Excellent food, service , ambience etc etc. Visited early on a Monday night and place was busy. Lovely feel to restaurant. Service excellent. Menu is extensive and a sheet of specials. It was a difficult choice. I had carrpacio which was delicious and my husband had Melanza also great. Perfect wait till mains came and we both chose Rigatoni one with tomato & aubergine and one with Spinach & sausage Two glasses of pinot grigio and a soft drink and Cappuccino was £86. Will definitely revisit if I'm the area.

It was very nice and the food was so delicious and the people were very nice and the service was perfect with all the food cooked well.

Not for me. Very loud. Food was ok but we waited a long time for our food which we had preordered as a large group. Restaurant was very busy but this was a long wait.

Disappointed, do not order the tagliatelle porcini!! We went here with a group of friends recently, having previously visited the Sherborne branch a couple of times and enjoying it. Initially they were great and accommodated us as a large group, with a nice atmosphere. We had our starters and the cheesy garlic bread is fantastic but the wine comes in a plastic bag filled with ice (??). The reason for the one star is just over an hour after eating my meal, I became very sick and projectile vomited everywhere - I'd never been this sick in my life. Everything else was nice but given I was the only one to order this and the only one to be sick in my group I'd recommend staying away from the Porcini!!

Came for food with work colleagues, everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices seemed reasonable. If I am back in Yeovil for work I would eat here again

ANYONE WITH NUT OR EGG ALLERGIES, PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN EATING HERE. We ordered a spaghetti bolognese for our child. Despite warning management in advance of allergies, within minutes of eating his pasta, he had strong allergic reactions(drowsiness, itchy lips, sore throat, stomach pain, nausea, and throwing up four times). As management assured us that the ingredients did not include any allergens, we can only assume that the kitchen made a huge mistake with a severe health and safety implications.

Lovely atmosphere, great staff, always attentive to needs of customers and suggest alternatives if needed.

Too noisy, food reasonably good, difficult to get waiters' attention after main course. Understaffed for the number of customers on this occasion.

Great for a vegan, gluten free relative. For a lactose free customer, such as myself, I had the best Rusticana Pizza ever!

Magnificently friendly staff throughout the meal, everyone who came to our table was a delight, engaging and a pleasure to speak with. The food was something else, beyond delicious, every member of the family was pleased with their choices. We were so impressed we asked for and the chefs were more than happy to share one of their super tasty recipes for us to take home. A definite visit again

The food and service never disappoint! I’ve been here for dates, birthdays and works dos and it is always a lovely atmosphere and friendly people. The quality of food and service is impeccable and you can’t really go wrong. There’s lots to choose from on the menu for food and drink and all authentic. There is no doubt that I’ll be back many more times!

They have the wrong waiter workin there so if ur abt to go and eat there i suggest go eat home i regret going there , never going to step there again

An amazing dinner ( once again) this time we’ve try their special, omg so fresh, so tasty just perfect for our well deserved date night. Their fish/ sea food is literally served from the sea, presented for us to see. We will be back soon.

I had dinner at Tamborino in Yeovil alone. The food was stunning. The service was amazing. TBH if I had paid double the price for the food I had, it would still be worth every pehnny. The service was fantastic. Good food always costs,but Tamboorino is great value for money. I can't recommend Tamborino in Yeovil highly enough. Fantastic food, great menu, amazing serice.

This is one of those genuine 'proper' Italian family restaurants. Lovely people, really good food with a richness of flavour you only get when love and care go into the pan. Do expect to share your food, and you will be trying a bit of everyone's dishes as that's the true Italian dining experience.

Came in with my mum and baby daughter the lady with blonde hair who served us was fantastic smiley happy atmosphere she was utterly brilliant didnt catch her name but she was a star !

First time visiting Yeovil and we stumbled across this restaurant. It was so authentic and homely that I forgot I wasn't on holiday a number of times.

One of the best restaurant in Yeovil and one of the better Italian restaurants I have visited. Amazing traditional tasty food which I easily visit weekly for my trips here. Great service reasonably priced nothing not to like here it's really good.

The issue was the service. The waiter (very tall chap) was more concerned with his friends on the table behind us than actually serving us. He was shouting over us to them, joking, and ignoring us. The food order was incorrect. Items were missed and when we were told “you pizza will be a few seconds” it was actually more like 15 mins. Everyone else was eating. The service charge of £30 was to me a bit steep considering we had to ask to have our orders to be taken, extra drinks and even to have the bill paid…and the place wasn’t busy. As I say, more interested in his friends than us.

Been coming here for a few years now and always well looked after! Just had my daughter’s 8th birthday and wow they made it special! Cannot think of a better place in Yeovil, Thank you all

Attended previously & enjoyed the quality of the food. Organised a large leaving doo last week & feedback from most that food quality/taste was poor, service of food very slow( pre- ordered ). Waiters looked preasured, restaurant very packed & busy.

The very tall bloke took very little interest in me on arrival. male 59 alone as he showed me to my seat. That's to be expected and not a negative. The Penne Dolce Vita I ate was the most amazing pasta dish that l have ever eaten. The balance of flavours was truly exquisite, I can't express it any further. Alessandro [Chef on my visit] absolutely deserves huge plaudits. In comparison the ground staff were abrupt, indifferent, almost snatching my empty plate before me (room for improvement). I will revisit here often when sent with work.

Ordered food for collection in Sherborne. Order went thru yeovil. To far to collect. No tea.

This place has an incredible atmosphere with amazing food. The staff are always available. We were here on an extremely busy night. However, we were never left waiting.

I was recommended to go here, as Italian is my favourite cuisine. I was quickly welcomed and seated. The place is beautiful and it doesn't feel like a generic restaurant, It has its own personality to it. I felt very comfortable there. The food I ordered came very very quick.

We went to Tamburinos Yeovil for dinner on new year's eve 2023, what a wonderful evening. It was a fixed price menu, four courses and a glass of prosecco. They had live music and fireworks, the staff were great, lovely atmosphere and, all in all, a great way to see in the new year. Food was excellent, we will definitely be back

I love it here it’s by far the best Italian I have ever been to been coming with my family for years since I was 7 or 8 and now going with my girlfriend still over 11 years later whenever we get the chance , the staff are very kind and the food is amazing I couldn’t recommend the tutta carne pizza enough it’s the best pizza I have ever had it’s a fair price aswell where I had a starter and we had 2 mains and a lot of drinks

Delicious food and outstanding service, never any less of a 5 star experience on every visit. Usually opt for pasta dishes but tried the steak for the first time and it was so soft and flavourful, would recommend again and again

Some good atmosphere at times, the food was avarage but what let it down for me was witnessing the front of house being abusive to the staff.

Celebrated a friends 91st birthday here. The food and the service were brilliant. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday whilst he blew out his candles. Made his day 😁 thank you so so much ❤️

Most staff friendly, food came out quick and was delicious. Reasonably priced. I've been before on a weekend night and was fairly busy and loud so call to book or enquire night depending!

My husband and I are only in Yeovil for a few days and actually saw this restaurant on our way to somewhere else last night. We are both so glad we came here instead. The food looked, smelt and tasted delicious. It was early evening so still quite inside but it still had a really lovely atmosphere. The staff, especially our waiter was polite and very accommodating. We would absolutely recommend Tamburino to everybody. Thank you Tamburino. Perfecto!!

Dinner for one. Caprese salad and seafood pizza, glass of wine and ab espresso to finish £32. Good genuine food that stands alone in Yeovil with it's offering. Love this place
