Taco Bell in Nottingham

I visited the place today, certainly won't be going back. First off, I nipped into the bathroom to wash my hands, the toilet cubicle was filthy. I then couldn't find a clean table. In fact, the tables were almost as dirty as the floor, which was covered in discarded food. The staff were slouched on the counter, talking to to a bunch of kids who I assume were their mates, while playing with their mobile phones. I left without ordering any food. Awful place, clearly needs a decent manager.

Ordered food for me and my partner and was disappointed hardly any meat on anything food was cold

We went in to order around 10pm where it wasn't very busy, dining area needed a good clean but with the hours it's open you can understand where the mess has come from. Once our order came through we saw staff show another member of staff something by pulling out this silver tray (sure it was the food) and kind of smirk at it making a joke, this did make us feel like there was something wrong with the food, or else why pull it out to show someone and laugh about? When we got the food it mostly tasted okay, it didn't slap as hard as before and the cinnamon twists had a chemically twang to them, unsure if that's from the oil or just that batch. Overall it's okay, could eat there again but not somewhere you'd advocate

La comida pedida cuando estaba lista me tiraron la bolsa sin explicación de qué burrito era cuál... Yo tenía lo mismo que mi Hijo pero el mío tenía crema agria extra en . El tipo desenvolvió ambos y me devolvió burritos. No eran tan calientes para empezar, pero mi Hijo tomó su espalda y los hizo hacer uno más caliente. El servicio era terrible y sin caras sonrientes! El lugar... ¡Sucio! ¡Basura en el suelo! ¡Basura en las mesas! ¡Mesas sucias! Un montón de personal encendido así que no hay excusa que estaban en su mayoría charlando entre sí y amigos que habían llegado. El dispensador de bebidas estaba sucio y había polvo en la parte superior! ¡Realmente desearíamos no haber entrado!

The toilets were very dirty, had no toilet roll, no soap, and the hand dryer didn’t work. They food was standard but not fast or anything above and beyond

i’m shocked that this taco bell has a food hygiene rating of 5.... considering how unhygienic and dirty it is. the tables were messy, with leftover food and used tissues all over them. i usually enjoy taco bell's food, but the lack of attention to cleanliness here makes me hesitant to come back. it’s hard to enjoy a meal knowing it's been prepared in such an unclean environment.

Had an eat in meal at this Taco bell. The seating areas were exceptionally dirty, drinks dispensers were faulty so floors were sticky. The state of the customer area was disgusting. There were enough staff on duty to keep it clean, they just didnt care!

Missing half the order when we got back to our hotel, and food was stuck to the packaging. Clearly staff were not paying attention as they were a bunch of kids chatting. Only one out of 5/6 people wearing gloves too. The restaurant was a mess and it wasn’t even busy when we went. Not as good as America :(

Absolutely disgusting half of our order was missing and the food was dismal. They need lessons in hygiene as well. They were too busy chatting to get our order right. £22 wasted!

Worst Taco and burrito ever , not going in here again

Didn’t even get to order food had a voucher and the staff serving us said to scan it scanner machines were broken and then he refused to take it in person and said to another member of staff “I can’t be bothered right now tell them no”. Went to another Taco Bell and they happily accepted the order. Horrific service. Staff cannot even be bothered. Other Taco Bells are so much better than this restaurant.

They never smile e never say sorry when they give you the wrong food. Bed bed bed. Never more

I’ve ordered a wrap and tacos and to be honest the wrap wasn’t really filled enough I could taste the bread more than the fillings. However, the meat was really good, they just never put enough for the food to be nice. Tacos and so average nothing really special about them.

Not great. It's pretty routine for many of the order machines to be down or not have paper to actually print your ticket. The actual tacos are often very under-filled (not just the meat, but everything). Online orders from here often miss items; I gave up on ever trying to get churros with sauce from here. I've bought drinks inside before, only to find the drink dispensers are just firing plain water; apparently no-one had told them, as the staff were surprised to hear about it. Telling them was hard, actually; the counter is generally empty except for orders being brought out, with all staff in the back too busy to serve customers (hey management, hire more people, too much work for too few people). Staff are polite and friendly when I've interacted with them. The layout doesn't do the store any favours, with queues for food blocking walkways, and queues to order blocking the entrances. It also doesn't _feel_ clean, with tables often having debris on and under them from previous eaters; again, it's a busy location, and there're just not enough staff to really stay on top of things. Look, if you want Taco Bell, this is one. But order in person, check you get what you asked for, and don't be surprised at meager fillings.

First of all the whole place was a mess like if hurricane Katrina went through it . One of the machines didn't work , the second machine the one that we used didn't even print out the receipt.we order a meal for 3 we were missing one of the items and the the portions were straight for a four year old . We ended up still being hungry after it the food was borderline bland and the staff was working with their hair messy and down near our food . Would not come back again . And absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone

I wouldn’t take a dog in there. So, I went in yesterday and spent £28 on food because me and my bf had never been there before and wanted to try a lot of things. First of all the place was dirty not one clean table in sight and service was slow. The music was so loud I was shouting when trying to talk it felt like I was in a club. I upgraded my fries to the loaded ones whatever they’re called, there was just the most pathetic squirt of cheese on there. So my partner took it back politely where the employee (black chubby girl with glasses and long hair) was so rude, refused to take it back and said she was the manager when it was later discovered - she wasn’t. We was prepared to leave it at that but then I ordered a side of rice, put it into my wrap to then find when I bit into it all the rice wasn’t cooked. It was rock solid. It was either that it wasnt cooked or that it had been there since they opened this morning. then when I went up to complain this same girl turned around to the actual manager and said ‘bro now they’re saying the rice isn’t cooked’. So very professional and this is why she will never get anywhere else in life. The actual manager did actually manage the situation and did refund me so I will not complain about her. But I think that girl is just grim and needs to think about if this is the attitude she has that’s probably why she works there. After getting my refund, I continued to eat one of the wraps that didn’t have rice in. I bit into it and it was loaded with sour cream. I asked for no sour cream as I can’t stand the stuff. Good job I don’t have an allergy isn’t it. You’d think it would’ve been labelled different but no.

Went in today for lunch as I've not been in for nearly a year thought I'd treat myself, sticky floors, rubbish across most of the tables and even saw someone (a customer)clearing a table so they had one to use. I had a crunchwrap supreme meal and a beefy nacho griller, the fries that come with the meal were given to me cold, the crunchwrap supreme was half the size it used to be, the beefy nacho griller was basically just a tortilla with table spoon worth of beef thrown in it. To make the experience that much better, this has given me food poisoning

Most tables dirty. Nachos were very poor. Staff were friendly and efficient. But more needs to be done.

I have read many bad things about the treatment of the workers at this location, as well as the cleanliness, but the service is always very fast and it's great to have free drink refills. Answering the online service survey gives a 20% discount which is nice

Went here on the 12th around 1pm the staff was very unprofessional mainly 2 a male (had a tattoo on behind his ear) and female unsure of their names but they was RUNNING around the kitchen like children messing around and the female was even swearing and shouting causing everyone to look as they thought something happened but no she was messing around. Not only that but she was very very rude to a man at the tills when calling his order. SHOULD BE ASHAMED. Training is clearly needed.

I wouldn't go in any 5fs fast food fat feeding factory. But if you like it the place looks ok just be mindful of beggars cyclist cars and motorbikes that seem to be everywhere you walk

The dirtiest place I've ever been

Taco bell, like most fast food, hard to get wrong. Yet somehow, they managed. Floor was sticky and disgusting, there was not a single clean table, staff was just walking in and out, leaving 1 single guy to deal with everything at one point. Food was standard taste, nothing special.

Don’t eat here the staff do not care and just throw the food together and can’t even deal with basic communication. Taco Bell you should employ people who actually want to work who have some energy and politeness and manners.

Food tasted good, staff were ok, but put me in mind they didn't really want to be there. Before we left, I went to the toilets, and I can't even start to describe how disgusting they were. I would never go back here after seeing that sight, and I'm surprised people haven't been ill from going in the toilets!

Food was better than Tortilla. The only downside to thus visit was space at the table we were at, another couple pulled chairs right out in front of us, which made us crammed in the corner.

I ordered the food at the restaurant for take away and they forgot to give me two items worth 10 pounds and t when I went back they just told me they forgot .., it was bad customer experience and worse customer support.

The food was OK, but cleaness is a major issue. You can see dust or dirt everywhere. On the tables, bathroom, floors.

The music was too loud and annoying that I need to speak loud and nearly shout to speak with my wife. Female staff was wearing gloves when preparing the food but fixing her hair (no hairnet), and touches anything in the kitchen which defeats the purpose of wearing gloves. Tables are dirty and the place is dim and depressing.

I like Taco Bell... but this one is probably one I'll avoid in the future due to service. On my last visit, the staff were rude and very unhelpful, and the food was not as good as other chains I have been to!

I talked Taco Bell up to a friend after some great meals at the chain over in the US, but this branch in the UK is a pale imitation I'm afraid. The staff were friendly and efficient, but that's about the only thing going for the place, as the food was mediocre with portion sizes that would have Scrooge himself aghast. I went in with a smile and came out frowning, my perception of Taco Bell tarnished.

Worst service I’ve ever had at a taco bell, staff completely unprofessional. Making themselves dinner over everyone in the shop and the guy wearing the “all eyez on me” tshirt kept running around laughing and touching every counter and his phone in between cooking. Very disappointing

Dirty tables, staff forget your food and don't speak a word to you, most the staff aren't doing anything except one poor woman who was making all the food.

Honestly the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to (outside Victoria centre) staff too busy arguing with homeless people and swearing/ shouting. No interest in the customer whatsoever, got my order wrong constantly, gave me my order without my drink and dip I paid for, went back to then be given the wrong dip (even when I specified which one) Staff look like they haven’t got a clue. Place looked filthy with minimal hygiene going on. Quality of the food for the price does not match. Worst £13 I’ve ever spent. Staff not changing gloves between using the cashier and dealing with food. Absolute nightmare would not recommend to anyone, staff treating it like a hangout with mates rather than a job very confrontational and the use of foul language amazed me. Is this how service is in 2024. Place needs a completely new set of staff

Probably one of the worst eating experiences I have ever had. Fast food at its worst. No sense of caring for the customer at all from the staff. Felt like a MC Donald's but worse. Dirty tables, completely lacking in any sort of atmosphere or ambiance. All in all a very negative and depressing experience. I would have given it 0 if I had been able to it was that bad. A complete and utter disgrace. A place that should be shut down.

Appalling service. Staff are really mardy and unhelpful. Ordered a cheese quesadilla that didnt say it contained chicken and I'm vegetarian. When I asked if this could be swapped they said yes then left me standing there for 20 minutes whilst this guy was screaming at these two girls and nobody intervened. They then finally told me they wouldnt give me food for free and I would have to pay more. Manager and staff had major attitude issues.

Was at the wrong TB so went to Angel Row.So comment really applies to Angel Row Taco Bell. Quesadillas virtually no meat or cheese only the tortillas were good (crispy) . Others (8 people) who had different foods expressed disappointment. Service slow. Wouldn't recommend if wanting fast food prior to Theatre Royal show.

Careful with a size because images are very different from really. Choose two burritos and was frustrated because thought they will be the same size as the picture. Liars

Taco bell continues to limit the vegetarian / red meat free options. Fries are awful, food often arrives soggy and cold. Usually not a long wait but I have never enjoyed a meal from here and I have stopped going.

I have eaten at tacobell many times and enjoyed it. But today I was refused tap water twice, and was asked to pay 1.99 if i wanted it. They have a dedicated water and ice machine and could even watch me pour water but they still said no. Ive never been refused free tap water before and Im pretty sure its not allowed either. Im not going to tacobell again literally for this reason alone.

Kids love it. I didn't eat, but they said it was delicious. It's messy and busy, but okay for quick stop off for food. The ordering machines were all out of order when we were there, but friendly staff took the order, they were clearly run off their feet, so took a while, but they did their best.

If this could have minus stars it would have! Please avoid. I wish I had listened to my gut and walked out of here when I witnessed staff preparing food with gloves that they were also handling money with, the tables and floors were filthy, the food quality was terrible. We ordered two of the boxes which contained beef and chicken and I believe these were not heated sufficiently, and a few hours later we had food poisoning. Never in my 30 years have I had this. Both violently sick for a day from this place. It’s obvious there is no hygiene standards here and I don’t want anyone to go through what we have been through. I have been in direct contact with Taco Bell and I am awaiting a response. We took pictures whilst there as we had concerns but we never knew it would lead to food poisoning. Absolutely disgusting, please stay away!

According to google this place is meant to be open until 4am on a Saturday, turned up at about 3:20 and told by a bouncer that management have closed it. Absolute nonsense, don't advertise an opening time and then shut 40 mins earlier. Incompetent staff who clearly can't cope. Needs to be sorted

1 star is being generous, appalled experience from start to finish. Placed our order through the self service machine and the receipt roll ran out, told them behind the counter who just looked straight through me and passed it off (god job I remembered my order number) Our £20 Food order came, opened my taco to be met with a taco full of lettuce and no meat, took it back and explained there was no filling, again they looked straight through me shoved another taco into my hand - that was no better so thought what’s the point of moaning again. The place was full of rubbish and no one seemed to want to clean up. Will 100% NOT be going back to Victoria centre Taco Bell 😤

Food was cheap, tasty, filling and not that unhealthy either (450 cals in my burrito).

The service is great! The guy who served me was amazing so friendly and nice. The manager was grumpy. I asked for a cup for some water and she got quite grumpy at me. The water tasted really bad tho anyway so it wasnt a big deal. The food is great as always. Thanks to the great guy at taco bell nottingham!

Just visited the place, there were no clean tables and the floor was dirty. The staff seemed to be working as slowly as they possible could get away with. Noticed a Manager but they were only interested in emptying the cash till and not actually managing the staff or seeing if the customers were happy. I shall certainly not be returning.

The food is awful. Sloppy and flavourless. The chips were a soggy almost stale mess. For the price I wish I had gone to Tortilla a few doors away and saved money. One and only time I will be eating there. Complete waste of money.

Wrong order then when going home the so called manager hung up on me- What a joke - thats why you have four customers in your restaurant at peak time. I want my refund my dog didn't even want the your food.
