You need to check they’re actually open before ordering online! Have ordered online through their chefonline website, pre paid - when I arrived to collect was told they were closed (this was before their closing time according to their website). Very disappointing after a long shift. Hope I can manage to get the money back!!

First time here, bit disappointed as ordered chicken tika & there was literally 5 very wafer thin slices of chicken with a lot of sauce and rice and it was very salty. The peshwari bread was nice. Friends meal... chicken & mushroom balti again hardly any chicken. Onion bhaji was ok and was actually a good portion size.

I've ordered from here before and they've been terrific. Food arrived hot and on time. I was a little surprised at opening my front door to find the food on the doormat and the delivery guy already getting back into his car but I suppose this could've been a precautionary measure with talk of Covid doing the rounds again. While the the sauce and the naan were delicious, it appeared the journey here was a little rough as the wrapping around the container was saturated in the sauce and the portion remaining in the container did look a little on the small side. Plus, I was expecting a little more chicken and peppers and not so many onions. So, between one thing and another, while not a disaster, I was a little disappointed.

Been using this place for as long as I can remember, back from when it was Poulton Tandoori, probably 30 years plus. It has been consistently great in all that time. The customer service is another thing that keeps us going back. They know us by name and our "usual" order. If you're looking for a great local gem that's family run and been at the heart of the local community for decades then you won't go wrong with Sweet Chilli. Tracy & Carl x

Poppadoms lovely, chutneys OK but made the mistake of ordering what I thought was saag paneer misspelled as "saag panir" which was unpleasant and definitely not Indian paneer; more like grated cheddar on top of spinach. Dhansak was very mild rather than medium to hot as would be usual. Not great and won't be ordering again.

Food was delivered spot on time, and was piping hot. I like a spicy curry, and I always get the phall from here. It’s always hot 🥵 in the best way. This time around I think the chef noticed I’d ordered my usual and thought “ I’ll teach him ! “ tonight’s phall was made by the devil himself and had me sweating until the last bite. It had a great flavour and I ate the lot. But man ! It’ll be a rough day tomorrow

Poppadoms tasted stale. Very greasy meals. One of the meals had overflown and was all over the bag. Korma was very watery. Unfortunately won't be ordering from here again.

Been using this curry house fir many years had a few disappointing meals but nothing that would stop me using sweet chilli again .Last nights chicken tikka was loaded with salt to a extreme that my wife had one spoon full an that eas was it . The cheif really needs to taste his dishes

Ordered 2 kormas and the curry sauce was that spicy we couldn’t eat the food. We tried as we didn’t want it to go to waste but it tasted awful. They closed right after our order so I think they have used another sauce due to running out of something or not being bothered as this definitely was not korma, not creamy, sweet or made with coconut just really spicy. Spent £29.00 and it all went in the bin. I have requested a refund but would not order from here again. I have used many indian restaurants/ takeaways before and never complained but this meal was definitely not what we ordered. Delivery was estimated as quite a while but didn’t mind waiting because quality is worth waiting for, it arrived on time but in the end waited ages just to be disappointed.

As always lover food. This my go take away Indian. Try most in the area but will stick with sweet chilli. Meals are large, always hot a tasty. The strength stated on menu is accurate so don’t up the heat unless you want it.

Waited over an hour and a half for the food

Telephone order at 17 20,delivery time 1 hrs, 10 mins either way,18 20 phoned back,your next ,18 50 order arrived, not good,the food was lukewarm,so had to be microwaved , not the best of services, on the plus side ,food was amazing, we will use sweet chilli again,my advice, go and pick up,and don't believe the delivery times stated.

Lovely food and have never had a bad experience until today. We had a notification for a second delay and was only calling to see what the problem was as I could have collected if it was a delivery issue only to be met with some horrible customer service. Completely rude and blunt. As I said have never had an issue with this restaurant before and usually collected and are greeted by lovely staff but whoever was on the phone tonight needs to work on customer service skills or maybe don't answer the phone next time.

Our curry delivery of choice ,have used them over twenty years when they used to be called poulton tandoori Have tried others as new places open but none ever compare

The restaurant doesnt deliver until 6pm but it was well worth the wait. Everything was hot, fresh and scrumptious 😋

Food is generally early, always tastes great and run by genuinely lovely people who are always friendly and professional. We have always used sweet chilli since our first time.

Food was lovely but Unfortunately no salad with both starters and was quite annoyed with order before that with no yoghurt an mint with poppadoms so quite annoying if your order isn’t right once u deal with twice not so much!!

Probably the best and most authentic Indian food on the Wirral - Outstanding quality and flavour, Only one recent disappointment from my perspective, the menu seems to have lost the excellent mutaar paneer, which was my favourite side dish, couldn't find it this time round.

Food was piping hot and really high quality. My wife had Rogan Josh which she says was nice with just enough heat for her. I had the chicken Phall, which was a step up in heat from the usual vindaloo ( I like spicy ) really nice !

As someone who comes from an area of the midlands well known for it’s Indian takeaways, restaurants and balti houses, I can say that I’ve found this establishment to be one of only two, (so far), takeaways on Wirral who can make British Asian food to the correct standards. The food always arrives warm, the poppadoms are always fresh and the cooking is top notch. I have only one complaint, hence four stars instead of five: please, please, please stop putting chillis in the baltis! If I want something that strong I’ll order a madras but I like my balti onion based. A great place place though, throughly recommended.

Good quality the absolute worst ever received from an Indian order. Items at best disappointing some inedible. Lamb rogan josh and prawn bhuna both had exactly the same sauce. Mushroom rice rock hard with four tiny slivers of hard mushrooms. Naan bread ok. Popadoms ok. Chips sloppy. Starters greasy and tiny. Main means literally dripping in grease. No answer at restaurant when tried to phone them to complain

another good round of food. chicken sagwala was lovely. Lamb bhuna was favourite again. chicken tikka masala was tasty. starters were good. puri a little soggy, chapati ightly doughy and bhaji gone bit soft instead of being crispy but still good and tasty.
