Sushi Bar in Kensington and Chelsea

El ambiente es genial y tener cantantes para marcar la temporada navideña realmente aumenta el ambiente. El personal es eficiente y amable. El sushi es bueno, pero ciertamente no lo suficiente para justificar estos precios. En Harrods debe esperar pagar una prima. Sin embargo, a estos precios te sientes estafado. A menos que tengas dinero para quemar, es mejor evitarlo.

fake sushi. this is not japanese Sushi, chinese or US sushi. not worth eating. 昔は寿司職人が握る本格寿司がHarrodsに入っていたのですが、今は中韓が経営する「典型的なFAKE SUSHI店」に変わってしまい残念。食べる価値ゼロ。

Beautiful sushi. Otherwise, cramped seating at the counter, unresponsive service, counter pace too small (akin to eating on a dining tray), tiny pieces of sushi, so noisy that you can’t hear your dining companions We were seated by the tills, so I was facing onto them from my seat at the counter, approximately two feet away from the till where approx five people were shouting at each other doing till training. No awareness of diners sitting next to them. £250 for four or five small plates for three people in a stressful, poorly served restaurant. An example of how not to do it. Never again.

Whilst everything seems Harrod's style flawless, please be aware of a couple of things. Take out a mortgage to pay for a glass of wine and they say '8pieces' on the menu, but the pieces are very small. Snow crab California rolls to die for, devine.

We decided to stop for a lunch whilst shopping at harrods. I must admit it is very pricey, however, personally I feel it’s worth the money as food quality was superb! We are after all in Harrods, I don’t expect anything to be cheap. We had the edamame to start, scallops, beef with truffle sushi, tuna sashimi, chicken gyoza, green tea and sake. What a delightful and enjoyable lunch. Will definitely return. The one area which I feel needs improvement is the waitress service. Wasn’t that impressed with the girl who served us. Other than that,I couldn’t fault anything else!

We went three times in one week; Sushi rolls, especially the crispy crab sushi rolls, are delicious and of high quality. The house champagne is a perfect match. Very friendly staff and attentive. We suggest booking online to avoid standing in the queue. The only thing that bothered us was that at the last visit, the Manager was coughing and had no mask on in an open setting like a sushi bar, a no-no.

Excellent sushi bar. My husband had their special and it was very tasty. I had the wagyu beef which was very good. Service was spotty. They seemed confused and we felt rushed. After spending close to $300 on dinner that was not ideal. Afterwards we had wished we had only gotten a couple rolls. But must give their sushi chef complements, our expensive selection was well prepared and tasty.

A great meal however a little pricey. The menu was limited which gave little option to mix and match. The food is prepared fresh and spedily which prevented the opportunityto mix the sushi. Staff were helpful. A must for a special treat. Maybe a selection mix would be helpful or 4 pieces instead of 8.

Dining in the Sushi bar at the Harrod's where next to the food hall, but the service is not good, the waiter is quite rude. Some food such as the eel is tasteful, but the taste of wagyu beef is so far so good only. Will not go there again.

Sushi rolls and wagyu beef with rice were delicious breaks in our shopping. Staff were attentive as well.

My wife wanted to stop by the Harrod's Food Court. We decided on The Sushi Bar. What a rip-off. I had the Crunchy King Crab California roll - 8 pcs for $28 lbs. I can get better Sushi with larger portions in the Sushi restaurants in Grand Rapids, Michigan for less than $10 US dollars. I had the Chicken Gyoza and they charge $8 lbs for 4 pcs. This is the only place I have visited that does not offer 6 pcs. My wife had the Tempura Soft Shell Crab and this was also expensive ($23.80 lbs). We also had the EBI Cooked Prawns Sashimi - they only brought out 3 pcs. Our server forgot our water. We had eaten at plenty of Sushi places over the years and this was the most over priced restaurant we have eaten at. The quality is slightly better than a grocery store. Hope the rest of the place at Harrod's are better than this.

We decided to have treat for my 40th Birthday my daughter and I had the most amazing time and the sushi is to die for! The service is amazing and the menu selection room varied please try the spicy Salmon roll and the Waugh Beef our favourite! Lovely touch with a Harrods birthday card and complimentary Japanese sake as a treat thank you so much can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I went to the restaurant today . The chair was uncomfortable.The price was exotically expensive and unreasonable.Everything was in small portions .After leaving ,I still felt really hungry.The staff put our food on the same dish which misleaded my friend into eating my salmon . The food tasted ordinary and it wasn’t worth it .I also waited for half an hour for my dish .I recommend you not to go there.

Don’t go. I am a big sushi fan from Seattle where there are many excellent sushi restaurants. I’ve been to Japan many times and had the best sashimi there. At Harrods, first I had a yellow tail (hamachi) carpaccio. It was swimming in a soy sauce so it was hard to taste anything besides salt. Then I ordered soft shell crab roll. At Blue C Sushi, a conveyer restaurant, cheap, it’s much better. Here the sushi rice was quite unusual, transparent, which I personally didn’t care for. Moreover, in a typical British way they topped the roll with mayo. The crab was not as prominent as I expected, unlike in Seattle where the end pieces of the roll have crispy tempura legs sticking out. To improve my meal I ordered a toro sashimi. It was a bad cut, full of sinew, hard to bite. Moreover, it was cut long ago and stored in a fridge. It was very cold and it was hard to taste anything. Both texture and taste was lacking. My wife took me there for my birthday. Expensive but big disappointment.

good fish, tasty rolls, nice service (the girl serving was very kind and polite).. a bit overpriced, but the very negative point is that you don't have place to move, I felt extremely uncomfortable (people passing trough the store kept touching me while walking around).. but I have to consider the fact it was under the festivities

During a shopping trip to Harrods, a quick stop in the food hall at the sushi bar. Cozy at the counter, I choose two types of sushi (8 rolls of each), together with a seaweed salad, washed down by with a glass of saki. Great taste, but a bill of £85 pounds sterling for a light lunch,was a tad expensive! I will not return.

Fresh, well presented and high quality sushi!! The food was amazing and most definitely worth the price!

Es beginnt mit einer Armada von Empfangsdamen und Herren, die hier den Weg in die heiligen Refugien der Food Hall managen. Da es die Leute gewohnt sind, in der Schlange zu stehen, ist das nichts außergewöhnliches. In Relation zum Gebotenem, Maki in ordentlicher Qualität, wie man es in einer Sushibar erwarten darf, ohne außergewöhnliche Sensation, sind die Preise hier doch etwas überzogen. Für zwei Makirollen und zwei Becher Grüntee ist man schnell um 60 Pfund erleichtert, wenn auch nicht gesättigt. Übrigens, von den drei georderten Gerichten, Avocado/Lachs role, California Role und Edamame kommen nur die Makis auf den Tisch, die dritte Bestellung Edamame war schon zuviel und wird vergessen, findet sich aber selbstverständlich auf der Rechnung wieder. Der grüne Tee wird um 7 Pfund in einem Tonbecher serviert, der maximal 125 ml des Tees beinhaltet. Fazit, wenn man für wenig viel ausgeben möchte, ist man hier richtig. Anmerkung:die Foodhall besteht ausserdem aus verschiedenen Themenbars, wie Grillbar, Seafoodbar oder Pastabar, an denen man mehr oder weniger bequem rund um die Schauküche gesetzt wird. Wem das zusagt, wird hier seine Freude haben.

En primer lugar, el Black Dragon Roll tiene tempura de camarones que sabía y se sentía como si hubiera sido cocinado horas antes (gomoso, duro, pegajoso) y por $ 28 fue un mal valor.El sashimi fue cortado fresco, como era de esperar, y estaba deliciosoEl carpaccio de Hamachi fue el mejor plato que tuvimos con diferencia.No volvería de nuevo. $ 250 almuerzo para dos.

Me temo que la comida era muy normal, por debajo de los estándares de muchos otros restaurantes japoneses. Esperábamos que fuera caro, pero la calidad no estaba allí. El servicio también era bastante normal, trayendo bebidas equivocadas y comida equivocada un par de veces.El personal de servicio no parece tener mucha experiencia.Lo echaría de menos. No vale el dinero.

We have never tasted sushi like it! The food was honestly out of this world and there was such a variety to choose from! The staff our presentable, polite and very friendly! The restaurant has beautiful surroundings and decor!

If you have just a short time for a bite to eat in downtown London, then this is a wonderful choice. Great surroundings and wonderful service.... delicious.

Salimos del Sushi Bar en Harrod's con sentimientos algo mezclados.El entorno es muy lujoso y el sushi es muy bueno, y sirven algunos artículos extravagantes como otoro (atun belly) o caviar. Por supuesto, siendo Harrod's, el lujo tiene un precio, que está muy por encima de lo que tiene que pagar en otro lugar por un sushi de calidad comparable.Hasta ahora todo bien y expectativa. Lo que realmente nos disgustó fue la forma en que los taburetes están apretados en el mostrador. Es solo para personas a las que les gusta frotarse los hombros, los codos y las rodillas con extraños (aunque estés sentado lo más cerca posible de tu pareja), o escuchar sus conversaciones y llamadas telefónicas a una distancia de unos centímetros. Esta no es forma de disfrutar realmente de una comida.

Sushi is absoloutly Devine such a wonderful setting with very professional staff which made our visit a perfect one

Queríamos llevar un poco de sushi a casa para cenar. Un delicioso maitre d'hote nos miró e inmediatamente nos ofreció un menú para elegir. Ella nos ayudó a hacer una buena selección y organizó el pedido y el pago sin problemas. Muy amable y el sushi / sashimi eran deliciosos!

Had a drink after work. Just amazing. I just fall in love. Rightly recommended. You will be very welcome.

Soy una amante de la comida japonesa pero no de cualquiera, Me gusta mucho este sitio para una comida rápida porque la calidad de los productos se aprecia mucho. La única pega es que quizás son un poco incomodos los asientos y hay muy poco sitio.

Nice quiet place, especially at around 7pm, when the fashion floors are not so crowded. Personnel is very nice and smiling :)

I have visited this champagne bar a few times and I always appreciate the laid back atmosphere - especially in a hectic major city like London! Staff are friendly and they are able to fix you up with a champagne to match your taste buds.

Great place to drop your bags and sit with a glass of Champagne whilst shopping in Harrods. Nice bite size food to accompany too although quite expensive. Doesn't get over-busy and service always efficient.

Came with my family after an afternoon of shopping. Had delicious chocolate dipped strawberries which the children loved. We also shared a bottle of champagne as its cheaper to buy the bottle. Lovely relaxing vibe & waitress was lovely & kind to our children

A really nice spot for a cocktail or a glass of champagne. It is recommended for a conversation before lunch or dinner, or after meals.

Si quieres burbujas extravagante en el bar más largo de champaña de Europa no hay ningún otro lugar a donde ir. También es un perfecto comienzo que viaje a París, ¡pero no te olvides que trajeran en el tren, ( digo tienen un montón de refrigerados burbujas en el bar o servido a su primera clase asiento en el tren.

Este es uno de los mejores lugares ocultos en Harrods.
