as used to use it alot

I ordered from here last night it took an hour and forty minutes to arrive I phoned three times to see when the meal was going to be delivered they kept saying ten minutes I live a five minute drive away but still took an hour and forty?.when i plated up my supposed to be beef curry it was chicken and two pieces of beef in it and it was vile the most disgusting meal ive ever had from a Chinese and ive had some bad ones in the past but this place takes the biscuit absolutely disgusting food all I can say is dont order from here if you love Chinese food you will be very disappointed

The food is absolutely Suberb! This has to be the best Chinese takeaway by far, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for one.

It took over 2 hours for our food to arrive and when it did it was luke warm, called the restaurant several times and they couldn't give me a time food would arrive. Won't be ordering from here again

I had the best salt and pepper box ever from this Chinese, the food is to die for. Tastes very nice The new owners are really friendly, also get a free fortune cookie. I highly recommend this Chinese. I have had the curry and will order more especially the chefs menu. They are also flexible to provide me with food that are not in the menu. Highly recommend you try their chow main dishes. 10/10!!!
