Sing Wah in Gateshead

Food is always fabulous. The owners are so pleasant and always accommodating. Have eaten here many times. Our favourite is the duck pancakes and salt and pepper prawns. Excellent food. Excellent service. The best place in Gateshead.

Travelled from sunniside tonight as I was fed up with mediocre Chinese takeaways in my area…. Sing Wah did not disappoint and I’d go as far to say this is the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had!! Fantastic

Great food, the Singwah box for around £10 is perfect for 1 when you don't want to waste loads of food, two single portions of mains and a choice of sides. Really friendly service and prompt.

I give 4 ☆ for atmos because a takeaway is after all a takeaway, the food is the best in Gateshead by miles, they have slightly changes the sing wah deal, and they now serve this in a 3 compartment and the price is 9.50 approx but I get this when I order and believe me its well worth the money, The Sing Wah has more on offer for the decerning palette, I would recommend Sing Wah more than any other place, I have tried others and this is second to non.

Meal was lovely fried rice a bit bland a disappointment they do not deliver to Blaydon it's only 3 mile away so unless I can get someone to take me I won't be able to go as buses are once per hour so it would be cold by time I got it home.I ve been here twice now and both times meal was lovely,plenty on the menu to chose from ,everything cooked to order and fresh,not really a lover of chips however the chilli chips are so tasty.The staff are really helpful and friendly just a shame they won’t deliver to Blaydon it’s drivers discretion and he was sitting when I asked why they don’t deliver to Blaydon and he said because it’s too far away ,swalwell is a mile down the road and they deliver there ,I would happily pay £3.50/4.00 for delivery for a decent meal and they would probably get a lot of ordered Blaydon and Winlaton areas as we don’t have a decent Chinese there’s only 2 and both are not good so easily make an extra couple of hundred pounds per week if they did.

Been going here for over a year now and every single order has been spot-on, food is beautifully cooked ,have tried another local one and just no comparison in my opinion

Food came hot and average delivery time, delivery driver was polite too. Shame about the food though there is little to no taste... even if i was staving, i cudnt eat it. THERE JUST NO TASTE.. seriously bland

Decided to get my tea from here tonight after work, first time trying them and was really pleased will be back again. I ordered the house special Szechuan with boiled rice and spring rolls, waited a few minutes, then drove home. Food was absolutely delicious and still hot after a 20 minute drive home. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10

Food is great I've ordered for delivery a few times. But I ordered for a delivery left it 1hour 15 minutes. Little long I thought so rang. Only to find out they didn't even make me food. I was famished. Took the huff and told them it didn't matter was gonna use a different takeaway. But the food is nice. Sorry had to right this or my head would have exploded stewing over it.

The best Chinese around and I think I have tried everyone in the area. I have been going here for 6 year since moving to the area and it is alway tasty, fresh and hot.

Best chinese in the north east . Food always delicious and ingredients are of excellent quality. Very good prices and friendly staff .Best beef chow mein and beef curry ever had.
