Space 238 in Bristol, City of

It is a coffee house that ran by very nice owner and staff, everyone is welcome here to purchase any drinks, have some conversations, and take a rest from work pressure. Also, they also have clean place behind the shop that you could rent for classes. 这家咖啡店的老板和服务员都是为人挺友好的，老板从以前到现在已经开了有5年了，是个很注重前景和有经验的企业家。接纳多样的文化是他们的亮点。店后面还有个房间平时是租赁出去给各位瑜伽老师授课的。

I was prompted to write this review in response to an earlier one, August 2020 visit, with the heading Amazing Coffee. Although the review shows 5 stars I think I recognise sarcasm when I see it. The reviewer mentions "gentrification at its best" and "push out all the long time locals". I'm a local (22 years), as is the owner of space 238. He has built solid relationships with local businesses and has a genuine belief in the area. The coffee is great, The food is tasty and well priced. The staff are welcoming and attentive. And many locals love hanging out there. There is absolutely no pressure to spend, and as another reviewer pointed out - the toilets are amazing.

Lovely space for a coffee with a great yoga and pirates studio out back. Coffee is great. Service second to none, so friendly and helpful (even helped wrestle my pram up the stairs). Love a visit here.

I would recommend Space 238 anytime. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Best sandwiches, crossings. I love my Cappuccino with caramel syrup, the best. Space 238 brings a certain uptown look to Stapleton Road which is pleasant to see. The owner is a people person and makes it his duty to socialise with everyone in the vicinity. Great place to Chill out.

Was working in Easton on Monday and popped down the road in search of a coffee. Found this gem of a coffee shop/cafe. Really friendly staff, great coffee and croissants with a nice feel to the place. I was so impressed I went back for lunch later! Great Place

Great coffee at normal coffee prices, friendly staff and nice to see a range of people in there. Really hope it can stay at good prices so that locals in and around Stapleton Rd can carry on enjoying it.

The best toilet experience I have ever had whilst in Bristol. Good flush 👍 good soap 👍 good towel system 👍 great decor, clean and simple,👍 amazing light systems 👍. A variety of toilets: Two downstairs and one accessible toilet upstairs. Enough about the Poos and all 😁 space 238 has lovely vibes, set in a great neighbourhood in Bristol. The staff were so warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend it! ❤️💕😊

I really enjoyed this place. The staff were very accommodating they even made a complicated tea I requested and no even an eye roll. In fact the gentleman there was more than happy to help. I also had a tuna baguette and I can say until this day, it was genuinely the best tuna baguette I have eaten in any coffee/cafe place. I will be going here again without a doubt (as long as alive) I highly recommend this place.

Good coffee, tasty bagels, great fresh juice. Lovely atmosphere. The events look cool, and I’d love to try the yoga.

A couple of tables outside. Since it's a bit drizzly and grey, nobody is sitting. Inside it's stripped pine and a counter the width of the room. Last time I came there were lots of tables inside, but this is 2021 of course Choice of espresso - I had the Rocket. It was fine, must try the other one next time Tuna salad baguette - very good indeed

Stopped in today’s when I was around the area, the staff were sociable and personable the coffee is great and I had a pastrami bagel which was to die for. I nearly ordered the wrong drink and the staff were quick and happy to remedy my error. I will be visiting again, and I recommend others do to.

I love this place, gentrification at it's best. The area really needs a coffee shop and yoga studio to push out all the long time locals that to be honest only drive down the property prices. If only there were more places like this!

I was introduced to Space238 after the management change, and I'm happy to call it my local coffee shop. It's fast becoming well established in the area, as the manager has made a point of getting to know all the surrounding businesses and is incredibly welcoming, with an excellent knowledge of coffee. The space in 238 is very open with a few seating areas, making it perfect for taking 10 minutes for a break, sitting in with friends, or to get a cup to take with you. The food that I've tried so far has been great quality and affordable, and the range of drinks is impressive. I haven't seen the studio space, but going on the coffee shop area I'd like to guess at it being just as open and inviting. I highly recommend trying 238 if you appreciate your coffee - it's great quality, reasonably priced, with a welcoming atmosphere.

The café's design is what made want to try the place. Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere with music that really ties in with the café's character. The specialty coffee that's served is rich in flavour and highly recommended! Pair that coffee with one of the café's unique bagel recipes and you'll definitely go out with a smile.

I called in randomly (and hungry) and accepted the offer of a lunch without checking the price (Sign on the board said £3.50). I was served a very small pot of cous cous, and equally small pot of salad and about 7 small strips of chicken. The chicken did not smell right, so hungry i asked for extra cous cous (too chicken to complain about the chicken...). When i went to pay i was charged £8.70! Aparently one portion of cous cous and the chicken was £5.50 (not £3.50 as stated) the salad was extra, as was the refill of cous cous £1.75!! freezing cold and without dressing) When i tried to complain i was made to feel stupid and patronised. Definately not eating there again and would not recommend.

Really nice venue to enjoy manythings, yoga classes, salsa, life music and food. You can celebrate parties or just share a good time with friends or family. Very kind customer services and you can feeling peace on the air.

Café with yoga centre attached, so if you time it right the place is full of ladies in lycra leggings, always a plus. I thought the name was some sort of play on 24/7 but it's actually at Number 238 Decent espresso Sparkling cranberry Chocolate...
