Nice breakfast and great value for money. Good quality bacon and sausages, black pudding and beans. Lovely fried bread, wasn't greasy, was lovely. Not so keen on the mushrooms or the toast, the toast was soggy. My reason for not giving 5* was the plate was cold so the food went cold very quickly (my biggest bug bare) and the toast was far too soggy.

I have to say been in deal for years and only just seen this hidden gem not even 3 minute walk from my home. Breakfast is a good size for the money well spent The staff accomadated to my allergies of mushroom and it changed it with no hassle. The owner is a genuine gentleman and was a great host. The waitress was very friendly and helpful with the orders and spoke clear and calm. They welcome all ages with open arms and treat you like you belong a the shop. 10/10 would 100% come again without fail

This cafe has been open for a week now so I decided to pop in for a breakfast. Great customer service, lovely environment and very quick service. The food is very good quality, nice thick cut bacon and black pudding! I have now been here 3 times in the last week highly recommended!!

2-3 St George's PassageAs the many good reviews testify this restaurant provides well-cooked food and attentive service. However, when my wife and I visited on a cold November evening we found the heating to be so inadequate that we did not enjoy our visit at all. At first, I thought I was feeling the cold because of my old age, but then I heard much younger customers at a nearby table complaining about the temperature. One of them even had to stand up and stomp his feet to restore circulation. The waitress told us that all the heating was turned on, but I could only see two radiators in quite a large area, and they seemed quite ineffective. The manager then told us that the restaurant was cold because it was in an old building. This was hardly a convincing explanation as we had been in an 18th century pub less than an hour earlier and been quite comfortable. Before we had finished our main courses we decided that shivering under four layers of clothing was hardly the best way to spend a birthday celebration dinner, so we left and had our dessert elsewhere.

1 The Droveway, St Margaret's Bay, Dover CT15 6DH EnglandAbsolutely one of my new favourite places to go! The staff are always super polite and welcoming, and do whatever they can to ensure you have a lovely experience. Food is A-Ma-Zing!!! And super affordable. I recommend you get their homemade cakes 😍 Highly recommend!

2 Church StreetIf you check my reviews, you know I am hard to please. This place cooked great food, plus it was nice and cosy. I highly recommend the roast turkey, it was fantastic. The roast salmon took a bit longer but the staff brought us the turkey first and extra plates for us to get started on the turkey first. The salmon was cooked to perfection as well. Brilliant place to grab food on Dover.
