Cracking place and a hidden gem in Stirling! Visiting the area for a few days and came for both lunch and dinner. Perfect steaks and fantastic service both times. Rhona has this place spot on

Poped in today for the first time for food. As soon as walked in door was made to feel welcomed. They had a massive soft play for the kids. Food was amazing even my partner who is a very fussy eater enjoyed his meal. I had the stake and it was cooked to profection eggs runny as requested honestly could not fault this place. And to top it all off the two staff members who dealt with us where absolutely amazing nothing was to much trouble thank you so so much for an amazing afternoon out will be sure to visit again. Sorry I can't remember your names

Oh dear. Right from the get go we could see staff were under pressure. They were few in number and moving fast. Drinks were ordered and came fast. Then we waited to order food. And waited. But as I said, the few were working as fast as they could. When our meals came they were sparse and didn’t look or taste appetising. The “bbq” chicken appeared and tasted like boiled chicken topped with some bbq sauce smeared on it. The beans had jalapeño peppers poked into it almost like a garnish but there were heaps. The mini mac cheese was definitely packet Mac. And to top it off, they’d forgotten to include the corn cob and the coleslaw. By this stage we’d eaten what we could and decided to leave. We pointed out the missing items and our waitress sighed and we could see her frustration. Not her fault. Such a lovely venue, so much potential. It appears the flu had impacted staffing levels. Doesn’t excuse the chef and kitchen staff tho.

Nice dog friendly pub. Food of a good standard. It does have a children’s play area so did find it noisy and kids just left their shoes anywhere. But this is not the pubs fault. We asked for a quieter table away from the children and this was fine.

Food we got was good but the terrible score is down to the staff experience we had on the evening we went. Just plain awful!

Everything was cold, the girls on duty ,rude and dismissive, the general manager refused to come out of the kitchen to deal with our complaints, left without eating, who wants cold peppercorn sauce, potatoes???? Horrible place

Xmas day dinner x 4 ..chef needs to learn how to cook king prawns..couldnt even cut them...were very rubbery ..asked for prawn marie rose sauce..mgr never came bak to tell us anything..(easiest sauce to make in seconds) watched bar staff talk about us(ive been in hospitality long enough to notice the signs) ..if it wasnt for assistant mgr ali we would have walked out..and it being xmas day we wanted it to be a great day..we stayed for cpl hours after meal at bar ...in all we would have spent close to £350 ....would we go back defo no...chef and management need to accommodate a real xmas dinner..starters mainly..ie prawn cocktail with marie rose sauce...decent soup ..but non of these..waste of 350 quid..ali should be made mgr...hopefully get feed back from ali...

Ali and her team made our party of 18, Christmas lunch extra special. They looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble. They were obviously used to large group bookings and the service went so smoothly. Food was delicious and well presented. Enjoyed by all Thank you so much

Recently had dinner for three, very pleasant atmosphere and the food was excellent. Staff were smart, prompt and well mannered. We will definitely return again, all good.

Nice meal, beautiful restaurant nachos, home made, very tasty! Steak was a little too well done for a medium but very tasty. And the cheesecake was really delicious!

Popped in for dinner with family after church. Had a great meal with my husband and children and Ali, out server, was friendly, efficient and very lovely. She was professional in her role and had a lovely chatty personality which always helps. What a welcome change to have someone like her instead of a generic robot serving your dinner. Will definitely come back soon!

We went there as the place is dog friendly and the menu looked good. We had to wait for our burgers for 45 minutes, even though the place was pretty empty. Service is really slow, took forever for someone to come ask what we wanted to drink. All would have been acceptable if the food would not have been ice-cold.... we won't be back in a hurry.

First visit while been in holiday inn next door, booked my table, got seated promptly by kind girl and ordered, food was everything I required and served promptly. Place was very clean and staff very friendly. Very busy place so this is also a good sign

Having visited a few years ago, this place is vastly superior today. The food and service were great and the food was good!

Very helpful staff sorted out what's available to me that's gluten and dairy free. The burger was good, the fish and chips was excellent and good value. The soya milk cappuccino was excellent, better than the Smiddy. Well be back.

1st time at springkerse View since Greene Pubs took over....meat was melt in the mouth and delicious. The bonus for us is the dog can go inside and was fussed over big time......see you soon guys! Updated review 26/10/24 3 of us came in after booking a table, weren't told there was a reduced menu due to a grill not working., which is outwith their control. Had to send back onion rings as they were not crispy or hot and had been lying out. The portion sizes of the hunters chicken were very small, chicken fajitas were dry.

The food was mediocre. Different kind of meats where tough and dry. Wouldn't recommend this place. Worth the price? Not a chance. Although the service was good. The taste of the food wasn't.

Showed seat no menus, waited a few minutes for them then was in for 15m before asking for our drinks. The burgers were fine I ordered a steak, it was raw in the middle. Had steak here ages ago and it was the same. Maybe steaks are too hard for them to cook correctly but really just felt they don't care. Never go back.

The best family Sunday lunch, great food, with lots of entertainment for kids. Most of all Rhona the hostess with the mostees, kids call it Rhonda’s place as she makes them so welcome and valued.

Rona was excellent host and ensured our comfort and explained in full all the questions we asked. Rona was up front with the meals that were not available. Food arrived quickly and was well cooked. Drinks were good and husband liked the recommended beer 🙂 If we up this way again will do a return visit

My family and I had a table booked for 6:00pm. After having our order taken and drinks brought, we were sat for 50 minutes until someone came over and said 'I'm really sorry but I cant find your order anywhere, can you remember what you had?' So we had to re-order and weren't served our food till around 7:30pm. The two mixed grills were missing chicken so that had to be brought separate. The 8oz Sirloin had been cremated and tasted of nothing but burnt meat. The chicken skewers were inedible, bone dry. After attempting to consume the food, we went to complain. Our sever tried giving us a £90 bill. After explaining the situation, to our surprise, money was taken off the bill. So we had a terrible start, inadequate meals, but it only cost £36. Great. I don't think we will be returning

Starters was fine but we didn't even get our mains we gave up waiting and we weren't the only ones . And the staff didn't even apologise that are meals had been forgotten

So, having gone through some of the previous reviews I can state the following according to my overall rating: Some sort of hidden gem. The food (Veg Burger) was delicious, the sides and drinks aswell. Overall good concept, nice presentation of food, quality is where it should be. Further, staff is nice, welcoming and friendly. No issues at all. Only thing is, it is a bit hidden being located in an industrial zone, but considering my above points, it is worthwhile! Check it out yourself. It is good!

Great food, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Waitresses were all pleasant and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place if you are nearby and very convenient if you are staying in the Holiday Inn across the street.

A great place . Staff make sure you have a drink and give you time to order . Very attentive but leave you alone to enjoy your meal . Spoke to the owner. Waitress could not be more helpful. Had fish and chips and hunters Chicken. Will definitely be back 10 out of 10

Service was poor, had to keep calling staff to order. Chicken burger has no bacon description but bacon was added. Ordered a second one and said no bacon but it was included. Ordered a chicken charter and no coleslaw and spicy chicken added according to description. Pub was quiet and wanted to drink more but gave up and left.

Was in today for lunch. The staff were brilliant very polite and welcoming, food was tasty (salmon and the mini Mixed Grill). Clean and tidy. Nice comfy seats. Couldn't ask for a better lunch. Five star all round.

Ate here 2 consecutive nights, service and quality of food differed completely between the 2 evening meals. Same meal ordered both nights.

Bit of a weird place. There's a whacky warehouse attached to the pub which isn't blocked off so you have to listen to the screams of children as you try and eat your meal/enjoy a pint. It's handy for being so close to the holiday inn but wouldn't be my first choice again. The food was okay, the place seemed clean enough and staff were friendly but we had to remind them a few times about food and felt like they were quite stressed out due to a lack of staff.

What a great place! Stayed in the nearby hotel and popped into this place for a quick bite in our first day, and ended up returning multiple times throughout our trip. Food was great (ribs were amazing!), staff super friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect!

Rhona & her team were EXCELLENT with our group of 50 that came in for 9 days of late dinners. Food was excellent, drinks were flowing, and the prices were wonderful. And talk about kid friendly!

We stopped here for Sunday lunch & were really impressed, not just by the food but the brilliant service too. The team at Springkerse View could not have been nicer. A tasty Sunday roast at a very reasonable price & a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere. We’d definitely go back 😊

Went for a family lunch on a Saturday and some of the food was cold and not very good value for money. Also went for breakfast at 10.30 to be told there were no fried eggs. Service from 1 member of staff was non existing and we were the only people in the place!! We left without breakfast 🫣

Food was good, place was clean, there is a play area and staff were very helpful.

Not enough staff even though it wasn't that busy. Service was quite slow. Took almost 40 minutes to get 2 starters. Food usually is amazing but I ordered ribeye steak and when I turned it over,it had clearly been cut open a few times to check it was cooked, which resulted in it drying out and being tough. Chefs should be able to cook a medium steak without butchering it to make sure its cooked to order. Hard to get condiments as staff were busy and hard to find . Shame as we have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience before

We went in for a quick dinner and were seated in a nice big booth. I informed the staff I have allergies and they were instantly on it. After checking everything was okay to eat my husband and I had a lovely steak sandwich with coleslaw and chips. One child had chicken nuggets which were lovely and soft and the other had Mac n Cheese with bacon. We were seated and eating within 15 minutes. The staff were friendly and very helpful

The food was good pub grub, which we all happen to like. However, what made this meal great was our waitress, Ali. She was attentive, informative and funny. It's surprising how much difference great staff can make to a dining experience and Ali certainly lifted this meal to very positively memorable.

Food very basic, and seemed pre packaged. Overpriced for what it was. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The kids soft play is a good option for younger kids. Regularly use this soft play with my toddler as I can have a meal, and a soft down while he is kept entertained by the soft play. The soft play is good value for money

Not a good place to eat. We live locally and when this place first opened it was quite good, but now it is rubbish. Food is average, but it is the rude, disinterested staff that really make it so bad. Waiting to be served, then waiting again between courses, service is terrible. The faces on the staff when you ask for something, priceless. We won't be back.

Have genuinely never been so disappointed with a restaurant and won’t be back. Food quality was poor, ordered the prawns for starter which were undercooked and bland, then waited 45mins for mains to be served. Ordered the trio of meats Sunday roast and was served turkey, raised this with the server who took the plate away and returned with what looked like more turkey smothered in gravy, may well have been pork but certainly no beef, overall the dish was poor and looked like it had been reheated in a microwave. We were in the place 1hr 45mins for two courses with 3 children which is not ideal, didn’t seem to be a lack of staff however there were plates piled up on a table next to us and generally no regard for the customer. Couldn’t get out quick enough.

Arrived after quite long driving planning to stay on a next door hotel so it was nice surprise to have restsurant close by. There wasn't any other customers when we entered so we got our food quickly. Meals we ordered were great and service from Lewis was polite and professional. We got nothing to complain about.

Decent restaurant, but it's a little bit tucked away. Firstly the staff here were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. We stopped off here for lunch and the food was fine. I had the ultimate burger, which was very tasty. My partner had the scampi, which again was good. The menu is pretty extensive, with something for everyone.

I recommend not eating here. Thought that this would be a great place to eat with my family. As soon as we walked in there was 2 big dogs at a table. Neither of the dogs had service markings. When we sat at the table the server asked if we were given a list of items they didn't have and we all looked at each other and said what do you mean. In their name they call themselves a steakhouse but only had the rump steak. We ordered a burger with fries, nachos, and a side portion of macaroni. When the food arrived the burger was the only semi descent thing. The nachos were the size of quesadillas and closer to a pita, they didn't come with any sour cream, salsa or guacamole. The cheese on the nachos was flavourless. The burger patty on the burger was a frozen patty. The burger was supposed to come with onion rings but since that was one of the items that they didn't have they said they would sub for some corn on the cob. I never got the corn on the cob. The side portion of the macaroni and cheese was exactly 3 bites which they charged 3.50 pound for. We asked for a refill of water 3 different times and never received it once. When we wanted to leave and asked for the check we never got it. We had to got to the front to pay. On the way out the 2 dogs started barking at eachother and scared my 6 month old baby. Just overall don't go here.

Very quiet when we visited but that was fine. Staff and food were great.

Steak was just the way I like it, beer was fresh and cool. Quiet enough so you can comfortably talk to the others. Place could hold fair size event and has outdoor play area for children. Nice and clean.

Loved the play barn, decent food at a decent price

Arrived just after lunchtime so was relatively quiet. We took a small dog with us and were given a nice table near the door. Service was superb. Food was really good. It was simple pub grub but great value for money. Good choice of drinks. Definitely would return.

We were a party of 9... three generations all celebrating a special birthday. There was a wide choice on the menu and everyone enjoyed the meals they had chosen. We were served very quickly and all at the same time, which doesn't always happen with a large group. Full marks to the staff for their efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness. Special mention to Rhona, our waitress and Jade the chef whom we met too. I congratulated her on her Hunter's Chicken dish, which was the best I had tasted ever!

Cosy quiet restaurant. Food is ok. I have yet to see another place that serves katsu chicken curry with rice AND chips. Underwhelming. We ordered the hunter’s chicken and it came with 10, yes, 10 pieces of chips. We complained and got 6 more…whooohoo! Ribeye steak was good, and so was steak sandwich, but again miserly portions of fries. Nachos was overcooked too. Must do better if they want me back…

Staff were lovely! Put us in a nice quiet area and even though they were very busy they still made sure we were looked after ☺️ will definitely come back next time I'm in Stirling

So brought the girls to the soft play area, to be told they couldn't get in as it was full . We had been to nearly every soft play by this point . So we decided to get food and go home . Our server Josh was absolutely fantastic I told him what happened and he said the girls could go in to the soft play , he took the thorough no question asked . He was so friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic aswell . We will definitely be back . Brilliant service

Conveniently if you are staying at the hotel and the food is good (although our fries and onion rings were not hot) - pleasant staff.

Katsu chicken curry and haggis neeps and tatties pretty dry. Cauliflower starter lukewarm. Service was prompt and accurate, but goodness me, please do something about the door banging every time a staff member moves between the kitchen and dining room.

This is the worst food I have had so far this year. I stay in hotels 3 times per week, all over the UK and eating out 4 times per week. I ordered a gluten-free chicken stack burger. After 30 minutes of waiting, I enquired to learn that the staff member had forgotten to put the order through the till. Once ordered again, the food arrived. The bun was replaced with 2 slices of bread cut into a circle. The meat was solid and not fresh, I'd say, reheated in the microwave. It was disgusting, and I binned it. This dish cost £15.99. I attempted to share my disgust, and no one seemed interested. Never will I eat here again. 13/03/24: I said never again.... I was seeing a client site and was with a colleague who wanted to have a quick bite to eat. We had been driving since 1pm and arrived here at 6 pm, so we needed food quickly before attending the site at 7 pm. We ordered the pie and chips (see photos). As we ordered, we heard an elderly couple on the next table complaining that their food was not to standard. A manager attended, and we heard him say that the fois is pre-prepared and warmed up in a microwave or an air fryer. They had a refund. Our pie and chips arrived. I pulled out 4 small pieces of meat from my pie. It was mostly pastry and gravy. We complained and a member of staff said she would tell the manager. We watched her tell the manager, a male wearing black trousers, a grey shirt, a bald head, he and other staff were laughing. This was disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. We spoke with staff at our hotel (holiday inn), and they also confirmed that many if the guest complain about the pub food and staff. This time, I am definitely reporting this to Greene King to investigate further.

Visiting Stirling and we had Mediocre food served by actually quite a rather lovely girl, the young girl who served me was absolutely lovely and very honest and open about the poor (by the looks of it lack of) management, to the extent staff were quitting on the spot!! Spoke with fellow guests at the hotel opposite the pub and they also agreed the management are very, very poor. From what I hear it is a woman with short hair who is the head of the place, would explain quite a bit seeing as she was spotted walking aimlessly around smiling for the sake of smiling until a problem occurred Really to be honest the staff here deserves so much better, and for the price we pay so do the customers. From intentional short staffing to microwaved food this chain and its big boss(‘s?) only have one goal and it’s to milk every last penny out of the place and their minimum wage staff. All too common in the hospitality industry but this place is next level even by Greene Kings awful reputation. I thank the young lass for her very honest conversation and wish her and her fellow colleagues all the best, but me and my wife will not be back.

Didn't go into the pub itself, but the soft play extension on the side. Great idea with lots of equipment to keep the little (and not so little ) ones entertained while you enjoy a coffee or drink from the bar. The grandson loved it!

Mothers Day Lunch here today , got taken to a lovely booth and given a beautiful pink peony rose as it was Mothers Day . Food was great very tasty and home made Yorkshire pudding ! Service we received from a young lad named Josh was excellent, very polite and attentive . Lovely experience and a lovely way to spend a special Day . Thank you 💐

We've ate here a couple times now and definitely weren't disappointed, consider it a slightly better wetherspoon pub.... The atmosphere lacked a little due to the lack of customers but our dining experience was a positive one, my wife ate the Katsu curry which was delicious, portion size was generous and the buttermilk crispy chicken was cooked perfectly BUT price was quite steep. I decided to try the brand new "Steak Sandwich" on the menu which didn't disappoint, I wish they'd asked a cooking preference on the meat but the flavours were great, good amount of meat, beef dripping gravy was fantastic and the skin on fries were crispy, just the way I like them and believe it or not it was cheaper than the curry so can't complain. My only criticism of this place is the price could really stack up with multiple courses for what appears to be a budget friendly pub/grill that appears to be in the family friendly market, if it was slightly cheaper we'd return far more often.

Tried to give 17£ in old £1 coins to their "Macmillan Cancer Support" although is well known many charities are happy to accept old £1 coins Springkerse View - Pub & Grill did not "support any charity". Maybe cab driver tomorrow will take them of my hands.

Went for a quick bite in the early afternoon,menu was varied and good had the steak and ale pie brilliant,the woman serving us was polite very efficient and friendly surroundings were clean and most of all it was warm in s right blustery day ,will be back , excellent service.

Pleasant ambience. Food average. Chips weren't great, daughter didn't enjoy the kids pizza - too soggy. We were in there 2 hours because it took that long to get 3 courses. Staff very nice. Not too expensive.

Great part of this place is their soft play area. It's quite large, mostly clean. It's not free, £4.50 per child (last time I went). If you sit there prepare yourself as it's very loud! However, your kids have fun while you eat. The service is a bit slow, sometimes food don't come together but overall it's a great place to go with kids. The main restaurant area is modern and cosy. Food is good, large portions.
