Tandoori Villa is just brilliant. The staff are always cordial and accommodating and the food is excellent without any pretentiousness. The reviews that call it a local ‘gem’ are to the point. Tandoori Villa is a jewel in Ealing’s crown.

Staff are extremely rude. Especially the owner. Would explain why the place is always empty. Avoid.

Just found this place, quite tucked away but great curry and it looks like no corkage fee on BYOB as well which is good to know. We got a takeaway but might eat in next time.

I fancied a lockdown curry and tandoori villa certainly delivered. Excellent food that really hit the spot! Chicken tikka spiced up to madras level with aloo gobi, rice and peshwari naan😋 The wife had tandoori king prawn which she loved. The best ruby takeout we’ve had for a long time. Support local small businesses and get ordering all you Ealing dwellers!

Being in lockdown is hard enough but takeaways are not congratulated enough. We had a long wait time but the food was excellent and great service.

I know it's highly rated, but did anyone bother to visit the Food Standards agency website! they scored a 1 out of 5 in March 2019. No wonder it had that little extra kick ey?

Come here, it’s proper lush. Don’t worry about the decor or the environment, it’s all about the food, and that is 10/10 every time. Try it - you will not be disappointed. And being your own wine!

We visited on December 29th, and had a chicken vindaloo, and garlic chicken. This place hasn’t changed much since my first visit in 1995 or thereabouts. It may seem like you’re sitting in someone’s front room, but you won’t regret it. The prices and quality of food are outstanding for London. Come here, bring your own beer, and enjoy it!

Very good food! Thats just about much of what I can say. Great taste in their tadka dhal and paratha. Lovely aloo gobi and lamb madras, just great. Wouldn't rate it as well as Lentil however they're up in the rankings as one of my favourites. It is fairly small but very cozy and very attentive service by the staff..

Don't be put off by appearances this place is an absolute gem. Great menu all freshly prepared. All the old favourites and an extensive fish menu. Reasonably priced. The only thing is if you want beer or wine it's bring your own

This was recommended by our daughter and her friends. The food was overall excellent, very flavourful and just the right spices for the Madras without taking your mouth off. The only downside is the paper tablecloth and paper napkins. We'll be back.

We've been coming here with friends for many years. At best, the food is great; at worst, just OK. For a post-pub curry with a bottle or two from Cargill's off-licence round the corner; or a cheap take-away, Ealing is very lucky to have this still-surviving, quirky little Indian restaurant.

I have eaten here for 25 years and more. I still get takeaways even though we have moved away because the food is so good. You can bring your own wine, which keeps the cost down.

Me encanta!

This a local Indian restaurant tucked away in an Ealing side street. It’s almost like eating in somebody’s front room. The cooking is good, the flavours are distinctive and all very tasty. It’s not licensed so you take your own booze. And they do a lot of takeaway. (NB. The Tripadvisor map seems to show this place in Willesdon. I'ts in Ealing. )

This place is the ultimate Indian in South Ealing. It may not look like much from the outside, but we gave this place a chance due to seeing all the crowds out the front on the weekends and we have never looked back. Always consistent food, nice staff, byo alcohol, what more could you ask for! Definitely recommend!

I feel compelled to upload a review after living in Ealing for many years and recently moving to Surrey where I still have not been able to find a decent curry house!I have eaten at TV many many times over the years, taking numerous friends and family, and even freezing one to take back to my Dad in Bristol! The actual place is like someone's front room and it's BYOB. Personally think it's a great setting. The staff aren't your typical over attentive annoying curry house place, straightforward, no messing and it's all about the food - exactly how it should be. The curry is superb!! It's spicy, it's full of flavour, it's hot, it's amazingly cooked. I always have a chicken tika Pathia and it's just brilliant. I miss TV and whenever visiting friends who still live in Ealing I insist on a curry and really look forward to it. Can't recommend enough!!

Last time I reviewed this place in August, I commented on the mildness of the vindaloo. They say you should be careful what you wish for, which I wasn't this time when I allowed my supposed mate to order for me, and he asked for phall strength, extra hot ! Boy, did I pay the price for my wish... Nevertheless, the food was generally good, and I have been back again since and enjoyed a more temperate meal. And a policy of bring your own alchohol allows you to drink decent wine at a fraction of the usual restaurant price. Good service, and a very pleasant atmosphere when busy, which it often is.

Cozy setting, standard menu arrived slowly, but once the order is given the food comes remarkably quickly. The quality is fine, and the tarka dal (lentils with garlic - not, as my friend says, "like tikka but a little 'otter" !) was very good. The vindaloo was pleasant, but not really more than madras strength, not one bead of sweat on my forehead. They were busy so the proprietor and his assistant weren't stopping to chat, but by the end of the meal we were laughing and joking with both them and the adjacent table. BYO makes it seem excellent value. TST wine merchants on nearby St Mary's Road provides a good range.

Aromatic authentic Indian cuisine couldnt rate higher food or service the tastiest curries in Derbyshire Having being privileged enough to taste home cooked authentic Indian previously once upon a time -i have never found a restaurant or takeaway that could live upto that hence avoid Usual takeaways laden with grease or cooked fast from a basic sauce then altered or quick sauces without slowly tenderising the meat has been my experience elsewhere The food at Aroma lounge most definitely is not just a quick curry it is made beautifully with care and the only place i would trust for authentic Indian food made with care and exquisite knowledge tender meat rich tasty curries not just far above average but beyond evident in every delicious mouthful Lamb saag/gosht the winner everytime A personal favourite if in the area worth the drive anywhere in the locality which is a treasure in Derbyshire plus the owners staff and delivery drivers are second to none - they go the extra mile with customer care adhering to personal tastes and truly care about what they do Couldnt rate higher As a woman on her own lovely to feel confident in their respectful delivery drivers and service Thankyou again Aroma
