Lovely cakes and drinks served by friendly volunteers in a historic setting. Lots of seating outside, and the inside seating is well spaced out. And the value is exceptionally good for a city centre location. Highly recommended.

We where enjoying our drinks, until a women started complaining about the homeless guy, who was just sitting on the floor… What she said about the man, just made my stomach turn! She even got the manager from the church and they asked him to leave! I thought church was for everyone, and specially people in need! I’m absolutely discussed by it!!!

Not only do you get a lovely tea or coffee and a good choice of homemade cakes and savouries, but you also get to eat them in a very tranquil setting. The light coming in through the stained glass windows is so relaxing and the windows also really warrant prolonged inspection as they are very detailed & old. The prices are exceptionally good value for money and it is nice to be able to benefit a local entity rather than a national chain. All the volunteers are really friendly and hard working plus they wipe the tables down as soon as they are vacated so there is no concern regarding Covid etc.

We'd been wandering around Norwich for a while and were in need of a sit down and a coffee. This place was ideal - it's a really relaxing space with friendly people and homemade cake. What else could you want?

Set among all the usual bland brand eateries is this lovely church cafe. The people serving are so nice and the seating outside is excellent. The sandwiches , teas and cakes were all first class and very reasonably priced. Go there you will love it.

Very modern, extremely clean, Covid-19 safe. Good coffee and cake selection. Surprising to find this space inside the Cathedral.

Was looking for somewhere quick before going to the theatre matinee and as I walked by I thought I would give it a try. Glad I did - lovely cheerful staff and gorgeous scones - it works for the Community which gives you a nice lift and knowing you contributing is nice. Will go again .

Don't support the multiple franchise coffee shops,so, really great to find a church/ volunteer run cafe in the city centre. Food is fine, coffee and tea are great. Welcoming staff and clean toilets. Would recommend to all.

We found this coffee shop by pure chance whilst shopping in Norwich - what a fantastic find - The coffee shop is within the church and is very clean and tidy - The cakes are all home made by their volunteers and are good sized portions - Tea is properly served in nice cups and saucers . The staff make everyone feel genuinely welcome and that their custom is appreciated - If we visit Norwich again I will certainly look forward to visiting this coffee shop - highly recommended

Good food and such good value. The prices are about half that of usual cafes. The café is run as a charity and the ethos is that customers pay what they can afford. I hope people respond as it's such a good idea to support worthy causes.

We stopped here in mid-morning when we were in need of some refreshments. We had coffees and slices of an absolutely delicious cake. The prices were also very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in pleasant surroundings, having been served by some very friendly ladies, This visit was a real joy.

Ok I only live 5 miles away but avoid going into civilisation unless I have to - but today on a twice annual visit to the dentist, we came across the cafe in St Stephens Church. Lovely friendly service, great latte and the cherry/almond cake was delicious and really tasted homemade. Prices were very reasonable and lovely quiet surroundings. Just looking at the various stained glass windows was fascinating. Odd to think that 30 years ago I walked past every day to go to work. If you want a quiet, reasonably priced drink/snack then I recommend here.

On a trip to Norwich we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and came across this wonderful church so thought we would pop in and I am so pleased we did. I had the most delicious butternut soup I've ever had, hubby had a toasty but ended up finishing my soup. We each had a hot drink. What a lovely gem of a place wish this was in newcastle is never be away. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Each week a group of friends meet here, the coffee/ teas and food are served by volunteers and its good Wholesome Home Cooking at its best, the Saussage Rolls are a MUST..if they don't run out as they are so "Yummy" you pay what you can afford and I like to give extra as its charity and well worth it in a Christian environment such a great friendly atmosphere,

YMCA confirmed this cafe has closed for good. A great shame as it was great value and very convenient for the city centre. They now have a cafe called Williams Kitchen on the Aylsham Road.
