Lovely evening with the girls on a Tuesday evening staff couldn’t do enough for us

Food is minimal portion, just okay. Price has increased significantly. No competition. Parking is still a challenge.

We went for the lunch menu, it was very nice we were all well looked after. After around 8 hours my husband and I started feeling sick, we had the lamb shish and calamari starter, these dishes were strongly advised by our waiter not sure if it was because they needed to sell those plates... Anyways I'm making this review after we have been violently ill, vomiting all night and feeling extremely weak. The rest of our guest had the chicken they are fine thank Goodness. This was the only meal that we had in common so we suspect it was either the calamari or the lamb. We have been unfortunately food poisoned.

Food very good, service good with polite & friendly staff. Music was a little loud and the singer was a bit much toward the end of our booking but it was new years eve so entertainment was to be expected. Set menu only but food was good

Had a lovely birthday dinner with husband at this place! Gabby took our order and made some very good suggestions based on our preferences from the menu. Ordered babaganoush, calamari, mixed kebab, sarma beyti lamb and pistachio dessert. Food was delicious with big portions and tasted so good. Had to takeaway the mains we couldn’t finish. Great service although fairly busy and very nice ambiance! The staff made it special with a surprise birthday song and ice cream at the end, thank you 🥰

We spent Christmas at Shish Meze and everything was perfection. The Wagyu beef slides was an excellent starter followed by the Short Beef rib. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming

I went to this restaurant for a Christmas Work Dinner / Party. The aesthetic of this restaurant is really pleasant, along with staff being lovely and welcoming. The food was nice, but starters were not enough to be shared around. However, I would say that the drinks are certainly overpriced and the baklava could be better. But overall, it was a beautiful evening :)

I highly recommend the Sea Bass it’s one of the best I’ve ever had, It’s the 3rd time we’ve been here now & it’s just as good every time. Everything else we’ve tried here is so tasteful & looks amazing. The restaurant has a nice ambience with really friendly amazing waiters & staff. We enjoyed a lovely meal here. The service was warm and responsive (Thanks Sherry!). The food was excellent and arrived piping hot which we really appreciated. Portions were large (not all my chips are in the picture!) Overall I’d happily recommend.

I had the pleasure of dining at Shishmeze in Hornchurch twice in two days – first for lunch yesterday and now for dinner – and I must highlight the exceptional service and recommendations from one of your waiters, Sherry. Yesterday, when I asked for his advice on what to have for lunch, Sherry suggested a dish from lunch menu that I had never tried before. His recommendation was fantastic, exceeding my expectations. Because of Sherry’s kindness, attentiveness, and brilliant suggestions, I returned for dinner today. Once again, Sherry recommended a meal that was even better than yesterday’s – a true standout from the à la carte menu. As I celebrate my birthday week and reflect on my blessings, I truly appreciate how Sherry’s excellent service and thoughtful guidance have elevated my dining experience. He has been a key reason for my return and is a credit to Shishmeze. Thank you, Sherry, for your wonderful hospitality and for making these meals so memorable. I highly recommend Shishmeze to anyone, and I will certainly be returning again.

Fantastic food and service. Sherry did some amazing card tricks after our meal that we are still mind blown by and trying to figure out! The kids and us absolutely loved the tricks! We will back very soon for the good food, great service and fantastic entertainment!

Good food I must admit, waiters however always seem to be in a rush to get rid of customers to free up table space. If customer service was top notch would have been 5 stars.

One if the best restaurants in the area, anazing food, atmosphere and service. I really recommend this place. Try it and you will return.

Experience completely ruined by the same music blasting out the whole time we were there. It’s repetitive and monotonous. It totally dominated every minute, no chance of any conversation.

I recently visited Shish Meze with my family and had a great experience. The food was delicious, with everything cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was excellent too—staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it an enjoyable spot for a family outing. It’s nice to have such a good restaurant nearby, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Delicious food and amazing services. We even had brilliant card magic tricks from Sherry. Could not of asked for more from this restaurant. Probably the best restaurant I have ever been to.
