Tasty in Tendring

Food was very 🔥 meaning perfect temperature cooked through, the staff very warm welcoming and while I was waiting the staff spoke to me nicely and had nice chit chat while I was waiting dor my order. Best in harwich town I say and food is freshly prepared I mean pictures says it all for you that reading. Never met a takeaway shop that does it there traditional way! I can't wait to go back

The lady taking my order was a sweetheart so it’s very unfortunate that I can’t share a better review. However, what they have as ‘roast chicken Chinese style’ is quite different from any I’ve ever had in the world and not in a good way 🫤 it’s just chicken breast in a weird cornstarch thickened sauce instead of having that nice crispy roasted skin that I’m used to. There was also bean sprouts in it which was a bit off putting for me. Additionally, I couldn’t finish the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp was clearly added to the rice after instead of being cooked together-the shrimp had no flavour and tasted like dirty water 🫠 I had to add soy sauce and sweet chili sauce just to hide the taste of it…but yea I definitely didn’t finish it. Maybe they were just having an off day, I don’t know. But at least the customer service is excellent 🤷‍♀️

Doesn't even answer the phone..... Edit. Went in. Worst idea I've had in a long time. Should come with free toilet roll. And I'm not sure my chicken actually was. Also, hangs up the phone when you asked question.....

The owner is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met, and the cook seemed great as well. The food was good and came out quite quickly. There is a great selection, so there is something for everyone.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Harwich, lovely food always hot and fresh, good portions. The people serving are lovely and very polite. This has also got to be the best value takeaway we have ever used. Highly recommended 👌

Had a Singapore fried rice from here. Taste was banging. Lovely lady who served. Would highly recommend after the pub.

Food is good and good value for money

The most filthy disgusting chinese iv ever been to in my life, smelt like maggots (no exaggeration!) avoid at all costs!!!

One of the "better" chinese takeaways in Harwich. Very pleasant and you know it is all going to be freshly cooked as you can see through the door !!! Very clean, never had any problems with the food from here ever.
