Smashville Burger Co (Oldham) in Oldham

This place used to be fantastic when it first opened. Sadly it has gone down hill since, my burger today and my beef taco were both burnt. My husbands chicken burger was much better but still not what it used to be. It somehow tastes less fresh than it used to as well.

The worst burger i’ve ever had in my life!! Reading the reviews was expecting the patties to be juicy and not rock hard, it was that hard that i couldn’t even chew it. Very disappointed!

Water 45 minutes for food took 10 for them to acknowledge us to take order. Food was then incorrect as it had cheese on which I am already to after asking for no cheese chicken was bland and cold, lettuce was at least 2 days old and tasked sour, chips were then stone cold. Least to say it was dreadful and a waste of money. Service was appalling as they couldn’t take a basic food order or get it right or Evernote warm

First time trying smashville and it was amazing! You must try the earthy burger, absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Deffo ordering again!

We’ve ordered from smashville a few times now and every single time we have not been disappointed. The special munch box is such good value for money and the burgers and absolutely delicious 🤤. The staff are also really lovely and helpfull and happy to accommodate changes ( like removing certain toppings from some of the burgers) Can’t wait to order again

Strange location in a petrol station but really don't let that put you off. Always our go to for Takeaway, food is a delight. Love the dirty burger and the fries are impressive as well. Never a bad meal.

**EDIT - my previous review still applies, but I do appreciate that Adrian contacted and provided a full refund for our meal and experience. We have also been offered a free meal but it's unlikely we will be able to fulfil this due to not travelling any time soon. _______________________________________________________________ Unfortunately we were really disappointed. We’d seen the good reviews and hype and diverted on a long drive to come by here to try it. We waited 50 minutes for our food to be ready for collection (expected it to be 25 as per the email we received) several just eat drivers got served before us despite being told when we arrived (at the due collection time) our order was being packed and would be 3-4 minutes We waited a further 25-minutes and got our food and our canned drinks had been forgotten which isn’t a big deal as they remembered within seconds but then we went to eat our food in our parked car (about 10 metres away) and the food was cold when we started eating. Burgers were okay. Chicken taco was nice but had sauce despite asking not to have it. Chips were a good flavour but were cold. Milkshakes were quite nice. Not worth the £33 we paid especially with the huge wait which made us late to our next planned thing. 3/10

Smashville is our go to for the best burgers and chicken tenders. We drive past about 6 different burger places on our 20 minute drive to pick it up but it's so worth it every time! Decent prices and perfect food!

Would love to give more stars but sadly I can't. Positives: Food is AMAZING!! One of the best places for food. Staff are friendly (Behind the smashville counter) Negatives: You have to go to the checkout for petrol to get cups for the slush. The woman behind the till is rude and obnoxious, the cups break when you try to put the lid on, when you ask for a replacement she blames you for breaking the cup (Apparently it is a common occurence so maybe it's the cups). They have messed up numerous orders. Every visit has been stressful but I enjoy the food so that's that.

Shocking service. So many times order is not complete. Food items missing. Drinks not delivered. Has happened on numerous times and unable to contact anyone. Unable to get a refund. We are no longer ordering from here

Great smashed burgers. Ordered more than once and each time the quality and taste is spot on. My advice is to order before arriving as the food is good and can be queued at peak times.

I've ordered from here twice. I wouldn't say the burgers are the best but better than McDonald's. The chips are not great. It's ok for the price but there are better burger restaurants in Oldham such as Burgerize

When order was placed was told a 30 minute wait which was fine until over 45 minutes pass and still no order we then asked and they told another low of when order was being cooked they was to busy getting all of the online and telephone orders out then to proceed the lies they didn’t even do our order correct and food was cold if I could give this 0 star rating I would

Really disappointed, especially considering the high price! I ordered on Uber eats, the meat was just sloppy and tasted uncooked the burger was just not right this time. I won't be ordering again

The best chicken tenders you will ever have … the new Nashville chicken toasties is an absolute treat. The portion is big, chicken tenders are crispy and juicy … variety of sauces are available but I choose the garlic, cheesy pot and Smashville sauce. The best part is they are not salty at all. Customer service is amazing 👌

I came to Smashville to try it out with my brother. The loaded fries were delicious! Also the member of staff Tania who served us was super friendly and made us feel very welcome! :)

The burgers are under seasoned and the tacos were bland, but the garlic mayo was tasty, and the special sauce was not too bad as well.

Food was spot on, everything was well made and tasted great. I'm not a great lover of fast food burgers but I really enjoyed this burger and would definitely go back. Also need to shout out the staff as they were fantastic, kept me updated on the order whilst I was waiting and made sure everything was ready at the same time. Really can't find fault with anything and it's well worth driving past all the big fat food chains to go here.

Drove from Leeds to try this and i was so excited to try it. Reasonably priced if i was given what i paid for. I got a double cheeseburger but was given a single with no salad or sauce? My partner got the dirty burger and was satisfied with her meal although she said food is average. Such a shame but going to stick with my local takeaway- i’d have gone and asked for a partial refund if we hadn’t set off home.

A great business providing excellent quality food in the local area. Love the smash burgers and the chicken tenders are a tasty treat. They do great box deals and the waffles must be tried. The team are friendly and always ensure your food is hot, fresh and ready to enjoy!

It wasn't worth the tiktok hype the burgers are ok then fries were poor and overpriced the milkshake was mid range and again over priced. No seating so it's back to the car and find a spot somewhere nearby unless you want to eat in a petrol station car park. It's no better than a smash burger you can find locally so don't go out of your way to try it but if your passing you could stop in.

This restaurant/fast food establishment is unique, food is amazing, great portion sizes, great taste, great value, highly recommended, if you look to extend and have more franchises please have on within East Midlands

Consistently great smash burgers, and chicken. The cheese whizz fries are a must. Wonderful soft drinks to choose from as well.

Ordered a munch box, sent a dry waffle and as soon as the food arrived my full front room absolutely stunk of B.O. Ordered loads of times before and never had an issue but been completely put off my food and will never be ordering again. (Edited: one hour after eating I woke up vomiting everything I had eaten)

If you’re thinking about a treat for the family, I would highly recommend Smashville Burger. The service is great and the staff always very friendly and attentive. I’ve tried most of what they have to offer- I think my favourite has to be the double x chicken burger with cheese wiz fries- it’s gorgeous- really delish 😋 Although I am very partial to a smashed patty Oklahoma meal - definitely recommend 10/10 beats McDonald at elk mill hands down every time. Although waiting times are very short, a little seating area would be good for customers to sit.

Smashville is one of those places you happen across in life, and when you do, you wonder how you ever managed without it. In an era where the Burger reigns supreme, it is difficult sometimes to make a name for yourself. You have to offer something, either unique, or of such quality that your status cannot be question. Smashville achieves both. Whether your preference is a beef smashed patty or a crispy chicken burger, you will not be disappointed. The beef burgers have a serious crust on them, which when broken through reveals juicy, perfectly seasoned beef. I would highly recommend the Oklahoma burger for anyone serious about their patties, as they smash it down with onions, making it's sweet, salty and seriously mouth watering, all wrapped in a potato roll like a massive cuddle. If you want great value then you can't go far wrong with the family boxes, where you'll get burgers, chicken tenders, and tacos amongst other goodies. Most of all though, the guys understand customer service. They will always greet you with a smile and do not keep you waiting long. Lessons could be learned by so many other takeaways, because Smashville have the formula nailed!

First time ordering from here and it was lovely! The staff were kind, even apologised for the wait, which we didn’t mind because they looked busy anyway! Great food and fab milkshakes, will deffo be ordering again!

Food was good. Service was good, but the deliver drivers who were there to pick up orders were abusive to the staff behind the counter and it made my family very upset. The counter staff were only young lads, working hard but the delivery drivers were yelling at them and demanding things. Ownership should really talk to the drivers.

Quick & polite service, First off the burger was really good I had the double earthy very tasty, fries were decent, chicken tenders were ok I had a couple of chewy pieces. What was really disappointing was the dipping gravy, tasteless water in a really small pot , must be about 5p worth of gravy granules in water. Would buy again but just Burger & Fries .

After seeing this place over the socials! We had to give it a go, we travel in from Cheshire just to try and will definitely be reattending. Food was amazing! And made really quick. All piping hot and just 10/10. Defo recommend

Nice burgers though quite expensive

I don't like doing these kind of reviews but when your disappointed by the quality I think it's a must so that businesses can improve. We generally travel up once a month from Leeds to get what I thought were the best burgers going. But this time I was so disappointed by what I can only call a mess. I ordered 2 burgers and some beef tacos. The burgers were greasy as he'll and so we're the tacos. It was like the cook had emptied a shed load of grease into everything. It was that bad the potato bun had started to disintegrate. Disappointed is far from how me and family feel. The tacos were exactly the same. Was it a bad day it was for us.

I am a regular customer, but one night i ordered me and my family some food from here it was quite a fast delivery, but realising the food wasn't fully cooked I got in contact with the owner of the business, who delt with this situation very professional, the owner offered a full replacement for when i wanted to next order, i was abit worried as the first time the meat was quite pink it put me off, but i thought i should just give it a chance and i was given a full replacement with no charge, The food was lovely and hot and fully cooked, I would recommend this food as it's delicious, and if you have any problems it will be delt with, thank you so much for dealing with this.
