Mom and I popped in for lunch - what a treat! I chose one of today’s specials - chicken, bacon & leek casserole - so much tender tasty chicken & mom chose pork. There were 5 specials alongside a wide choice on the menu. Great portions, piping hot & staff were so friendly & efficient.

This review is in relation to Supervisor /Manager I believe her colleague called her Jess. When I asked if an umbrella could be placed over our table her arrogance and body language said it all. She really shouldn’t be working with the public. The other members of staff were helpful and polite by and the food was lovely. I feel sorry the staff have apologised for the person who should be setting a good customer service example. I visited with my elderly Mother on Sunday 7th July, needless to say with another two Garden Centres close by we shall not be returning to this one. This looks bad for both the Restaurant and the Garden Centre. She needs a lot more training or maybe a job away from the public, she was so miserable.

Went here on a Saturday morning, and bought some garden furniture for £2,500. We had decided to have breakfast after finalising the paperwork, and went to the cafe, arriving at 11.04, to be told by the'Head of Command' that we were too late, breakfast finishes at 11.00am! Despite my protestations, she would not budge, and wasn't even pleasant with it! Needless to say, I cancelled the order, and went elsewhere for both garden furniture and food! Pathetic customer service at its finest! I've had to enter 1 star which is 1 more than its worth.

Very disappointed. Ordered full English breakfasts and received one sausage, one piece of bacon, one under cooked egg and a ramekin of beans for £12 each! Cups were dirty; had tea/ coffee stains on the outside. Milk had black bits floating in it. Had to ask for cutlery. Spent a ridiculous amount of money for the worst breakfast I've ever had. Won't be returning.

Dropped in for a coffee. My wife selected a scone for me and very glad she did. Good sized cheese scone, very fresh with plenty butter on the side. Washed down with a decent coffee. My wife had a toasted tea cake which was of a similar standard. Nice homely and relaxed surroundings. Will return.

An excellent experience.

This garden centre and café is now part of a nationwide chain. The coffee was not of barista standard and we found the cake to be overly sweet.

I would like to say what an excellent asset Rhys is to the restaurant. I visit regularly with my family with the past few times just myself and my 5 year old grandson. Each time Rhys has been the member of staff to greet and serve us at all times very friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble for him. I visited on Sunday 29.1.23 again excellent service from him I also heard him training a young lady at the till his manner and patience was excellent. I know how hard it is to find good staff he is a keeper!

It's been a while since we visited Studley and it was a combined visit. To buy some tropical fish and have lunch. It was a great a surprise to see such a huge improvement on the cafe/restaurant. It's at least 5 times the original size and the menu is much extended. The surroundings are very pleasant , cane furniture and pot plants made it feel very fresh. It was very busy so be prapred to wait a while as the food is cooked to order. I had the fish and chips and my other half had the steak pie. Both were served piping hot and not a bit was left! Would definitely go again.

Fab!!! Cakes are the size of my head. It is pricey but you get fed! Fresh food all day and so much choice. Crockery needed updating, the tea pots were really chipped. That us the only moan. It's warm, ideal for family or small groups, disabled and pushchair friendly. Lovely afternoon out. Thanks again x

Feel I need to write an updated review. Visited Saturday lunchtime so quite busy. Went up and ordered a cold drink and a decaf tea. Waited over 30 mins before I went to chase my tea, lady swept her hand along her backlog of drinks orders, saying she was busy however she was also on her phone! I saw others going up to chase their drinks. No apology just moaning about no staff. The staff seemed to be walking round with lots of food not knowing where to take it. I think my tea came after 45 mins and it came from the children’s play area next door. Didn’t taste decaf. Defo won’t rush back here

What a lovely family venue! The staff were attentive and saw to check in several times. Megan our server recommended to my husband to have the ham, cheese & fig toastie which was delicious. I’m a celiac and I had the sautéed mushrooms which were beautiful! So glad we found this place. Would definitely recommend.

16 of us sat down to have a Xmas meal. To our delight the tables were made very nice and in a festive manner. The food when served was piping hot, and absolutely delicious, as with the starters and deserts. James and Nang did us extremely proud. I urge anyone contemplating giving them a visit, go ahead have a meal, l assure you, you will not be disappointed Well worth visiting, looking forward to the next one.
