Delicious meal in a lovely environment and the staff were warm and friendly creating a great atmosphere. I look forward to going again.

Enjoyed a lovely evening at this authentic Sicilian restaurant. It was our first visit but it won’t be our last. Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the evening and the service was excellent. It was my husband’s birthday and they made a fuss of him throughout making the evening extra special. Food was exceptional- so many delicious choices and all freshly cooked- the best homemade pasta I have ever tasted. The only negative was that we found where we were sitting a bit on the cool side as there was a draft from the door, but otherwise 11/10! Thank you for a very enjoyable evening

This is an absolute gem of a little restaurant. The antipasto starter is fantastic and the specials are changed regularly to fit with a theme. All of the food I have tried here is made with some true passion. Wine menu is great and very reasonably priced.

This place is a gem! The food is seriously amazing and totally authentic. The owner and staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home.

We arrived having not booked and were greeted with a warm welcome. They were extremely busy with a large party that filled half the restaurant so needed to check with the kitchen that they could accommodate us. Once seated we had the best experience, the food was delicious and the service impressively efficient and friendly. This unassuming restaurant is clearly owned/managed by true Sicilians who are passionate about what they do. We’ll be back!

Everyone who served us was warm, friendly and attentive. Went for my birthday and received a free drink, a little candle in my dessert and a sing! Felt very comfortable and welcome here. Food was yummy! Would recommend 🥰

Brilliant restaurant. Clean and spacious. The service was great and the staff were very welcoming. We had not made a reservation, but they made space for us, which we are grateful for. The food recommendations were excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Only fault was, we sat by the window, and it was cold.

I have known this place since it opened! It was 2019 and I loved it from the first moment. Every time I go the staff is friendly, polite, kind and always has the ability to make you feel welcome! The dishes, what can I say, always improve and they are always super tasty as if you were in Italy, in Sicily! The chef is something incredible, the pizza chef is the best, he remembered that I don't like rosemary on pizza.. what can I say?!? thx to bring here part of Italy, the beautiful Sicily! when you go to them you feel pampered from the welcome at the entrance to the table service ending with the unique dishes! Absolutely 5/5 ♥️

A very friendly restaurant with a good range of food and drinks

I feel bad for having maybe misjudged Chesterfield. We were staying at the Chesterfield North Premier Inn while our son was playing in a sports event near Sheffield, and we hadn't been sure where would be good to eat in Chesterfield. But the night before we'd had an excellent meal at one local restaurant, and tonight at the Sicily Restaurant we had another meal which was quite different but equally delicious. The restaurant has a lovely decor and generally very welcoming atmosphere, the tables are nicely spaced out, and service is efficient and very friendly. Particular food highlights for us were the arancini ai funghi starter, the spaghetti carbonara main, and the profiterole dessert, but everything the three of us had was excellent. All washed down with a bottle of red from a decent selection of Sicilian and Italian wines. Top class all round, and nice to see every table taken while we were there.

Always lovely here. Welcoming & friendly staff. Food is always absolutely delicious, so much to choose from and always a hard decision what to go for because it all sounds, looks & smells delicious!! So refreshing to visit a little restaurant packed full of vibrant colours yet has such a cozy feel.

Sicily is still the best. I'm so grateful we have a restaurant as good as this nearby.

Nice, fresh Italian food and great service

Went here for a friends birthday. Limited choices but enough to choose between a couple of pasta dishes, pizza's & risotto's (mains). I was going to have pasta but was tasked into the pizza choice. The topping was tasty, but unfortunately the dough was chewy. I couldn't cut the edges with the provided cutter, the base was chewy which made it hard to eat. So ate the topping and a bit of crust but it was too hard to bite through. ((I do have all of my own teeth!)) friendly and accommodating staff! 1st time I've been, would go again but wouldn't have pizza. You could access this venue in a wheel chair, only a small step in car park. Limited parking but free.

First timers. Stunning food, warm and friendly service, great wine and cocktails. Can not wait to return with the rest of the family. Thank you.

A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.

We booked for a meal with friends. On arriving we received a very warm welcome from Monica and the staff. I have a severe nut allergy which they were made aware off before we visited and ensured i was able to have the items i requested. Food was lovely, presentation, staff attentive couldn't do enough for us. Hghly recommend. thank you for a great meal. Will be backx

This was such a treat - I’m not sure why we haven’t been before. The service was excellent - the food very very good. Be warned the portions are big - I had a starter portion of mussels for my main and still couldn’t eat it all. My husband is coeliac - staff were knowledgeable and helpful This was our first time there - it will not be our last !!

Went for a family meal. Around 10 of us pre orderd the meal ,which we were asked to do. Attentive and friendly staff. Not much waiting. Seems quite popular and was pretty busy. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Friendly service, exceptional food, authentic Italian. Wonderful place to go when wanting to go out with family. They have created a very authentic Italian atmosphere. I would highly recommend this when looking for nice and authentic Italian food. They didn’t rush you when to order even when busy, as well as this they don’t rush you in between courses. You are able to have a conversation with family without having to shout to one another. I am definitely looking forward to coming soon.

Overpriced for the portions sizes. Pizzas were overcooked and lacking flavour. Wouldn't visit again.

This was a wonderful evening for us. As a large party of 10 it is often difficult for us to get in all together but this was no problem for them and we didn't feel cramped or rushed. First visit this evening and very impressed, a lovely welcome on arrival and once seated the waiter spent time to explain the specials on the board We were brought water and quickly offered an aperitif, once we had made our choices on food,it wasn't rushed but neither was service too slow The food itself was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented The whole experience was really good and we will definitely return

The best pizza I've ever eaten in my life and I swear I've visited so many places. But arriving in England and finding such good pizza was not in my expectations. The service was excellent, from the waiters to the super fantastic owners.

We had a delicious meal here in the summer and were now in the area again. It is always exciting to come back somewhere after a long time, but this was absolutely no disappointment. Delicious food as we hoped for.

The food was AMAZING! I had the Fritura Mista which was divine. However, the best part of this experience was our waitress Monica who was genuinely the loveliest, most attentive, best waitress I’ve ever had! She was so friendly 🫶🏻Highly recommend this place🌸

My wife and I with a friend booked a table at the Restaurant , which for us was a welcome return. Service was helpful and very friendly. Nice Menu with some additional ' Specials ' . We had the Anti-Pasta Starter , which the three of us shared. This was delicious. My friend and I both opted for Pollo Vulcano for Main and my wife had the Seafood and Cous Cous. Lovely dishes washed down with a Beer and some House Wine. The Restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere and a pleasing ambiance. Prices were very reasonable. Sicily is a top Restaurant and provided us with a lovely evening. We will return. Thank you to the excellent Staff. To be highly recommended !

This was the first visit to Sicily in a long time, the menu was varied and well priced I had the meat ball starter which was spot on I followed with the main course of a cous cous with mussels prawns and squid which was very tasty and perfectly cooked, for dessert I had the ice cream with limonchello. Overall a great meal in a lovely restaurant with fantastic staff. We will be back very soon.

Lovely authentic Sicilian dining at a reasonable price. The food is excellent and not run-of-the-mill generic British-Italian fair. The deserts are particularly good. Very warm and welcoming staff, who are friendly and attentive.

The menu is varied and interesting, with extra thought given to providing home-made pasta, for example, and every sauce had beautiful ingredients, with that extra little touch, such as pistachio powder on the Caserrecce! Makes all the difference! The chef has tenderly and cleverly brought the traditional Sicilian food into the 2020s! We had mixed starters, including divine Burrata(veryposh Mozzarella!),a range of salamis, tapenade, olives and delicious tomato bruschetta, the latter so fresh it felt as if the tomatoes had just been picked! Our main courses were a range of home-made pastas with swordfish, pistachio and fennel sausage in fresh tomato or other. House wine was good. Desserts were shared across the five of us, as they were so large and we were so full! The desserts were Cassata, Tiramisu and Dark Chocolate warmed pudding with vanilla cream top,all delicious, followed by macchiatos and limoncello gratis. A totally wonderful experience in a restaurant with with a very nice vibe, lovely staff and with super quality. What a fabulous restaurant and nice people!. All the food is really good even better then many others restaurants in Sicily (I'm sicilian) and also many traditional meals are fantastic!. This was our second time but we'll be back!. Recommended!. :-)

Always a pleasure to eat here. Excellent quality food ( and lots of it, no small portions here ) and very helpful staff. Extensive menu plus daily specials, all very fresh and tasty.

Food was absolutely delicious! However the portion was unbelievably small! It did not even fill the bowl it was in 25percent ! Came away starving! I ordered a starter that was lovely but the main that was nice would not have filled my 2 year old daughter!

Lovely atmosphere and customer service. Menu had good choices of antipasti and starters, menu had variety of vegetarian and meat options.

Even though it was a Thursday evening, the restaurant was busy. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. The furnishing was functional rather than plush. It was lively and noisy, but not unpleasantly so. The service was efficient, friendly and quite speedy. The food was very good. It's certainly somewhere I'd go back to.

What a lovely place to have my Birthday. Everyone was so generally friendly, from entering and to leaving. The atmosphere is brilliant with the Italian background music and the decor. The share starter for 2 outstanding ! So was the baked hooped pasta dish so filling, plus my family had the meatballs and spaghetti and ham pizza. Never felt rushed , and when they found out it's my birthday they brought an icecream with candle and sang to me!! Such lovely owners and amazing food.

Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. All the staff were friendly without being intrusive or obsequeious, nice relaxed atmosphere, but the real highlight is the beautiful food. I've loved the idea of arancini for such a long time, but have always been disappointed in the execution until now... just perfection. All of us had a wonderful meal; annoyed at myself for not coming here sooner!

I visited for my 26th birthday, It was absolutely delicious as usual, the cocktails were amazing (especially after 9 months of pregnancy). They were accommodating with us bringing the pram in and made a fuss of me as it was my birthday. Sang to me with some dessert and a lovely glass of prosecco. One of my new favourite restaurants to go to as when I visited last year for my friend's birthday they were excellent again. Will be back xx

Booked a table for 12 people at very short notice. The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. Will definitely be recommening in future

Our hospital choir came here for our Christmas get together, as a choir we're always to busy in December to organise a night out. We had a fabulous evening, everything went well. The food was delicious and even though we were a party of 20 all of the food was still hot. Staff were friendly and we all had a really lovely evening.
