A great place to enjoy a Saturday lunch. The food is absolutely delicious, and we loved every single dish we ordered. The coffee was excellent. service was slightly slow for both food and drinks, but the quality was not compromised.

From the moment I walked in I was greated. Me and the guy working there had a brilliant conversation about my voice and doing voice overs, was pretty funny 😁 . They went above and beyond for my friend who's in hospital and needed a really tasty breakfast. My friend absolutely loved it and ate the lot. She has said she will be back in the cafe to try some other dishes when she's well.

A lovely cafe with friendly and professional service. I am a vegetarian and was amazed that they cater to vegetarian and vegans. The food is delicious and tastes so fresh. We had the pleasure of speaking to the owner who was very inviting and polite. The business decor is modest and cosy. If you want somewhere that caters to many dietary needs and is cosy then I highly recommend this place. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

We have been here 3 times now for brunch (we visit each time we visit our daughter who lives nearby) and honestly it is the best place to go for brunch in the whole country! The food and drinks are soooo tasty, and the staff are just so lovely. My daughter is vegetarian and there is lots of choice for her on the menu. We will never go anywhere else!

My first time experiencing Tasteology was through Uber eats. I ordered the pistachio french toast (amazing!!!) and the turkey egg sandwich. After that I ordered in person for collection. It's usually busy, so not many chances to sit but, during the day at about 10/11, usually helps with that. I've enjoyed a plate of Alfredo outside in July and most recently ate inside for breakfast with my child which has a cozy and relaxed feel. Next visit I want to try a milkshake and chicken wrap.

One of the top breakfast spots in Birmingham, would definitely recommend it! The English breakfast was excellent and I loved the cappuccino 😋 The service was really good too, very efficient. And the owner is a really nice guy.

Found this place on google we wanted breakfast so came here today with my girlfriend food was alright but the place was freezing it was like eating outside won't come here again and tip of advise no customer wants to come into a cold place this explains why you was empty..

Absolutely a must try breakfast restaurant(Halal options). The staff are very friendly, the food is dam good yummy. I have tried different things: the traditional english breakfast, the upgraded Shakshouka and the eggs& chees bun. All of them were really yummy. My advice is : do not stick to the traditional English breakfast but try different things from the menu. The atmosphere is great, the decorations are unique and modern. The music was lovely. Be careful: it becomes very crowded on Weekends so make sure to arrive early.

The royal breakfast was much better than the Shakshouka. The coffee was normal, nothing too worthy to note. The person at the cashdesk taking orders was cheerful and fun to have a conversation with. Unfortunately, someone scratched my parked car with a key or a sharp object outside this place, and we could do nothing about it. So, one tip to customers would be to park somewhere you can see the car from the shop or off road. I'd not park outside the convenience store again.

Took my partner for a birthday breakfast, and it was our first time visiting. Wonderful breakfast and lovely place. Clean and welcoming. My partner had the Royal Breakfast and polished it off! He particularly liked the sausages (made onside!) I had poached eggs which were perfect 👌🏾.I would recommend here for breakfast/brunch meets. There isn't a lot of parking available so just be aware of that.

The food was delicious but what stood out was the friendliness of the staff, the staff came out to speak to my daughter and made a fuss of her which we appreciated. The pistachio latte is delicious

We had a fantastic breakfast experience with my wife at this cozy spot this Saturday. From the moment we walked in, the owner welcomed us with a warm smile, a friendly handshake, and genuine conversation, which really set the tone for our visit. We started with the Pistachio Latte's, which were beautifully presented, topped with whipped cream and garnished with what seemed like a sprinkle of nuts — visually appealing and quite delicious! Moving on to the breakfast plates — they were hearty and impressive. The variety was great, offering everything from hummus and smashed avocado to poached eggs and well-seasoned (homemade!) sausages. The veggie sausages my wife had were also delicious although I'm a meat lover. The sourdough bread was toasted to perfection, and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ambiance was comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The owner’s hospitality made us feel truly welcome, and it added a personal touch to the whole experience. We left satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and warm service!

We visited Tasteology on Friday for the first time and it was a lovely experience. The staff are very friendly and have a lot of pride in what they are doing, the food is amazing! And it has a lovely atmosphere with nice relaxing music and a chilled vibe. This is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning very soon!

Had a delicious breakfast this morning at Tasteology. It's nice to find a place that is providing a high quality breakfast which is very reasonably priced. The best thing about the Royal breakfast that I ordered was ALL the elements were made incredibly well; I couldn't fault it any way. Service was wonderful. One final point is that this place is so clean which makes for a very comfortable dining experience. I look forward to returning.

Tasteology has proven that it is one of the best halal brunches in Birmingham if it is not the best due to the variety and the selection of dishes they provide regardless the excellent service. The coffee is amazing and the drinks are wonderful starting from the fresh juices,healthy smoothies to the tasty milkshakes. Looking forward to see this place in different locations.

Tasteology Birmingham is an absolute gem! The atmosphere from when you walk in is a very cozy and an inviting setting. The staff are superb, Al Hajj the brother who served me and my friend was extremely kind and attentive. The food speaks for itself as it was extremely delicious and full of flavour, I went with the quantum burger, tasteology, pasta and the cookie dough drink which all of these were made fresh and the best ingredients. This is definitely a 5/5 experience, you won’t regret it!

I visit this place daily for my first coffee of the day, there's no coffee like it. Haj and Mohammed are the best. Today I went in for a breakfast but then saw they have something new on the menu, vegetarian quiche, so I decided to give it a try. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious. Drink took longer than food I requested it before my food. The burger thing looked amazing but was absolutely vile wasted trip and money

First of all, there were many people eating. I wanted to eat shakshuka, but since I was late, I had the Black Hole burger and Date Night smoothie. There really is no need to talk much. It was the best burger of my life. I try franchise hamburgers often enough to try them every time a new product comes out, but here, ‘we are different from common franchises’ and the taste proves the difference. The chef even came out to ask if the food was okay, and his manners towards older guests were also exceptional. It's the perfect meal for the best meal in the UK.

Nestled in the back streets with ample parking available on the side street, this place is a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely and friendly man behind the counter. The chef was equally friendly and made some fantastic recommendations. The breakfast menu is straightforward, featuring a variety of top-notch, freshly cooked items that are bursting with flavour. We ordered quite a few dishes to sample everything, and each one was just great. The quality of the food and the friendly service truly stood out. I highly recommend Tasteology for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast experience.

I had heard about this place from a few people and whilst I don’t live too far away I thought it was time for me to check it out. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome and sat down right away which is always a bonus. The menu has a variety of options and I was spoilt for choice. I always like to try different things but went for a Full English breakfast with the kids opting for a breakfast wrap each. To drink , we had a cappuccino, mocha and a Ferraroshake. Having placed and paid for my order, I then spotted the French Toast which looked amazing and had to place an order for this as well. The place was busy and the food arrived after 20 minutes which was expected. The presentation was excellent and the taste was sublime. The kids enjoyed the breakfast wrap and the full English tasted on point. I have a sweet tooth and the French toast did not disappoint. The bread was soaked in maple syrup and topped with fruit with a Nutella drizzle. The icing on the cake was the lovely vanilla ice cream scoop which brought it altogether. It was so good that everyone had to have a taste which was expected but next time I won’t be sharing!! All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. The owner came out and said hello which was a nice touch. I highly recommend that people try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Immaculately clean cafe with polite and efficient service. Perfect coffee Separately and deliciously cooked poached eggs in a very tasty but loose ratatouille. Totally lacking garlic, reduced tomatoes ( can would suufice ), cumin , sweet paprika, chilli, fresh coriander and underseasoned but salt and pepper on table. Certainly not authentic Shakshouka with oven baked eggs.

Fabulous quality food in a cafe setting that the larger chains can only dream of. If you are a chocolate connoisseur and enjoy milkshakes then our favourite is the Ferrerroshake milkshake. I did enjoy the taste and food related quotes and infographics.

This is an incredibly special place for Birmingham. Located a few minutes from the QE and approx. 15 mins from the city centre, it’s the Gem of Harborne with plenty of available parking and access to the Coffee Shop. The French toast and Royal Breakfast are Ace! Highly recommend trying one of their milkshakes/ fresh Juices! We are greeted with a smile and served a quality brunch on every occasion. Family friendly Space and Hajji looks after everyone!

Amazing food, we finally visited in person and we absolutely loved it. Food is just top tier. The owner was incredibly welcoming and also the interior is amazing. We will definitely be back and recommend this as an excellent option for a vegan brunch and Iced coffee!

As a former employee i previously worked here for almost a year, while i was in employment at Tasteology one of the most important things to the business was ensuring customers were content with the quality of the food. Having left on bad terms… i still didn’t have an issue with supporting the small business, i had come in once with my partner and we were declined service because it was “too busy”, as i’ve said previously, having worked there i’ve seen first hand how “busy” the place can get and know that 4 tickets and 1 in house customer is not “busy” however i brushed off the childish behaviour of not serving an ex employee and we went somewhere else.. Having said that and due to previous experience of being declined service in house we decided to order via uber eats, now i’m unsure if it was a genuine mistake or if it was done intentionally, the food came raw and incorrect, i did message the owner privately to address the issue and save the public humiliation and i received no response however for the interest of other customers i wouldn’t see it fit for anyone to order tasteology online as they clearly don’t value the safety and quality of the food they send out to people when their faces are hidden, it was impossible to eat the raw food and we didn’t even receive the correct order (smoked salmon and egg brioche)… really poor and disgusting from a place i previously respected for its ability to maintain the quality in their food, however i didn’t know that once i left, raw meat would be served. foods all frozen anyways so i don’t understand why it’s so hard to make correctly 🤡 if you’ve been told it’s “fresh” you’re being sold dreams. Check your food if you order online or come into tasteology …

My favourite thing on the menu at the moment is the MC² Burger and the Mediterranean toast. I'm working my way through the menu 😋😅. Cant praise the staff enough for making me feel welcome. I'll be back soon with my family.

While the kids were at school on one fine morning, we decided to go for breakfast. A quick Google search for a halal breakfast place near our area, and we opted for this place, and it was the best decision we made. We loved it so much that we had to take the children over the weekend for brunch. First time round we had a full English breakfast and shakshuka. Hubby loved his full English. However, I was not keen on my choice. Had some macarons, which were lush. The second time round we took kids and had french toast for kids and three breakfast wraps for hubby and older two kids. I had the Mediterranean toast, and man it was the best with sour dough and avocado, fried eggs and salad. The kids had hot chocolate and we had tea. My older son had a spiced chai latte which was absolutely beautiful and my older daughter had an iced latte. Everything was 10/10. Prices were decent, and the food was high quality, and the quantity was just right. The hospitality and warm welcome will definitely bring us there again soon.

I have been coming here since it has opened. The owner is super friendly and the food is amazing and very unique compared to other brunch spots. You can tell a lot of passion and effort when into crafting the menu and recipes. On mornings I usually go for the the Royal Breakfast, which is loaded with delicious foods like guacamole and hummus, and arabic sausages. The mushrooms and tomatoes are super yummy as well. For afternoon lunch I usually go for the chef’s special pasta which is tasty and the serving size is generous. I’m usually spoilt for choice every time I come here. I highly recommend!

I came here for the first time a few days ago, the menu was diverse with many attractive options. Luckily the owner was super accommodating and helpful, he suggest I try the “upgraded shakshuka”, which comes with marguez sausages and poached eggs, and sourdough bread. Whilst I waited for my meal to arrive, I ordered a flat white. The beans were freshly ground and the coffee itself was made perfectly. Definitely one of my favourites. My food arrived, and it looked amazing; it’s refreshing to see the chef care about the presentation. The shakshuka itself was amazing, well seasoned and tasty, the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausages were out of this world. We left this place extremely satisfied and I plan on coming here again the next time I’m in Birmingham. Kudos to the staff and owner.
