Sima’s Persian Grill in Barnet

I’ve been a loyal customer of Sima Grill since 2021, and it has consistently been one of my favorite places to dine. The food here is nothing short of amazing – always fresh, full of flavor, and prepared with such attention to detail. Every dish I’ve tried has been fantastic, and you can tell how much care goes into crafting their menu. What truly sets Sima Grill apart, though, is the incredible team. The staff are always so kind, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit a wonderful experience. They genuinely care about their customers and go out of their way to make you feel at home. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, who is such a friendly and gracious person. Their dedication to both the food and the atmosphere really shines through, and it’s clear they pour their heart into this place. After all these years, Sima Grill continues to exceed my expectations. If you’re looking for delicious food and top-notch hospitality, this is the place to go. Highly recommended

We had the lamb shank and the chicken with saffron rice. Both dishes were delicious and very generous portions. Service was great, very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Waitresses are not polite that has to be. A guy works as a waitress there,called ciros,he was so rude to me,asked me to give him a plate without any pleased so. Very disappointed. I think they have to learn more about how to treat people.

I was really impressed with this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every bite. The staff were polite and professional, making us feel very welcome. Even though it’s a bit far from where we live, it has become my family’s top choice. The toilets were very clean, and everything met high-quality standards. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I just had an amazing meal at this Iranian restaurant “ Simas’s Grill” The chenje was incredibly juicy—something that’s quite rare to find in Iranian restaurants. The koobideh and gheymeh bademjoon were also absolutely delicious. Each dish came with a piece of tahchin, which was so flavorful and added a nice touch to the meal. We also ordered doogh and mint tea, and finished off with ‘Faloodeh-Bastani’—everything was delicious from start to finish. The service was excellent, the gentleman who served us was very polite, friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. I highly recommend this place! The portions are massive and at just £30 per person, it’s very reasonably priced for such high-quality food.

Shahin and Lili provided us with exceptional service throughout our visit, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was simply outstanding, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. While it was a little cold inside, the warmth of Shahin and Lili's smiles and their genuine hospitality more than made up for it. This is the best Persian food you can find in north London. Not only the food taste authentical also the quality of the food is like home made. Sima is always helpful and try to accommodate your needs and she does not do a cheap job. The Resturant is decorated very pleasantly and you will enjoy your time there. Thank you Sima

I have never been here before but they were super welcoming, even eating by myself and i had an enjoyable time. I loved the Persian tea, first time trying. They gave me a complimentary dessert extremely lovely of them. Good big portions on the food.

Definitely the best Persian restaurant in London. Authentic, fresh, and served with a smile. Extremely succulent, delicious Koobideh kebabs and the best Ash-e-reshte soup in town. Also loved the Salad Olivieh and Kashk e Bademjan. This is the place to go for true Iranian hospitality.

That was the really good experience that I went to this restaurant. I really recommend this lovely place to spend your weekend and also your free times, I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. However the portions are quite large and enough for two people. For the end I would like to thanks lili for the good service and being friendly.

We had a birthday party of 15 people, we were given a fantastic and friendly service by Sirius and Mohadese despite being so busy that night. The food was great and the atmosphere was very enjoyable.

I had a wonderful experience dining at Sima’s Grill. The food was absolutely delicious.The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service, making the evening even more enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is for the restaurant to add a baby-changing facility in the restroom. This addition would make the restaurant even more accommodating for families with young children.

The food is great, no doubt. However the only reason for the low score is that the STAFF have no customer service experience and are just RUDE. This is unfortunate because the food is better than most Iranian restaurants nearby.

This is easily the best Persian restaurant in London. We enjoyed Kashke Bademjan, Mirza Ghasemi, Mast Mousir, Chenjeh, and Koobideh for mains and Baghlava for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back! Edit: We went back, and the food was amazing! You can tell the chefs here really love what they do and have a genuine passion for creating incredible dishes.

I had a clean and delicious lunch with yogurt and saffron tahdig with boneless chicken and it was great. The lady served very politely and kindly and gave hot tea with roses in it. This way they will become one of the best in London. The interior design of the restaurant is modern, warm and beautiful. Well done to the restaurant owner.

Scrumptious Persian food and excellent service. We were a group of 8 people in the restaurant and we had a great time in Sima’s grill. Staff were super attentive, sharp and polite. Food was delicious and in a good portion size. The only downside which I think is not a big issue and will be definitely resolved is lack of space in the restaurant.

First time visitor : we went for a very persian dinner : mint/walnut/cheese salad, pickles, saffron rice, dough drink etc. Tea after - the food was divine. Very aromatic, excellent cooking, and big portions. Will definitely return! Second visit already happened. Similar meal and finished with Persian tea. Really like place!

Amazing Persian food, great wine, great tea and exceptional service. I loved the cozy ambiance, especially the bioethanol fire. Unlike some places, they treated me well as a solo diner during a busy time, giving me a lovely window seat. Feeling grateful and can’t wait to return!

We recently hosted a big family gathering at this restaurant and it was fantastic- being Iranians ourselves, this is one of the best Persian restaurants we’ve been to! The food was delicious, full of authentic Persian flavours, and left us and our guests very impressed. The service was just as amazing, with friendly staff and excellent management (the manager Soori and all the waiters and waitresses were amazing!) that made sure everything went smoothly. The cozy, homely atmosphere added to the experience. Overall, a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this restaurant!
