Taste of China in West Lothian

Hogmanay and I ordered my favourite takeaway. It was delivered in 11 minutes. That is outstanding service. I will always recommend Taste of China to anyone that asks. Great work. Happy new year.

Never had a bad meal from here. Everything ive tried has been delivered hot and tasty within 45 mins. Highly recommended.

If you ever go here, get a savoury dish. I got a sweet dish and they must have put half a bag of sugar, in it. So much, it set my teeth on edge.

Unfortunately I ordered here this evening (7 September) and the fried rice was soggy. I’ve never had that experience in any restaurant before . We had to throw it away.

Picked up my order great customer service but terrible quality of food chicken was extremely jelly and under cooked , wouldn’t feed to my dogs if I had any , do No recommend this place at all!

I Never really go here for food but the barbecue sauce is fantastic and the lady at the front desk is always nice

This is a takeaway or delivery service it would appear most people phone in their orders and it is prepared for them to collect I took a chance and went In for takeaway And excellent updated method of ordering and a pleasant female taking orders She just keyed in number requested and made any alterations if necessary The bill was exactly to the penny Well done TASTE OF CHINA

Ordered chicken chopsuey and beef red curry. When I received it and check it’s all wrong. They send (Chicken with bean sprout and bamboo shoots and Beef green curry) the lady who is answering the phone should listened carefully what the customers orders! Being Asian I know EXACTLY what CHICKEN CHOPSUEY LOOKS LIKE! Plus this place don’t accept cards for payments!!!

First time I have tried it and the food was good. Person who served me was friendly and helpful. Only downside to it is it cash only. Otherwise I will be back

Fantastic place for yummy food 🥘 I have had a chest infection for weeks abs this is the place that gets my tastes going . Staff are nice and so is delivery drivers . Highly recommend this Chinese 10/10

I have been a customer here for many years now. I have always had a great meal. The portion size is bigger and better than the competition by far. Cheaper too.

Use Taste of China in Armadale at least twice a week travel from Bathgate Top class food always piping hot service is fantastic and never need to wait to long Great service .

Food was adequate, portion sizes were good. If you don't like crunchy onions ask for without.

Myself & friend had to dishes. It was like they had poured a bag of sugar in it. Beyond sweet. Ruined it. Was not impressed. Would not, use again. This is not the first time but will, be our last.

Had a very nice meal delivered fast & efficiency last night to Muir Rd Bathgate .

Really sorry to say this,just got beef curry and fried rice,it was the most awful I've tasted,the fried rice tasted over done and the beef was stringy,my partner got chicken curry and chips and that was ok.

Stopped using after Xmas Eve 2019 as messed up one of the orders and chicken curry went in the bin as it was bland and too runnny.........gave them another chance tonight 6th June 2020 and same again......got 2 rice instead of rice & chips and curry was bland and runny......will never go back !....PF armadale

Takeways are reasonable and they give home deliveries into the bargain!

Gone downhill last few years, was exellent 10+ years ago- food too salty. Msg?

We have been loyal clients for years!! But today was last time we ordered food! Lady on the phone just lied (!!) to us, that they dont have chicken nuggets, (we always ordered them) and told us that we need to buy a kids meal. Ok, we bought kids meal and we got 2!!!! chicken nuggets, 2 small sausages and one chicken wing! Wonton soup was so full of fat it was disgusting. Chow mein was tasteless....better pay 2.50 for delivery from Golden Wok in Bathgate than order food from this shop again!

Value for money and decent food

Under average food but the mannerism of the woman who usually answers the phone is simply awful. Avoid!

Ordered on a Thursday, called 1 hour and 20 minutes later to see where the delivery was. Was told they were waiting on a driver and that it would be with us shortly. Phoned 25 minutes later, still no delivery. Was told the driver had just left and it would be with us soon then was hung up on. No apologies. We have been loyal customers for years, extremely disappointed with the service. Can appreciate if there is a shortage of staff but it's always better to be honest with your customers and apologise for delay. If the girl on the phone had given me an apology for it I wouldn't be writing this review.

Great food and nice big portion sizes.

Food lolvey but sometimes the staff taking order over the phone need to speak slower especially the Chineese staff

Horrible!!! that's all I'm saying...

Poor service. After 1.5 hours and numerous phone calls waiting on delivery we cancelled the order. We had been loyal customers since they opened and they could not have cared less that we had waited so long. We will not be back and would not recommend it.

Not bad reasonable price and quality

Two thirds of my takeaway cointainers were filled with sprouts and onions and my meat dishes only had 8 small slices. It was pretty bland and I was really disappointed

Outrageous. This is the first time we used them and we waited 2 hours for a delivery to Armadale!! I called 4 times in the end and had to embarrass an apology out of her. Food is cold and we're not happy at all. The order wasn't even complete and had to flag down the delivery driver. Raging doesn't begin to describe my feelings right now. 0 stars for me.

Rubbish!!!! Ordered and over 1.5 hours no show. Phoned repeatedly and still no delivery. Go somewhere else. I'd give no stars if I could.

Hit and miss - some of the food is amazing, but some is not good. Highly recommended the salt & pepper ribs, chow mein noodle dishes and sesame chicken. Would not advise any of the plum sauce dishes or the crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce. When there was a problem with our order recently, customer service was disappointing. We have always ordered from here though and for the most part have enjoyed it.
