Taste in Ashfield

Came here today for breakfast, on the Internet was meant to be open, I drove for 20 minutes for food for the guys at work to find was closed

I went to taste this morning to buy a sausage egg & Bacon egg cobs,,,,, I’d like to point out I’ve been to this cob shop many times over the past and enjoyed the food, unfortunately on this occasion I stood waiting for my order while the girl preparing my food started to cough & splutter, I’m not fussy but this was bad, she continued coughing & preparing my order, I thought to myself what a waste of £7 as there is no way I’m eating the cobs, I would have mentioned something but there was a few people waiting,,, I left and told my daughter what had happened, she should have stopped gone and washed her hands and started again. We binned them and ended up in McDonald’s Sutton, shame

I was served by the friendliest person in the universe this morning, What a positive happy way to start your day. The breakfast cob was top tier too. My first time here and won't be my last. It's got to be a solid 10 out of 10 for outstanding excellence.

Always a good service and perfect food high-quality service

Popped in as the cafe at local training centre nearby was closed. Jacket potatoes with chilli were lovely. Couple seats inside, so we ate in. Outstanding friendliness and high level of customer service from staff what a rarity, they even offered me a brolly when i needed to pop outside in the rain.

The ladies that served us today, we're so bubbly and friendly. The cobs were delicious and prices were more than fair.

I just dropped in today as I walked past . Very clean and tidy was my first impression. The staff was super polite and friendly with all that came through the door ., We need more little cafes like this one .. food smelt great :-) only had a cuppa tea this time but I’ll be back for food :-) Thank you for letting me sit in Clive x

Always friendly, and good "fry up" menu when you fancy that bacon sarnie. Other items available quite extensive too, and delivery!! I would only ask they stay open longer on a saturday ... ... ... ...

sweet chilli chicken is lovely .. only one thing I've found the beacon is horrible here all Fat and Ruins the breakfast tried coupple times and same experience other wise Amazing Cobs :)

Dissapointed to say the least after my last few visits. Sausages are like cardboard & bacon is mostly fat. On the upside service isn't too shabby.
