Really nice cafe that takes its coffee seriously, offering espresso based and filter drinks. Really nice setting and atmosphere. Some baked good and cakes on offer.

The coffee’s great, but people can be rude. I got scolded by one of the baristas for taking my cup back to them when I was done, because I “should’ve left it on the table” and “it’s more difficult this way” which is fine but you need to realize when someone’s trying to be nice and use the proper tone.

Cute little spot to stop by for a sandwich and a hot beverage. The surroundings are nice with very scandi vibes, and there's lots of natural light at the back of the cafe. Downside: depending on what you go for, their baked goods can be pretty hard. I was told by a staff member that they couldn't heat up the very rough cookie or muffin I ordered, not even slightly. This is the second time I've had sub par baked goods here (as I really wanted to give it a chance) but the blondie and cookie I ordered were verging on stale. Looks better than it tastes.

Perfectly nice little place, with cute aesthetic drinks for you Pinterest girlies. It matches your cozy needs and has reasonable prices. Although I did not try the confectioneries they looked tasty. I however can recommend the matcha latte and the hojicha latte.

Really nice internal design and atmosphere. Ordered a hot chocolate which is reasonably priced with its portion. Latte art on hot chocolate is amazing, plus it tastes really nice with a slight hint of soy, would definitely recommend

UPDATE: Something's different in this place. I've been visiting frequently and I feel like I have to point some things out. I work in the area, so Store street espresso is my go to coffee spot. However, recently, the service often feels cold and most of the staff seem uninterested. Like, they just want you to finish your order in order to ask the person after you. I understand this job is tiring, but I'm pretty sure they're not forced to be there. The coffee has been hit or miss. I've had the whole temperature spectrum. From boiling hot to almost warm. Filter is almost always good. If the cake & sandwich selection wasn't so good, I would give a lower score. I haven't had a single bad bite of food in this store. I genuinely love most of the sandwiches. My favorite is the oyster mushroom sandwich, and I'm becoming a fan of the updated salmon bagel. Their cakes are always fresh and I love the fact that they freshen up their line-up often. The black sesame matcha loaf is to die for. OLD REVIEW Solid coffee, friendly service but the real standout in this shop is the sweet offerings. Quite possible some of the best stuff I've had in London. I tried the new almond cookie today and I think I'm in love. The gluten free nutella thingy is also quite delicious. Keep doing what you're doing.

I ordered a flat white and a matcha and both of them were barely warm. I would prefer if their drinks were slightly hotter since they reached room temperature in almost 6-8 mins. The atmosphere is loud, chatty and they have music playing. Do not recommend for studying but do recommend for catching up with a friend and meeting here. Very hard to find a seat though.

Lovely setting and great tasting coffee/food. Bright pretty interior. However on the rather expensive side for iced drinks, £4.30 is a bit much. Especially considering nearby places in the area and how they offer some sort of NHS, blue light, or student discount. Quite bad that you don’t. Staff also not the friendliest, no smiling or happy greeting.

Their coffee and matcha are super tasty. Food is good. Service is friendly. It’s a place where you can also stay and work for some time with your laptop.

I came in on a whim and now I will be dreaming of their mushroom bun with onion jam and chive mayo for the rest of my life because it was incredibly delicious - tip, get it toasted for heavenly tastiness. The matcha and black sesame cake was also very tasty, not too sweet and light without being dry. I'm not a coffee drinker so I got a lemonaid passionfruit flavour which was really nice and refreshing. There were a lot of people in here at lunchtime on a Sunday but I didn't realise there are actually more tables downstairs, but upstairs is airier and a bit brighter. They also have a bathroom. The atmosphere is nice and I enjoyed my meal a lot.

Cosy bustling place with a lovely atmosphere and nice music. The wifi doesn't work at all, but it's a great spot to get some work done - they are very lap-top friendly. Plus, their matcha latte is super solid (as a matcha snob I can recommend it). I got their oyster mushroom sandwich (toasted!) which was delicious. The only thing I would say is they are lacking a bit in the GF department, could do with some bread alternatives for their sandwiches and a GF cookie or sweet option. Lot's of Veg options though :)

Bright atmosphere (skylight!), happy for you to study with a laptop as long as you need! Hojicha, chai latte and banana blondie were all great, my personal fave is the peanut butter cookie!! Baristas are all lovely 🥰

Visiting London for a few days. I found this coffee shop nearby my hotel, and I couldn’t stop visiting each day to get breakfast and drink the best latte in London. Good atmosphere and great service. I totally recommend the plantain cakes, too. See you next time…

Best cortado I have had in London when I visited! The kimcheese sandwich is definitely a new favourite. Carrot cake was delicious and right taste in your mouth. Incredibly polite and friendly staff. Highly recommended! Great atmosphere Update” Grilled cheese with mustard isn’t good I think the mustard needs to be replaced or removed at all. Pour over coffee need some improvement

I always come back here every time I visit London. Great coffee and delicious food, plus it’s a lovely light-filled oasis in the heart of London, tucked away just enough that it’s usually calm and chilled. Great seating outside too, I’ve sat outside all through the seasons and the vibes are always spot on.

I’ve been here before and previously had a good latte. Today, I ordered an iced latte which was extremely milky and hardly tasted like any coffee. There also wasn’t enough ice so my coffee was very warm and the ice melted very quickly. After tasting the coffee and being pretty disappointed, I went to ask if I could have an extra shot added in (extra 50p). I was told by the barista that this wasn’t possible and I’d have to order a single espresso to add into my latte. I tried to kindly indicate the coffee I had received was pretty poor but again said I had to get a single espresso - which cost £3.30!! Shocking really and disappointed. My coffee ended up costing almost £7 :(

Fantastic place, great art on the walls, a comfortable space with skylights, good furniture without being fussy or precious, great coffee, competent service. Good spot on a quiet street if the weather is fine. Marked it down because the toilets, whilst above average, didn't reach the same stellar standards as the rest.

Stalwart server of high quality coffee in Bloomsbury, but service can be poor at times. Spread over two levels, with a useful amount of tables. Art to purchase on the walls.

Amazing coffee. I think one of the best coffees in London. Cost around 3-5 pounds. After trying so many places nearby Liverpool street I can say that this is my go to coffee in the morning. I always go for almond honey latte. Best!!

Store Street Espresso is a charming coffee shop offering Square Mile Coffee and an array of delicious treats, including croissants, cakes, toasties, avocado on toast, salads, and filo pastries or sausage rolls. The interiors are contemporary and relaxing, with walls adorned with art, a skylight, and hanging green plants, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Situated near central London universities, it attracts a young intellectual crowd, as well as office workers and local residents. There are also a few tables and chairs on the pavement, perfect for enjoying the sunshine.

Really excellent coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We didn’t eat but there were vegan options for sandwich and cake which look lovely.

You can go here even if you don’t have an Apple laptop.

Visited Store Street Espresso with my friend Aysun and had a delightful experience. We ordered a latte and a flat white, both of which were exceptionally well-prepared—truly some of the best coffee we've had! We also shared a muffin that was just as pleasing. The atmosphere of the cafe added to the enjoyment of our visit. Most importantly, spending the day there with Aysun made everything feel even more special. Highly recommend this spot for a great cup and a pleasant time!

The coffee is on average and a bit small. The place is nice, with many tables but it's a bit cool because the door is always open. I like the window in the ceiling, it makes the room bright

Store Street Espresso has great coffee (and tea!). I especially love the attention they pay to creating a good batch brew and I think their cold brew is some of the best in London. The food is unfortunately mediocre, but I appreciate they try to cater to a range of dietary restrictions so people can find something to eat there regardless of their dietary preferences/restrictions. The interior is nice, too, and they exhibit art on the walls. My main problem with this place is that it is ALWAYS crowded. I used to love studying here, but I don't, because there are just too many people. The queue is massive too, so despite the fact that it is near the library where I do my research, I hardly even get takeaway from there anymore. Store Street's coffee is certainly worth trying-- just don't expect to sit there and know you'll have ot stand in line for awhile!

Returning to London after a few years it was great to see that this little gem still exists. Great coffee, lovely stuff and almond croissants to die for!

I was so excited to find another spot near UCL to get some work done, but unfortunately the WiFi signal is simply not strong enough to support several people on laptops (which seems to be a frequent occurrence) The flat white & service were really lovely, despite the cafe being quite busy the whole time I was here— about 1h. I ended up leaving earlier than planned as the WiFi simply would not work, no matter what I tried. The staff said it was probably because “too many people are using it” but in my opinion if you offer WiFi, it should be strong enough to support the occupancy of your store. In short— Lovely for coffee, but don’t come if you’re reliant on WiFi to get work done!

The coffee was delicious, the pastries okay-ish. I love the indoor area, it has a lot of natural light. The only thing that is off-putting - the bathrooms. So dirty! Please take care of it!

Love the atmosphere in this cafe. There’s so much natural sunlight, perfect for sitting alone doing work or hanging out. We ordered the cold brew which was light and refreshing with a hint of cocoa note, it was a little more sour/fruity than what I am used to, this is definitely more of a personal preference, but it’s something to note if you’re not into the fruity kind of flavour. Overall, would definitely come back.

I love Store Street and have been going here for years but I’m so disappointed to see that they’ve stopped offering mugs and glasses when dining in (they now only serve drinks in paper and plastic cups now)! Bad for the planet and drinks taste worse in paper. It’s disappointing and feels like such a backwards transition to be making.

Very good coffee and toasted sandwich. Nice place to hang out and do some study. I only wish the coffee was served in a ceramic cup: on the day, it was all small paper cups, which was disappointing. Not good. Not sure why, and I hope this was just the dishwasher being out of action on the day, but they know how to make a good cappuccino. The staff are quiet and seem very focused on the job. I'll return, in the hope that the cup situation is resolved.

I'll give the baristas the benefit of the doubt that they made a mistake but I've had the worst espresso of my life. Horrible to the extent that I couldn't touch it beyond tasting.

The most excellent coffee shop. It's my new favourite proper coffee shop in London, easily! Brilliant flat whites and batch brew. Lovely cakes. Reasonable price too. Easy to pay with card but not sure if they take cash or not. Lovely staff. A small retail shelf with plenty of roasted beans etc. A great location. I would really struggle to find a negative! It gets busy but it's as nice in takeaway form! Highly recommend! My new go to for proper coffee when in London!

This place has got a nice interior design and very delicious coffee. It was full when I went there with many university students from the neighboring colleges. Overall, the atmosphere is friendly and can get very noisy to work, but the good thing is that they are keeping the music volume low.

A nice café in central London (within walking distance from Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations). Perfect for remote working. Good options for a light lunch.

Wow, this place is amazing, my wife and I stumbled across it on our way across London and it is fantastic. We both had the SriLankan Vegetable Soup and it was out of this world, fresh and vibrant ingredients - definitely worth a visit !

Met some friends here, very nice and clean. The food and drinks were a bit overpriced but I expect that as it is in London. I had an almond crossiant (£3.10) it was big and tasty! We also got 2 toasties (ham and cheese and the Kimchi toastie) and a cup of tea which came to £17+ Everything was nice and the toasties were hot as well. The toilets were ok as well.

Great cafe with plenty of seating indoors and a few on the street. Lots of day light makes its way into the cafe. I found patrons in the cafe are focused and working rather than chitchatting so the volume was good for focusing. I had a flat white with a ham and cheese croissant. I found it to be a bit tough to cut with the provided knife. Coffee was great!

Wow, my cappuccino had a great taste and great foam texture!

I ordered a cappuccino and it was more like a latte but it had a good taste. I like the art on the wall. They have vegan banana bread and muffins. I didn't try them but they looked good. Free wifi, no electrical outlets. There's a water fountain. They only take cards, no cash.

This place has the nicest atmosphere. The art work, plants and minimalistic style feels really natural, nice and welcoming. The matcha and chai latte was also great quality. I would recommend this place for sure (just one star down because it’s a bit pricey).

Really well brewed coffee and delicious treats. Came here twice. One for dining in and one for take out. I got a mocha for the former and a cold brew for the latter. Could not recommend both enough. The atmosphere is also comfortable and ideal as a study/work space as well as a social environment with friends. Love the simple design and artworks on the wall as well.

Little cramped upstairs, downstairs is a little too bare! Coffee is nice, I had a mocha and some toast with spreads. The jam seemed homemade it was very nice and light.

I tried this cafe on the back of a recommendation. The cafe has seating space on the ground and below ground level so it's bigger than it seems at first. I had the matcha latte which was done to my liking (not too sweet to let the matcha shine) and the banana bread which was decent too. One thing to be mindful of is the price as the standard matcha latte is about £4 which is quite steep.

Been in Camden Town area for one week and this has been the best of many flat whites. They seem hard to find in London. Seems very popular with a young student (studious) crowd.
