Excellent food and really friendly staff. This small Indian restaurant has recently made a welcome return to Forest Hill. The food was full of fresh and distinct flavours, well presented and reasonably priced. I strongly recommend a visit if you are in the neighbourhood!

First visit to this new Indian restaurant and certainly not the last. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and great service. I really hope the restaurant does well, it’s hard to find good Indian food and this restaurant has it. I’ won’t think twice about ordering take away too.

This place is a little jewel near the Forest Hill station. 10 of us visited for dinner. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant is contemporary and has a lovely ambience. The menu is thoughtfully curated, with authentic flavours in the varied dishes that are offered. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. We will be back!

Visited this restaurant last summer and had s great meal. Booked it for my partners birthday last night and it was just as good if not better. The service is outstanding , the guys cannot do enough for you. Food delicious , tasty and lots of it. Will be back soon Sparse , thank you

My girlfriend and I thought we would have another go at trying one of Sparsh's delicious meals, as they used to be. However, the food used to be outstanding but there had been some occasions when the meals became not edible because there was no flavour; it was tasteless, bland with too much spices. Food is meant to be enjoyed. It used to be one of our favourite restaurants and takeaways but lately we were still not impressed with it's presentation. We love Indian food very much, but It needs to change or else risk losing customers?

Really good Indian with distinctive flavours and interesting dishes. Not the standard curry house at all. Stand out dishes were the Samosa chat, Biryani Arancini and chilli chicken starters. Polite and attentive service, full marks!

An excellent contemporary Indian restaurant in Forest Hill. The food is refined, classy but also good value considering the quality. Love the decor too inside. They also have a brilliant wine list (apparently the owner used to be a sommelier). Highly recommended!

This is a small and friendly restaurant that is clearly popular for both dine in and take away/delivery options. The menu is short and interesting, definitely not your standard ‘tandoori’ and baalti options. We really enjoyed the starters, particularly the mango maple chicken and the prawns. The mains, particularly the slow cooked daal were all aromatic and enjoyable. The only down side was the slightly haphazard timing. Our mains appeared almost as soon as the starters had been cleared. Other tables seemed to be waiting for food to appear. Possibly teething problems but well worth a return visit.
