Social Board in Brighton and Hove

I had the Porchetta and the Reuben. The sweet potato fries were on point. The Porchetta was sensational but the Reuben was not. That’s my only complaint, beef was too chewy, beef brisket that’s slowed cooked is not supposed to be tough. I felt I had to work. A friend thought the same about their Philly (also beef). The ambience of the place is very chill and the staff was super nice.

Best fried chicken I have ever had! We ordered halloumi bites, onion rings, the mother clucker and the chicken cba. The mother clucker was so good with the fried chicken, I had to come back a few days later for some chicken tenders. Very affordable as well for such delicious food. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice which is always a plus!

Stopped on a whim when shopping and got the best surprise we could have hoped for. The Reuben was genuinely the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Great bread, excellent locally sourced meat, fantastic sauces - pretty sure even the pickles were homemade! Only criticism is that they don't deliver to uckfield so we are going to have to travel for our sandwiches. Vibe was good too though, so new fave!

Little bit drafty but the breakfast bap deal excellent value. And I’ve never so far eaten sourdough focaccia for the breakfast bap. Which is excellent taste. Great value for money for the breakfast. Nowadays putting silly prices on things because people just shrug and pay up. Not here they consider the real value of the food. Recommended !

I could only think of two words to describe how my sandwich tasted and that was supercalifragilisticexpialidociously delicious! I have been a few times now and the sandwiches are huge and filled to the brim with scrumptious food. I highly recommend it.

I went to The Social Board needing some dutty food after being out the night before. It was around 1pm and luckily wasn’t too busy. The staff were friendly and helpful with explaining the menu. I ordered the Philly “sexy sandwich” with fries and it came with a honey truffle mayo dip. It didn’t take too long for the food to arrive to my table. The food was unreal! The chips were great and the sandwich was just full of filling and flavour. It is a really nice little spot in town and I’d highly recommend. I will definitely be going back to try different sandwiches.

Can't fault anything. Food ace,if you go to Brighton you have definitely got to come here. I had a ultimate bacon sandwich but not like any other I have had before......so good I went back the next day!! The guys who run and work there are very friendly and will change options for you if you require, really clean too. Well done,we will be calling back next time we are back in Brighton

Called in yesterday for a bite to eat laye morning...had bacon and sausage bap....wow...not your usual bap....was honestly the best I have ever had...the bread itself was something else...** do not miss this place **

I have ordered from this restaurant before via Uber eats in the past and I was very happy with my order! This time I was not happy. The coleslaw was completely different to the one advertised - so bland - to much mayo with a random garden salad on the bottom. Could not identify any of the veggies inside as they are drowning in bland mayo- I swear the sandwiches used to be made on long crusty roles not the small square baps- uber eats is a big treat for me so im disappointed on this occasion.

Probably the best breakfast bap I ever had in my life ! Bacon, egg , red onion marmalade , in focaccia bap , with great cup of coffee . Definitely my new spot !.

Everyone knows these are the best sandwiches in Brighton, but I've recently discovered they're contending for the best breakfast in Brighton. Beautifully presented and delicious, highly recommend. They're also very dog friendly, so you can bring your four legged chums.

We called into social board on a visit to Brighton and WOW was we pleased we did! Food was amazing, between the two of us we had 2 smaller sandwiches and shared a portion of Katsu fries. My Philly sandwich was amazing the other half had the halloumi sandwich that was superb and those Katsu fries are to dye for!! Great location, cool venue , friendly and knowledgeable staff around their menu and the food was amazing! we don’t live closer or social board would definitely be one of my go to places 👍🏼.

We visited as a family and tried a couple of the sandwiches, Philly cheesesteak was incredible, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, my wife had the cluck-me sandwich which was also amazing. If I lived nearer I would come here a lot, if you’re in Brighton it’s an absolute must visit!

Even the small sandwiches are sizeable. The vegan B-Right-On is great and clearly banh mi inspired.

I came in for a sexy sandwich (as they advertise) and I was not disappointed. I asked for the vegan Hello-me, but was told that they didn’t have any of the vegan halloumi. I was having tempeh for dinner, so didn’t fancy having their other vegan sandwich which has tempeh as the filling. The chef overheard and was kind enough to offer me the Hello-me with vegan sausage instead of the halloumi. I took him up on the offer, and it was a delicious sandwich and a very generous portion size (but not too big either). I’ve marked them down one star because the drinks seemed to be overpriced. It was £2.70 for a can of Fanta or £2 for a mini can of Sprite. I’ll definitely be going back to try the tempeh sandwich (on a day I’m not having tempeh for dinner).

Good sandwiches but the online ordering process doesn’t work, it says 5 minutes to prepare and then you arrive and it’s barely been started, happened several times and is a huge waste of time

Food was very good - we really enjoyed our sandwiches. Service a bit unsociable but fine. It really needs redecorating, feels very tired and dark, we almost u-turned upon arriving but glad we stayed.

The salt beef is not as good as brick lane beigals. The truffle honey mayo fries were good, and not too sweet if you actually like the taste of truffle.

¡Primera y última vez aquí! Como local, vine a almorzar. El restaurante fue absolutamente invadido por los repartidores, en detrimento de los comensales sentados esperando su comida. Me quejé de esto, pero cayó en oídos sordos... el personal tenía muy mal inglés y no se molestó cuando señalé cuánto tiempo esperaban los comensales. Cuando mi almuerzo finalmente llegó (PORCHETTA) 2 pequeños trozos de 1 mm de vientre de cerdo mal cocido en un gran bap que se ahoga en Salsa Verdi. No como se describe en su menú. Este lugar es sorprendentemente caro y el personal no estaba realmente interesado en los comensales sentados en el restaurante y solo atendiendo a los repartidores.

Friendly staff and great, if you are after something unique to eat. The English breakfast is not traditional and loaded with spice which wasn’t what we were expecting. One thing that is guaranteed is great coffee. Seating arrangements are a little uncomfortable wooden panels on the wall are a little uncomfortable to have at the side of you. There is a step at the back of the restaurant and there is seating too close to that drop which could be a little dangerous. We had to move free times to get comfy. It’s always good to try things out for yourself and what didn’t work for us may work for someone else.

Mammoth great tasting sandwiches in a great cafe. You will not leave hungry.

I came in around 12 got a reuben sandwitch small and a mocha, I had sonya and peter serve me. I thought it was going to be to small but it was a lot of food good price. The food also came out fast no complaints!

Delicious gourmet sandwiches. Can’t think of another place in Brighton that comes close. The Philly (minus the gherkins) was straight up one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in the UK. What can l say other than AMAZING!!! We had the perfect cheesy chips and halloumi bites. Everything was so fresh, hot, reasonably priced and the service was brilliant. We would thoroughly recommend this place as we enjoyed it so much.

We stumbled across the social board while looking for something “to-go” after arriving in Brighton on Friday evening. Staff really helpful and friendly and the place had a nice feel to it. I had a sexy sandwich with a side of very delicious fries while my husband enjoyed a dirty burger and fries. The food was delicious and warm. We will return!

My friend and I enjoyed breakfast here one sunny morning on a recent trip. The menu has lots of fresh produce, vegan and veggie options as well as hot and cold drinks made to order. I enjoyed a lovely bacon sandwich (with an unusual, but lovely, mayo and marmalade mix) and a latte - would highly recommend and would visit again if in the area
