I've never posted a food review in my life. if I don't like it I don't go back simple as that . But when it's so bad you f@@k chips up its bad.its the worst chip shop I've eaten from

Always had good food here but seems to have changed owners - they weren’t even real chips!!! Frozen chips thrown in the fryer, just gutted Sadly won’t be a returning customer

I walk away from the place looks a dump

Me and my companion wanted to dine and enjoy some fish cake buttys. We were extremely disappointed when we couldn’t add the salt & vinegar ourselves and then we discovered the fish cake was harder then my abs after a session at the gym.

Thought I'd try now new management.. never again.. Chips over done.. but they wrapped them too early so then went soggy has v bitter taste. Fish v thin and soggy too . The peas very runny.. not cheap either. I ordered fish special but realised when adding up the individual items that the 'special' costs 45p more at 6.50. It was dead on a Friday night and can see why. Owners seemed nice the food just needs improving.

Called by on our way home, unfortunately did not live up to expectations! Chips already cooked when put in fryer (which is fine) but weren't in long enough to be hot on inside. Oil not hot enough to crisp up chips, just soaked them in grease. Fish was nice but very thin layer of batter. Could still see the fish. Unfortunately won't be going back.

Minging fishcakes, just got my money back.

Just eaten a freshly cooked cod of which they were going to serve me old chips, so I asked for fresh chips please of which they obliged. £6.85 So I have a just sat down to eat my tea of which i have an about cooked anaemic battered fish non crispy with very very runny mushy peas chips not bad. 1st bite of fish and I was lucky enough to get 3 bones nice. So wont be revisiting sorry not sorry The new owners seem nice enough just being honest

Llamado en el lugar de la cena para llevar chips y pastel de pescado. Cuando llegamos a casa descubrimos que las papas fritas eran todas duras y masticables, colocamos el 95% de ellas en la basura porque no eran comestibles. Las tortas de pescado se veían estupendas y tenían un tamaño grande, pero una vez más tenían una textura masticable como si hubieran estado paradas un tiempo o cocinadas de nuevo. Debería haberlos llevado de vuelta, pero después de estar fuera todo el día no se pudo molestar. No volvería de nuevo, incluso si a punto es inanición.

Food severely under cooked , greasy , staff nice but unfortunately would not return & would not recommend unless you want to waste your money !!

Me recomendó este pescado local y chips.Al entrar en la era explicar el trabajo frier a alguien, él no reconocía que estaba allí. Una señora vino desde la parte trasera de la tienda soslayada de muñeca/Correa para el cuello. Y luego me sirvepedí un pastel de pescado butty.Cuesta £1. 90La era floja y breadcakes pastoso. El pastel de pescado fue de alrededor de 6 pulgadas de alto.Intentando comer, el bateador era crujiente en la parte superior, pero dentro estaban aguados y no hecha. El puré era de unos 3 centímetros y cada pieza de pescado un sienten molestadas en el medio.Oh cielos, no ir allí de nuevo.

Probably the best chips in south yorkshire and do a nice meat pie, but not the cleanest chippy on the map. Still nice though.

The potato scallops are very tasty, especially on a cold day. Cheap and good value for money. Can sometimes be quite greasy but only on rare occasions.
