2nd time eating here on our holiday and the food has been amazing. The manager and staff were very accommodating and made sure we was well looked after. Steak was unreal! We definitely recommend and would return.

Visited Tavan with husband and 4 friends for lunch on a wet, cold Saturday. It was empty apart from us (a couple came in later) but we received a warm, smiling welcome and drinks were ordered and delivered quickly.

Great food, welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere. The portions far outway the price with a varied and decent selection. Would recommend and come here again....

While staying at the attached hotel I decided to eat here, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the portion sizes were ample, the food was really nice and well presented. The service was excellent and the prices very reasonable, plenty of choice on the menu.

Stayed in hotel next door + almost never eat on site. However, you would be foolish not to eat here if you are in Peterborough. Shocked by lack of independent eateries on offer. This was good food, good quality + good portions. Great for vegetarians; the meze was lovely! I want to eat there for breakfast!

Ate there at lunchtime this week. Very quite but decor and background music still made for a pleasant atmosphere. Lovely meal, great service. Three of us shared the hot meze for two to start with. We each had a different main dish, all of which was good and plentiful. Look forward to going again.

We visited Tavan for a Valentine’s dinner and was really impressed with the service and standard of food. All of the staff were personable and professional. They provided a first class service. The food was absolutely excellent as well, with generous portion sizes. Overall the ambience and atmosphere made for a really enjoyable night and we’ll definitely be back soon.

We ordered food online using the recommended website in their Google profile, payment was taken. Went to the restaurant to collect to find they don't use that service anymore and the payment would be returned in 2 hours. Almost 2 weeks later and the payment hasn't been refunded. We ordered food to take away in the restaurant and waited 20 mins. Whilst I was ordering in the restaurant I saw a rat run across the restaurant floor and under a table where guests were seated. The food was tasty as always but we won't be eating there again.

Don't order food online using the recommended site, orderyoyo, as the restaurant don't use it and it's the wrong one...they will take payment but the order won't go through..we still haven't had our money back, they've been informed about this but they haven't changed their details yet!

We went to the Tavan for a meal with our daughter and her boyfriend; it was amazing. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was delicious. There was a bit of banter from the gentleman serving which enhanced the evening. There was plenty of food on our plates and we were all very full when we left. There was food to cater to all tastes. Service was excellent and we were not rushed at all. We will definitely be back in the New Year.

We took our girls out, had the hot and cold mezze for 2 between the 4 of us, and had chicken shish, lamb shish, lamb chops and chicken sec (a sizzling dish, topped with cheese). All so delicious. The girls really love the rice, and the laces of flatbread under the mezze.

The food was fantastic, the service was very good, all staff very friendly, a must go to place. Will certainly be returning to try more of the menu.

My friend and I went there yesterday evening for is birthday. My friend had the Kefta Tagine and I had the hot Meze. Presentation was great and a fantastic variety for the Meze. For Dessert we both had the Baklawa. House Red was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable time and it was excellent value for money. Very well worth a visit. We will definitely be going again.

The food was amazing, delicious and extremely flavourful, this ranks right up there as one of the best restaurants I have been to. As an American who was in the USAF, I have eaten in many countries, this place, Tavan was beautiful. I had the Kefta Tagine, and my wife had Pilici Shish, the Hummus, Feta salad, and Sucuk for starters, you really need to give this place a try

On a recent business trip, I visited here with my family. I can honestly say, it was one of the best meals I have ever had. If this restaurant was local to me, I would be visiting it all the time. Yum yum yummmmm

Another great dinner at Tavan. We had beyti kebab and lamb sac, both of dishes were delicious and full of flavour. We tried lamb sac for the first time and it surprised us of how tasty it was. Staff members are friendly and very presentable. They also have new restrooms which are great. The flowery wall is good addition to environment as it looks modern as well as Turkish vibe. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Visited as a large group and was really impressed with the food! Really tasty dishes and no complaints around the table. Fire cooked meat is always a winner and the mixed platter I had was all excellent!

We are staying in the hotel next door and the smell coming from the restaurant was so good we decided to have our evening meal here. Thank goodness we did. The service was fab. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was outstanding. One if the best meals we have had out in a long while and we will definitely visit again when in the area.

This restaurant is real find. Great tasting lunch made with good quality ingredients. Even the pitta bread was made in the restaurant. An extensive menu and generous portions and reasonable prices. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space and enough soft furnishings to make the acoustics pleasant - which I hope they’ll take note of when its refurbed early next year! Good amount of parking. If we lived nearer, this would be a regular restaurant for us.

Constantemente pobre. Entradas muy por debajo del estándar de otros restaurantes turcos locales. Tenía el Lamb Targine para la principal que no era nada como un Targine marroquí debería ser, hemos estado en el país varias veces y tenía razonablemente buenos targines en otros restaurantes en el Reino Unido. Mi esposa tenía el Shish Kebab, la carne estaba bien cocida aunque la porción era pequeña. Si quieres mejor comida turca prueba el Mad Turk en Stamford.

We came here for a week day lunch and had the set menu with the starter, main and dessert. The staff were friendly and helpful and attentive and the food was wonderful. It was really well presented and extremely tasty. There weren’t many people in the restaurant but the decor was fabulous and if it were a busy evening I’m sure the atmosphere would be great. We had a very enjoyable afternoon.

I am a regulular at the boutique hotel next door. From the opening of the restaurant I am really impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Amazing charcoal food, fresh salad and rice. The best of all it is healthy too. Anytime i stay at the Pearl i eat here. Highly recommended!
