This hotel is perfect location, quite small but delightful. I was however a little disappointed on arrival in a taxi; no one to open the door, no one to greet us at the hotel door or help with bags- although they were around at other times, we noticed. The additional cost of a junior suite is not really worth it- did not include breakfast or any real perks, like a teddy bear gift etc We arrived back from the show at 10.45pm; to our disappointment the bar was closed but the barman offered us some wine- I can only guess that anything else, was a bit much. We've stayed here before and liked it, so decided to come back. If they want to be a small leading hotel then I think a little attention is needed to detail. The room was OK but bathroom a bit tired. I could barely see in the drinks cupboard and safe as the lighting was poor. It could be soooo much more. Hopefully, if we decide to come back, then finer details will have been ironed out. Old gentleman was rude and racist to me. He said I’m not allowed in the hotel due to the colour of my skin. He was aggressive and horrible. Avoid this hotel at any costs.

Doorman was absolutely rude and racist. He told me not use the bathroom in the main lobby in poorly behaviour. Stay away from this hotel if you don’t want to be treated badly.

3.5-4 ⭐️ (definitely not a 5 star hotel). We stayed here last week because it was a hotel affiliated with GHA Discovery; London was our first stop on a multi-destination Europe trip. This was our least favorite hotel because the showers did not drain properly and the bathrooms were tiny. The room service was wonderful and the location was pretty good!

Stayed here on a last minute, missed-flight layover. Dario at reception was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. The rest of the staff was fantastic as well — especially the doormen (Mo was particularly good). Fabulous location and very comfortable rooms. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic hotel. Rooms are impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. As you would expect for such a hotel. The staff don’t do the hotel justice. Check in and check out was a nightmare as there is only one wired card machine between two desks. The staff can’t seem to work their computer system. Check out took nearly ten minutes. The staff running breakfast were so disorganised and forgetting orders. The food wasn’t great to be honest. I wouldn’t return

Great location, and OK room marred by odd service experience. The coffee machine had never been plugged in and when I called down to ask for coffee they said they did not have enough staff to bring it up. A leak in the bathroom and bread ordered before the meal that arrived after the meal. Not five star. It's a real shame, I wanted this to be my new fave place because the bones are there.

Pretty worn down place. Some ventilation system right in front of the window which sounds like a jet engine. Ceiling light is flickering. Mattress is stained. WiFi barely useable. Temperature was set to 27 degrees - now sweating all night.

Had booking like week ago and gentlemen at check in was talk to me and my colleague like we are plumbers or something even didn't expect us to check in.. hotel is bit old but its common thing in London unfortunately I can hear some people in other rooms .. don't even mention minibar.. hard to say how many stars to put in service 0 for guy on reception and 5 for breakfast waiter and. Who have made those pancakes is legend best pancakes I ever ate in my life that's why is 3 stars because only kitchen and waiters deserves it ..

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for my birthday and the staff where all amazing and very helpful. The door staff at the front of the hotel where absolutely lovely upon arriving and leaving. One issue we had was the noise in our room, we had a very loud unit outside the room and it was so loud that on the first night I did not get any sleep. We reported this the next morning to the manager (a Chinese man) I did not get his name but he was very helpful and apologized for the fact that we had not slept. He moved us room and we had a much better nights sleep. The room was beautiful and I think the negative comments about the room size from other reviewers are not taking into account the area and the price of a hotel in that area with a larger room, you would be paying much more for a bigger room in that area. The room was fine for us and when we where moved we where given a suite which was beautiful. As I say the manager was so lovely and such a helpful and pleasant person, had he not been so nice I would have likely asked for a refund and to stay in another hotel but his communication and genuine apology for the bad nights sleep was so lovely I wanted to give the hotel the chance to resolve the issue and they did. The hotel is great but the noisy machines are a real problem for it, not sure what you can do about that but I think it would be useful for the hotel to give earbuds...for some people noise is not an issue and they find it soothing but it would be helpful to have the option to block out the noisy. Only other advice is to run a damp cloth over the lighting units and remove dust. It was quite bad in both rooms and a real let down as the hotel is beautiful decorated. Many thanks Charlotte

Room is nice however the shower they didn’t build it correctly I put by accident it was on hot water and in order to get to change it I had to get burn from the hot water because u can’t get there otherwise. And if u are women and wanna wash your hair u can’t because it’s coming down like this so u can’t just do your body you need to wash the hair too which is not comfortable for me to shower from the top only. The water comes out on the floor everywhere because there’s no curtain only little glass that doesn’t cover much, and I had to use towels to clean the water on the floor which is super annoying! Why there’s no curtains and no way to know if it’s hot or cold water before and I have to guess and get burn in order to get it changed ? U have to fix this issue asap. In the room there’s no fridge only one that have the mini bar but there’s no extra fridge The room itself it beautiful though.

I wanted to write as we had an amazing time and the most lovely service. The staff were wonderful and not at all as the negative reviews describe. We went on Boxing Day, waiting for about 45 minutes (we expected this) and had such lovely attentive service with our delicious cocktails!
