Fantastic, friendly restaurant. Delish menu and easily accessible for wheelchair or walker uses. The restaurant is at capacity most lunch times, so booking is a good idea.

The service is good, but the food is tasteless and expensive in my opinion, even though it is kosher, which I take into consideration.

I think it was brilliant! Dined there a few times.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight! The food was tasty, well presented and Georgina, our waitress was friendly, proactive and prompt to respond. Salad was quite plain, could be better with a side green salad or coleslaw and or vinaigrette. Pleasant atmosphere and seating area. Definitely coming again!

Three of four of us had okay meals. The fourth didn’t! Salads were tasty. The shashuka not! The accompanying granary‘toast’ was not granary or toasted. Service was okay. Nothing special.

We received the wrong food after ordering. Service was not attentive and need further training to better meet the needs of customers. Staff didn’t once ask us if everything was okay or is there something else we need. The restaurant was cold and not an environment where you could fully relax. Food was average not bad not great. Price is expensive for what it is. All in all I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again to eat.

I come here often because the food is so healthy and delicious. I'm coeliac and they really care for me with gluten free food. Sayed is always smiling and goes the extra mile to make us comfortable and happy. I recommend the curry!

Wish I could go here more often. Great mix of Jewish and contemporary dishes. Good prices and decent portions. Great place for lunch, or for a quick smoothie to go.

The food and service was great, had the Soyo breakfast which comes with eggs, salad, spreads, a juice and a hot drink. Our waitress was very nice. The reason for the missing stars though is the fact that the waitress was alone with nearly all the tables filled (it must have been around 30 people) which I feel is very unfair to her and this seems like the norm.

Absolutely appalling the quantity we received. Quality was also far inferior to the restaurant. Very dissappointed Spent £400+. Much better catering alternatives.

Food usually is lovely, but I hate tomatoes, so I ordered with no tomatoes. They give me my order and low and behold, there are tomatoes! I tell them I ordered no tomatoes, and they then proceed to show me their messy order book and then blame me saying I didn’t say I wanted tomatoes! Why would I order something with tomatoes if I hate tomatoes? So for that reason it is low. I know that it was just that time but that is no excuse!

Relaxed contemporary setting with a selection firmly embedded in the comfortingly familiar, only tiptoeing tentatively beyond the formulaic. Saying that, admittedly they do do what they do, reasonably well. Portions be prodigious though my meal wasn’t overly flavoursome nor memorable. Service was beyond reproach. .

Disgusting food. Cold soggy spring rolls. Lukewarm gluey noodles. Service with no smile. Expensive. No atmosphere.

When I arrived there were at least two tables for two people but I was told they had been reserved for 30 minutes time so I should have the one for four people, which had been put aside for me, even though there were two of us. We had our main meal and I then ordered a smoothie. I was halfway through when a waiter came over and said "You need to leave now. We need the table." It was just after 8pm. When I had booked the table I had not been told we could only have it for one hour. We were then told there were four people waiting outside and we had to leave because there were two of us on a table for four. They said we could finish outside. Well, we were not going to go outside in the cold. Furthermore, this was the table that had been reserved for me, despite knowing there were only two of us. We finished up as fast as we could, me rushing my drink, while they took our things away and chucked the bill at us. We refused to pay the service charge as we had had terrible service. I'm now wishing I had refused to pay for my drink that I had to rush. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Food was delicious and plentiful. Ample choice on the menu including Build your own Salad. Very friendly and helpful server. Good value for money. Acoustics not great.

So good I visited this place twice during my 2 week visit to London (and the GG Soyo twice as well) the smoked salmon is beyond delicious and the portion sizes are pretty big. The toffee cappuccino is just a little luxurious must.

Enjoyed a superb kosher breakfast at Soyo. Everything was fresh and tasted home-made. Coffee excellent and hot! Quick and polite service. Would highly recommend.

Food here was good, but I wouldn't say it was excellent. I ordered a hot chocolate on a cold day, but unfortunately it wasn't served very hot at all (it was warm). Staff were friendly. The inside of the restaurant is quite bare and empty. It didn't have a very welcoming atmosphere.

I went there with my friend for lunch. But I must say that I wasn't impressed. I ordered fish and chips and it was a total disappointment. The portion was very small for the price I paid for. The fish had no taste, no salt, no pepper, no seasoned. I wouldn't go back, for sure..

Ordered a vegetable curry and was not fresh. Called the restaurant and they advised its cooked fresh, which is definitely not the case. I've ordered this before and can tell the difference between the two. They also had the cheek to tell me as I ordered with Deliveroo that I would need to contact them to deal with this matter. My comment was you cooked and deliveroo only do delivery so responsibility was on them. They refused to deal with further. Last time I order from there.

We'd been to Soyo before and it had been very good, so we had high hopes for our dinner with friends. Despite the restaurant being perhaps only a third full, service was pretty dire. We'd ordered a variety of fish dishes and then the server came back to tell us they'd run out of fish. All fish. Well, at least they buy it in fresh, I guess, but she should have known they were out before taking the order. So pasta and salads it was. Only one of us ordered a starter and it was only after we'd all eaten our main course that we realised he hadn't been served his starter. Which, when he asked, arrived alongside our dessert coffees. The food? - OK, though not as good as I remember it, but maybe that's because the rest of the meal was so shambolic. I hope it was just an off night when we went and Soyo rediscovers its former glory.

So relaxing dining on delicious healthy food on the menu

The food here is excellent but the service is not all it could be. The one waitress, no matter how good, cannot cope in busy times. Also be prepared to wait for your food on these occasions. Not somewhere to drop in for a quick lunch.

Superb quality friendly service generous portions great family time out and value for money

Great place. Recommend the black coffee and the ShakShuka was delicious and comes with a side salad, tahini, spicy homemade sauce and two pieces of delicious bread.

Sheva Brochos at Soyo: wonderful food, lovely ambience and great service. Staff really got into the spirit with us, joining in on the African djembe drums! No complaints . Give it a try!

Excellent dishes, carefully prepared and friendly efficient staff

Two for Friday lunch. We sat outside, as the weather was pleasant. The lady who served us was polite and helpful. The food was well cooked and tasty. The lost star is because (a) every time we needed anything, one of us had to get up and go inside because nobody was watching the tables outside and (b) when we asked for water, ketchup, the bill etc, it never arrived - so again we had to get up and go into the restaurant.. This might be because of poor management, but I think it is more likely that they simply didn't have enough staff on duty...

I’m sorry to say the food was not good and the service was atrocious. Asked for 2 salads which they got totally wrong and way to many people in the restaurant with staff not wearing any face protection or gloves. Definitely won’t be going there again

Only had a cup of tea and a crepe and they sent me the wrong flavour. I was impressed by the COVID measures put in place though and the distance between the tables. The staff were also helpful in helping us move tables when ours was wobbly.

I've eaten here several times before and would usually give it 4 stars. Today however, it took about 20mins for the food to arrive and when it did some of the food was cold. It was also very, very salty and my wife said the same of her food. Disappointing.

- Staff friendly, food presentation was good - Ordered orange carrot and ginger juice but had no ginger taste had to send it back, dissappointing - Eggs 'Benedict' was just smoked salmon and eggs on challah bread - not even a toasted muffin or any sauce - Poor menu labelling - no indication of gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options. When we asked what was gluten free answer was vague. Asked to swap bread that came with shakshuka for gluten free option. Could not swap this for avocado, only a vegetable like tomato which was unsubstantial. When food arrived bread was given anyway as if gluten free conversation hadnt taken place, even though cannot be near gluten due to Coeliac disease, very dissappointed. - If paying full price would have sent food back Probably wouldnt return

Saturday night and I persuaded my husband to go on a date night to SoYo. After sharing the delicious soup starter, we ordered the salmon pasta and vegetarian lasagne mains. All the food was very tasty and the portion sizes generous. Unfortunately they were not serving alcohol due to license issues. But despite that, we enjoyed the food immensely and will visit again.

I never quite knew this was on the high street but the food and choices available are amazing! Wouldn't agree that it's all healthy as they advertise ferrero rocher milkshakes... But I do like the concept and definitely will be back again to try out more things on their menu!

The menu is large, the staff are nice but the food is very very average. Been there twice recently, salad first time and a pasta this time. The tomato sauce of the pasta tasted like it had come straight from a bottle and not a good one either, the roasted veg inside weren't bad. The salad was also nothing special. We asked the waitress if they get the tips and she said no, is this not illegal? 12.5% extra on top of the bill for the owners - disgraceful. Not going back there in a hurry.

Had a savoury crepe. Really delicious. It was the crepe with spinach cheese and an egg on the top amongst other things! Last Monday I had the Philadelphia Crepe which was also amazing!

Food is great especially tuna steak. Love the frozen yogurt. Staff were good but sometimes slow to see that tables need help. Kids portions are yummy but huge so depending on age, they will probably need help to finish

Tried to go for lunch yesterday with a group of five friends. I accept the kitchen closes early on Friday but I don’t expect to be spoken to in such a rude manner by the waitress whilst managers stood nearby. You do not speak to your customers in that way. Suffice to say as a local I will not be returning and will not be telling friend to go. Bad luck as this was all of our first visit having heard Great things.

It’s very good to see the restaurant is very popular as it is serving very tasty fresh food. The salmon linguine was really tasty and the soup was a meal in itself and excellent lentils. The green shakshuka was exceptional and with just the right level of spice. A very good addition to the “Edgware eating scenery” and would heartily recommend

Amazing dish. This was unbelievable. Can't recall ever having something dairy as exceptional as the nut crust salmon dish.

I ordered Eggs Benedict. The bread was very thick and not toasted. The Spinach was not cooked just freash. The 'Hollandaise' sauce was cold, the texture of thick mayonnaise and probably was thick mayonnaise. Not a good advert for the shop!!!

Excellent, local eatery. So happy we have one in Edgware. Never disappointed. Always a healthy delight.
