This is my most favourite gem in Wisbech. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. The food is always fabulous and well priced. The cake is just amazing I’m moving away and wish I could take it with me as I will miss visiting this lovely cafe.

This was my first visit, and I was very impressed! The staff were welcoming and friendly, my sandwich was well filled and tasty, and there was the biggest pot of tea for two I've even seen. My husband had three cups and I had four. The owner told us we could stay as long as we liked, and there were card games and a chess board if we had wanted to linger! Excellent.

This was our first visit to a very local restaurant/tearooms, we had booked in advance and we had a good greeting on arrival, we ordered from the lunch menu and when it arrived both my wife and I found it to be very pleasant. But during our visit at another table a couple had ordered an afternoon tea and wow we in hindsight that’s what we should have had, it looked fantastic.

What an amazing place. Home cooked food instead of usual frozen reheated rubbish that you see at other establishements. The atmosphere was amazing and staff can;t do enough for you. Good protion sizes on the home made cakes too and the Carrot cake is to die for. They even do decaffinated coffee and lattes. This is on our regular to do list as we love it here. They cater for most allergies too which is nice to know. Winter time had a nice open fire which gives it that warm cozy atmosphere that makes you feel that you are at home here.

Came for afternoon tea for a friends baby shower and had a lovely time! Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff couldn’t have been better. I live close to this and have never been, but I’ve definitely been missing out! Will be going back regularly and bringing friends and family, as I’ve always wanted a nice place to eat close and I can’t wait to visit again soon.

This place is a little gem ,always a lovely friendly welcome and will try and accommodate you if there's something you want that isn't exactly what's on menu, nice food and very scrummy cakes but may need a doggy bag as slices of cake are big .

Cannot rate this place highly enough. The owners are always so friendly, going above and beyond to make sure everything is great, and to really personalize the service, remembering minor details about customers lives. Martin is incredibly attentive but never overly so. The food is delicious and as vegetarians they always have more than one option which is hugely appreciated. The soup is very tasty and the cakes are incredible. Wish we could do more to support them! Absolute gem and credit to the village. Fantastic gardens, beautifully decorated too.

Amazing wee cafe, great staff, excellent food. We often pop in for anything from a coffee and homemade cake, to a full meal on one of their special days. The owners are brilliant, and recently catered for my father's Thanksgiving service. They couldn't do enough and the food was perfect. So friendly and great portions too. Highly recommend, even if you're on your own, pop in for a coffee with your book, or a chat with their friendly staff.

We went here for breakfast with family. It's a small independent place with friendly, helpful staff. I had a vegetarian cooked breakfast which was excellent, and everyone else enjoyed their breakfasts. Prices are reasonable and it's got a nice relaxed 'homely' kind of atmosphere. It's also got seating outside for the summer. Sometimes vegetarian options can be a bit underwhelming for breakfasts but that was not the case here, so full marks for making the effort! The cakes looked nice but we didn't order any this time. Overall a very good option for a quick meal or a snack. Would definitely go again.

I have visited Sweet Things Savoury twice now and will definitely return. The cafe/restaurant is spacious and warm, the servers are very friendly and the owners will often pop out and say hello. The portions are generous and there's a great vegetarian range too. There are a variety of milks that are dairy free. The seating area outside is brilliant. Plenty for kids to stay entertained. It's in a quiet area and deserves to be well known. The savoury food is filling and the sweet foods fantastic. We'll definitely be back and we would absolutely recommend this small local business to others. They often run themed nights/days which are very well priced and come with lush food.

From the second we walked past I could tell this place was going to be good. Looking through the window it looked small but don't be fooled there is a middle terrace and an out door area complete with herb garden and flowers. We were just visiting Kings Lynn having never been to Norfolk before we were not sure about where to eat. Being vegan in a new place can be hard but our wandering route took us luckily past this place and we had no choice, we had to go in. Impressed with the artwork we were welcomed in with our dog and sat out the back in the small garden. The guy was cool and friendly and let us know where the local off licence was if we wanted beer (which I did on a releaxed Saturday afternoon). 2 doors down i found some beer and brough it back. Menu was impressive, there was loads to choose from and I could have tried all of it but I went for the Resist! Krispy Chickun Wrap  and was not dissapointed. Generous serving and totally delicious. If I had known in advance I would have tried the primal burger challenge, What an idea. If we had been staying longer I would have gone back for more food. Good to meet other people who care and are doing the right thing. Very delicious, relaxed and fun. If I could give it ten stars I would. Thanks for a great lunch and helping us enjoy our time.

Food was really good and good portions sizes, service was great and the staff was happy. The atmosphere was personal we had a booth and it gave us privacy and not have to worry about other people around. And they do both book in and walk in service.

Afternoon Tea for 2 - you're advised on sitting down that you only get 1 free drink with the Afternoon Tea. Unfortunately the pot of tea came up before the food. So we did end up ordering another pot (£5.50), to finish the food. Would have made a better impression if the tea was free, especially considering the low cost to make. You get 2 rounds of sandwiches, 1 fruit scone with jam/cream and 3 mini sized cakes each. Found the balance of sandwiches to cakes different to other Tea's I've had. Sandwiches were a bit slapdash. Some crusts left on, hardly any cheese in the cheese & caramelised onion. But loads of filling in the coronation chicken. Jam/cream portion just about adequate. Staff were very friendly and we were offered takeaway boxes, which we needed. Would not go for Afternoon Tea again. But might try the cocktails.

They squeezed us in at the last minute politely pointing out that we would only have 90 minutes before the table would be needed again. Very friendly service and food very much to our liking. We ate in the restaurant but the small "bathing hut" pods for two looked fun. I was obviously very impressed as this is by first review for about 10 years.
