Skylight Rooftop in Tower Hamlets

I went here for my birthday and honestly had a terrible time - the food was over an hour and a half late and when it arrived it was inedible (when we complained the kitchen was shut), the ice skating was full despite us having tickets which meant we had very minimal time on the ice and also had to ice skate separately, the staff had no clue what was going on and we constantly had to go back and forth between staff members to sort vouchers/drinks/food out with them. Finally I was promised a refund by staff and then was ignored via email and so still have no received my money back!! Do not recommend!

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived but couldn’t have been happier when we arrived at the top of the old carpark. Our igloo was fantastic and what a view. Lovely staff and great skating. Had burgers and chips and plenty of drinks all brought quickly (one burger we’d asked for no sauce and it was pretty quickly swapped for a new one). We had the family skating and one free drink deal which I hope is done again next Christmas as it’s a great deal. Thanks so much

A great afternoon of fun on the ice skating rink, good food and great service from Alberta. Simple get away with kids for a few hours and try to get one of the igloos and keep warm in the cold weather Thanks

Diabolical. Single worsr dinner experience of my life. Servers smoking and drinking all night in an igloo. 45 mins to get food ordered. Servers somehow unable to keep track of food order. Wrong order came out first time 60 mins after ordering. Was also cold. Sent back. Came back cold again. Some had no food after 2 hr wait. Was in an igloo. Door wouldn't shut. Servers kept leaving it open on a cold night. When we went to challenge the bill it was clear the servers were having there own party with plenty smoking despite no smoking premises. Whole experience was farcical.

My review was going to be a complaint - we had ordered a table with a parasol - got a table “upgraded” to a table in the beating 30 degree heat. Then Luiz came in - I was so angry that half my party for my birthday were burning in the dimmer heat. Luiz made sure we were comfortable, well looked after and even was willing to share in our frustration. Despite disappointment regarding our table the staff made it worthy of a great birthday. Luiz deserves a raise and a promotion. I don’t take a 4 star review lightly. 4 stars.

I hosted a corporate event here yesterday and I HIGHLY recommend!! We had a party of 50 and everyone had the best day/night. The food, service and venue was spot on - gorgeous views too! Leading up to the event the communication was great, no complaints whatsoever. Thank you!

Aww I'm disappointed, the venue is lovely and I had high hopes for the food but unfortunately the brass cutlery came with dried on food, the service staff seemed very uncomfortable, awkward almost which then made me feel slightly off. The chicken strips were extremely dry, barely seen the white of the chicken inside. The aubergine meal was lovely! No fault there, my friends enjoyed their burger and chips, slightly spicy. Service charge is added automatically to the bill, so make sure you enquire prior to paying if you do not feel as though it was worthy. I would go again but just for drinks in the outside area.

Roof top bar with views, great in the sunshine, problem was the bar service wasn’t great. Door staff on the ground floor was rude and not very welcoming. Some of our group ordered drinks via member of staff who came to the booth and took order on tablet, which took up to 45 minutes to arrive. Kept chasing and being told it was coming. Some ordered drinks at the top roof bar and got the order straight away. Some tried to order at the bar but were told to order via the app or the member of staff with the tablet. Some drinks didn’t arrive so had to chase. Some drinks arrived which was a different tables order. Hint: the bar downstairs behind the reception was much better, always empty and much quicker service! Indoor croquet was lots of fun. Environment was good, nice setting. No lift so be prepared to walk a few flights of stairs. If the bar service and door welcome had been better this would have got a 4 or 5 out of 5 rating.

Went out for drinks on late Saturday afternoon. The vibe was really good, very popular and fun place to hang out with friends, many activities to participate in. The only inconvenience are toilets as get crowded and are lacking in cubicles.

Friendly staff but my God horrendous food and mediocre drinks at best ! Wouldn’t recommend buying their brunch package it is a loss of money. Their Bellinis are a joke. I think the only semi-good thing we tried was the ‘Breakfast Martini’
